Chapter 283: Every good morning is from me, every good night, too.
Chapter 283: Chapter 283: Every good morning is from me, every good night, too.
The wedding was set for the fourth day after their arrival at the Las Vegas Castle. Seeing that Yuran was in good spirits, Bo Yan’s mother urged them to get the matter settled as soon as possible; after all, marriage is a major affair, and the sooner it’s dealt with, the more at ease they would feel.
Therefore, the night before, Situ Jue had contacted some people to work overtime to start decorating the venue, and Bo Yan personally arranged for the transportation of the wedding dress.
Since they had communicated beforehand, the wedding dress had already arrived in Las Vegas, and it could be ready at any time as long as Bo Yan called.
In the end, Annan and the others chose champagne-gold dresses with light tassels that complemented the wedding dress Yuran had picked out, creating a harmonious combination.
With Bo Yan and Situ Jue busy with arrangements outside, and the butler leading the servants to help out, Yuran, sticking with the other three, had no interest in exploring the castle and could only stay in the room chatting.
Annan had been living in the castle for several days and still hadn’t finished touring it, and over these days, all their shopping expenses outside were covered by Situ Jue.
Living like a deity couldn’t be too delightful.
She lay on the sofa in Yuran’s room, gazing at the luxurious decor of the castle, and reflected, "I used to think my dad, being a big shot in the shipbuilding industry, was pretty wealthy, and I could at least consider myself rich.
After seeing the golden residence Bo Yan prepared for you, I realized how naive I was. This is what being truly wealthy is all about, right?"
Yuran couldn’t help but laugh, "Your family is also very wealthy. Why are you making yourself uncomfortable comparing it to Bo Yan’s wealth?"
She knew very well that such comparisons were pointless.
Bai Leyao also deeply agreed, complaining to Yuran, "Ranran, you have no idea. Today, I asked the butler where the massage room in the castle was since I was planning to get a massage. He told me to go fifty meters to the left, turn right and go upstairs, and after another thirty meters, the third room on the right would be it.
I can’t even describe my shock. If I wanted my dad to build me a castle like this, would he kill me?"
Qi Nian nodded, "Very likely, that’s just squandering money!"
Bai Leyao thought for a moment, "Then forget it. Although my dad is nice to me, he has a bad temper, often raising his voice at me. I’m really scared of him. My brother, however, is very good."
Qi Nian, "Then have your brother build you one."
Annan, "Do you two think you can just build a castle whenever you wish? Would the urban planning bureau approve? Is your land legal? Do you have the necessary permits?"
The two simpletons huddled together, their faces wrinkled like steamed buns, "It’s that troublesome?!"
Annan simply couldn’t be bothered to speak anymore.
She sideways glanced at Yuran with a wistful look and suddenly smiled, "Ranran, have you ever thought about getting married so young?"
In her heart, Yuran had an immediate answer. If it was anyone other than today’s groom, she wouldn’t have thought about marriage at all.
So she answered confidently, "If it wasn’t Bo Yan, no."
Annan nodded in understanding, "I could guess. After all, such an outstanding person as Bo Yan exists only in heaven and not on earth, and it’s nothing short of a miracle that you could snag him."
"Am I not outstanding?" Yuran questioned, pointing at herself with a doubtful expression.
Annan couldn’t help but laugh, "Why do you always nitpick when someone speaks? You’re about to get married, how do you feel?"
"It’s complicated. Having too much money, I don’t even know how to spend it."
As Yuran spoke, she looked at everyone with a face just asking to be punched, the expression truly seeming troubled. The three couldn’t help themselves, and with a throw of the pillow, Qi Nian said, "Girls, let’s punch her."
The trio pounced on her, surrounding Yuran completely and incessantly tickling her. They tumbled into a heap as Yuran laughed until her face contorted. "Stop it, stop it right now; believe me, I’ll have Bo Yan release the pets to guard over your sleep."
"Malicious."
The three said in unison, then also took the opportunity to back off. After all, it was just a joke, and a little fun was enough.
Qi Nian put the pillow back in her arms and looked at Yuran with a smile, "You’re married now, things aren’t the same as before. Will it be convenient for us to look for you in the future?"
Bai Leyao spoke up, "Exactly, you’re only nineteen. If you get pregnant and have a child, you’ll only be in your twenties. Isn’t that too early for you?"
Yuran was speechless, "Who told you that getting married means I have to have children?"
Bai Leyao looked puzzled, "Isn’t passing on the family line the main mission?"
"The Qing Dynasty has been gone for over a hundred years, young lady, wake up." Yuran tapped Bai Leyao’s forehead and retorted.
Qi Nian giggled to herself. Bai Leyao had always doubted her intelligence, but in fact, Qi Nian held herself in high regard, always believing that her IQ was not inferior to Bai Leyao’s. She just didn’t want to stoop to Bai Leyao’s level.
Their private time was undisturbed, and amidst the chaotic chat, by four in the morning, the makeup artists had already arrived at the castle. Bo Yan personally came up to call them for makeup.
There were two teams for makeup: one for the bridesmaid group and another specifically for Yuran.
The butler led the three to another makeup room, while Yuran’s makeup needed only to be done in her own room before heading to the wedding and then to Bo Yan’s room.
This was what had been agreed upon beforehand.
Once her best friends had all left, only Bo Yan and Yuran were left in the room. The servants tactfully closed the door and stood outside.
Yuran felt somewhat nervous. She had never imagined she would get married so early, and to marry someone she was very willing and very eager to marry.
There was a distance between her and Bo Yan, and while he stood still, Yuran stepped toward him. With each step, it felt as if she were treading on Bo Yan’s heart.
Until she reached him and looked up at his resolute jawline, Bo Yan suddenly smiled and pulled her into his arms, "This wedding is quite simple and it’s a slight inconvenience for you. After you’re old enough to get married back home, I’ll give you another grand wedding there, okay?"
Yuran shook her head within his embrace, "Actually, it’s already very nice."
Bo Yan insisted, "But I want to give you something better. It wasn’t easy marrying a wife, so how can I let her suffer the slightest grievance?"
"I don’t feel aggrieved."
Bo Yan, "But, I feel that you’re aggrieved."
Yuran: "..."
After a pause, Bo Yan took a big red jewelry box from his pocket and presented it to Yuran. She looked at it in surprise and asked, "Seventh Brother, has the couple rings you endorsed arrived?"
Bo Yan nodded, "They were designed never to be sold publicly. There were two designs, the designer kept one for himself, and I got the other. I think it’s a style you’ll like."
As he spoke, Bo Yan opened the box in front of Yuran. Inside lay the couple rings that he had shown her in the design sketches before. Yuran couldn’t believe it, "Does this mean he’d actually made them before sending you the designs?"
