Chapter 153: Chapter 153: Can You Do Anything Else?

Xie Cheng didn’t stop walking; he caught up in the garage, "If not for Actor Bo, did you hear my suggestion just now? Having Yuran move in would be the same, right?"

Bo Yan placed the suitcase properly and looked up at Xie Cheng, "Why don’t you try convincing her? See if she will come or not?"

Given he had just returned so many apartment keys in an instant, it would be a miracle if she came.

Xie Cheng choked, looking at the now idle Actor Bo, "Are you planning to rest now? No more variety shows? Not attending any events? Are you participating in nothing at all?"

Bo Yan opened the door of the driver’s seat and upon hearing that, frowned, "’Hero’ is still in theaters, isn’t it? There’s a celebration party after it finishes its run. How can you say I have no work next? Isn’t socializing also work?"

Xie Cheng: "..."

This is absolutely ridiculous.

Bo Yan waved his hand, "Stand aside, don’t block my way."

Xie Cheng: "..."

...

When Yuran got home, she didn’t see Bo Yan but saw a pair of brand new men’s slippers at the door, and she was like: "..."

Really? Bringing his own slippers? Was he planning on staying long?

This was definitely not a good sign. Later, as she was busy in the kitchen, she heard a noise at the entrance. She poked her head out and saw Bo Yan, who was entering with luggage and changing shoes.

Yuran: "..."

She turned off the stove and went out, standing still in front of Bo Yan, and tentatively started, "Brother Qi, you..."

Bo Yan finished changing his shoes, turned his head, and glanced at her, acknowledging with an ’Oh’, "Didn’t I tell you before that I would be staying here for a while? That’s why I brought some luggage."

This was truly speechless.

Yuran didn’t know that from that moment, for a long time to come, she would always see the idle actor at home, both when she left and when she returned.

He was never busy like he claimed.

Busy? Not a chance.

For now, though, Yuran couldn’t find it in herself to refuse. She simply followed the course of the conversation, "Brother Qi, have you had dinner? I’m making noodles. Do you want a bowl?"

Bo Yan replied, "Sure, I’ll just go put my luggage in the room, then I’ll be right out."

Yuran struggled to maintain her composure, nodding stiffly and turned back towards the kitchen, "Okay then!"

Back in the kitchen, her smile collapsed. Staring at the bowl of noodles she had already prepared, she cursed herself for meddling. If he hadn’t eaten, it wasn’t her problem. Why did she ask?

Absolutely ridiculous.

Resigned, she got another bowl of noodles ready and brought it out. There, Actor Bo was already sitting at the dining table, waiting as if expecting to be fed.

It seemed perfectly natural.

Yuran was a bit annoyed but tried to focus on the positive aspects of Bo Yan, like how he taught her acting. That calmed her slightly. She approached and handed him the bowl of noodles.

During his extended stay, Bo Yan was quite satisfied with Yuran’s noodle-making skills. While fiddling with the noodles in his bowl, he asked, "Besides noodles, can you cook anything else?"

"Hmm?" Yuran, puzzled, looked up at him.

Bo Yan remarked, "Eating noodles every day isn’t nutritious. Can you cook? I’ll have Xie Cheng send over some groceries."

Yuran’s eyes widened, overwhelmed. Not only was he freeloading, but he also expected her to be a maid? This was outrageous.

Yuran replied, "Brother Qi, I don’t have time to come back and cook, I’m really busy with my coursework, usually a bowl of noodles is the most time-efficient option."
