Chapter 344: Chapter 344: As Long As You’re with Me, Anywhere is Fine

Bo Yan felt his breath hitch, a wave of heat rushing to his head. He clenched his teeth in the dark. Was the girl unwittingly flirting with him because she knew he was powerless at the moment, or was she doing it on purpose?

No matter which it was, he decided to treat it as if she was doing it intentionally.

His throat felt parched as he stared straight ahead, "Baby, don’t blame me for not warning you, but you might not be able to handle the consequences of flirting on purpose."

Although Yuran understood a lot, she lacked practical experience and had no idea how intense a man’s desire could be. She also failed to detect the restraint in Bo Yan’s tone.

Her laughter was like peach blossoms in March, her face delicate as a bud, "Seventh Brother, I want to have children."

The car took an extremely strange turn, followed by a piercing screech of brakes ringing in their ears.

Bo Yan brought the car to a halt.

Startled by the sudden incident, perhaps due to the car accident earlier in the day, Yuran was a bit traumatized and, still shaken, she unbuckled her seatbelt and pounced on Bo Yan.

Her body trembled as she anxiously checked Bo Yan, "Seventh Brother, are you hurt, did you hit anywhere?"

Bo Yan’s pupils constricted as he pulled the girl into his arms and hugged her tightly, "I’m fine..." he said, kissing her forehead repeatedly to soothe her emotions.

He was somewhat surprised, why had she become so frightened?

But he didn’t ask, instead just holding her tightly, comforting her over and over, until after a long while, Yuran was finally calmed down.

He held her face, planting kisses on her forehead, eyes, nose, and lips, and then in a hoarse voice, asked, "Did I scare you?"

Yuran wasn’t scared anymore. She lifted her eyes to meet his deep gaze, the tension dissolving instantly. She looked at him and shook her head, "I’m fine, just..."

Bo Yan grunted, "Just what?"

She stammered out the details of the car accident she had at noon. Bo Yan’s eyebrows knitted together, he pinched her face slightly, and a surge of irritation rose within him, "Next time, don’t you dare drive out on your own. Either I take you or we get a chauffeur."

"Why? It really was just an accident at noon."

Bo Yan, "I don’t want to see any unintended injuries on you, baby. Be good, don’t worry me. When I’m less busy, I’ll take you to practice driving, and then we can hit the road, okay?"

Yuran swallowed the words she wanted to retort with and nodded, "Alright, I’ll listen to you."

Bo Yan smiled, pinching her chin to lift it and leaning in to press a kiss on her lips, "Baby, why do you suddenly want to have children with me?"

Yuran thought for a moment and shared her thoughts, "I think children are a matter of fate. It’s good to have them early. I’m not too busy with my career right now and have time to watch him grow up.

If I get busy later on, I might not have time to have children, and besides..."

"And besides what?"

Yuran smiled, "And I’m a bit curious, what will our child look like, more like you or more like me?"

Her voice brimmed with expectation, as though she truly wished for a child at that very moment.

Bo Yan couldn’t help but laugh and sigh, rubbing her little head, "Don’t you regret it later."

"I won’t regret it."

Bo Yan’s eyes flickered, placing the girl back in the passenger seat before continuing to drive, "Okay, I promise you."

"Really?" Yuran’s face couldn’t hide her joy as she stared straight at him. Bo Yan smiled and hummed in agreement, "But before that, we need to consult a doctor. Considering your age now, we need to see if having a child would affect you in any way.

If there are risks, we can wait a couple more years, but if it’s possible, then we’ll have one."

Yuran’s eyes lit up, "Okay."

Bo Yan shook his head, the tenderness in his eyes kept brimming. Nobody knew how he felt at that moment; indeed, he was a detached man, even before he completely fell in love with the person by his side.

He never thought he needed a partner in this lifetime.

To him, dating and managing a relationship were very time-consuming, labor-intensive, and unappealing tasks.

He never knew that everything becomes natural, and even more so, utterly insufficient once you meet someone you fall for.

He wanted to watch dozens of movies with her, wanted to accompany her shopping, wanted to be there as she grew, and most of all, wanted to be with her for a very long time.

And when a person you like and who likes you back says they want to have children with you...

That feeling, that thrill, can’t be understood by someone who hasn’t experienced it. He didn’t know how others would feel in such a situation.

But when it happened to him, apart from gratitude, he felt even more fortunate.

Fortunate to have met the person he liked in this world, and that she was willing to join him in facing the upcoming life together.

Yuran may have thought of it as something spontaneous, deciding it was the right time and just going for it.

But to Bo Yan, it was different. To him, the fact that Yuran was willing to have his children was worth cherishing her in the palm of his hands for a lifetime.

...

After four hours of driving, it was past nine at night when Yuran and Bo Yan finally arrived at their reserved hotel in Q city, Y International Hotel.

Surrounded by the sea on three sides, this hotel is the top choice for high-end domestic wedding photography and honeymoon couples, featuring a romantic couples’ hotel. The room was booked in advance by Xie Cheng, and the two presented their IDs to check in.

Even upon recognizing the identity of the big movie star Bo Yan, who was checking into a hotel with a woman, the front desk staff remained unflustered. Apart from an initial surprise, everything else followed procedure smoothly.

After check-in, bellboys and waiters offered to help with the luggage and show the way.

Bo Yan held Yuran’s hand, advancing at a leisurely pace.

They walked through a small garden bursting with flowers, much like the Suzhou Gardens, and after about fifteen minutes, they finally reached their room.

Seeing the pink standalone villa before her, Yuran exclaimed in awe, leaning in to whisper into Bo Yan’s ear, "Xie Cheng sure knows how to set the mood, aware that we are newlyweds and need the atmosphere."

"Tss..." Bo Yan’s smile dimmed instantly, "Baby, this was my choice; I asked Xie Cheng to arrange it."

Stunned, Yuran giggled, tiptoeing to plant a kiss on his cheek, "Seventh Brother, you’re amazing."

The waiter settled their luggage, the staff member efficiently introduced the benefits of the standalone villa, and then turned to leave. In the quiet courtyard of the villa, only the two of them remained.

Yuran took off her mask, her eyes sparkling as she gazed at Bo Yan, "Seventh Brother, thank you."

Bo Yan caressed her hand, locking eyes with the young girl, the joy in his eyes too dense to dissolve, "I should be apologizing for not taking you out more, only letting you relax here, and the time we have is so short."

"Mm-hmm~~" Yuran nodded, her tone melodious and laced with laughter, "As long as I’m with you, anywhere is fine."
