Chapter 52: Chapter 52: This is called... Slightly Understandable

For a while, Yuran finally snapped back to reality, "Imperial University Affiliated High School?"

Bai Leyao nodded with a smile, her gaze boldly sizing up Yuran, "Yeah, exactly!"

Yuran chuckled twice. When she first transferred to Imperial University Affiliated High School, her reputation was indeed... indescribable.

Seeing Yuran’s embarrassment, Bai Leyao laughed, "Yuran, about what you just said, I agree, so now, come with me!"

Having said that, she reached out and grabbed Yuran’s hand. Yuran’s instinctive protests were ignored, and she could only passively let herself be dragged along by Bai Leyao.

Bai Shaoyu smiled helplessly, stood up, and followed behind the two girls, leaving the café.

All along the way, Bai Leyao chattered away. She was studying composition at Imperial Capital Music Academy, and as for her talent agency, it was really just a studio set up by her family for her to dabble in.

Bai Shaoyu, her brother, always pampered her, hiring a professional team for her that catered exclusively to her from marketing to production.

In telling these things, she didn’t mean to boast, but rather wanted to let Yuran know that the work environment with her was relatively relaxed, without the need to adhere strictly to other people’s schedules.

Yuran was astonished. Although she once had a team that served only her, that was because of the great economic benefits she brought, which justified such treatment.

The rich really know how to enjoy life.

It’s different, the levels are different.

Bai Shaoyu was driving, listening to his sister’s nonstop chatter without showing a trace of impatience, his lips curved in an indulgent smile.

Bai Leyao’s studio was located in a luxurious office building in the CBD of Imperial City, occupying the entire twenty-seventh floor, quite a grand gesture.

After showing her around the studio, Bai Leyao directly invited Yuran to her creative room, where papers were scattered all over the floor, some scribbled with music scores, others crumpled into balls and thrown into little piles.

The creative room was large, stocked with all kinds of musical instruments. It was evident that Bai Leyao was quite versatile. She finally let go of the hand that had been holding Yuran’s wrist, walked to the piano, searched for a while, retrieved a completed musical score, and handed it to Yuran, "It’s the MV for this song, take a look for me!"

Yuran was surprised, "Me?"

Bai Leyao nodded, "Yeah, you!" Then, as if she had just thought of something, she scratched her head sheepishly, "Sorry, sorry, I didn’t mean anything by it, I just also wanted you to have a look, I forgot to ask if you could read music scores!"

"A bit!" Seeing Bai Leyao’s apology, Yuran smiled gently, a smile full of warmth and tolerance.

Bai Leyao’s eyes lit up and she quickly pushed it into Yuran’s hands, "Really, then take a look for me, quickly see if it’s good?"

Bai Shaoyu watched his sister’s dramatic reactions, shaking his head helplessly from the doorway. Yuran lowered her gaze, her eyes falling on the musical score Bai Leyao had completed, with lyrics that were quite naïve and a melody that was upbeat and lively.

It seemed to target the young audience of ages 12 to 25.

Yuran was captivated and subconsciously walked over to sit in front of the piano, placed the score on the stand, touched the piano keys, and began playing swiftly, very proficiently.

Bai Leyao felt like she had been hit by a thousand blows, scooting over to her brother, and watching Yuran’s silhouette she asked, "This is called... ’a bit off’?"

Bai Shaoyu’s gaze was deep, his eyes stuck on Yuran’s hands, contemplative.
