Anton spent several hours hunting for the best gear that he could give his sister. He would have preferred to give her an amulet, a ring, or a circlet because those were the best-looking ones, and as a very young girl, even though Anna was focused on increasing her power, just like him and their father, Anton had an inkling that she would prefer something pretty.

He managed to collect the runes to create the two runeword staffs, Memory. and Obsession, and the runeword spear Insight, but just like the Heart of the Oak mace, Anton thought that the best item that Anna could have was something that she could wear all the time.

So far, the best one that Anton did find was a circlet with a plus three to Sorceress skills, plus sixty to life, plus thirty to energy, plus twenty percent all resistances, and two open sockets. The circlet wasn’t actually considered the best because of its lack of the option “fast cast rate,” but that option wasn’t that needed in real life. The circlet was called the Sorceress Circlet of Enlightenment.

Regarding the two sockets, Anton thought of the fact that the rune or gem that he should put there was the ones that would benefit Anna greatly, and the only thing that he could think of was those that add to resistances, life, energy, or the ones that replenish life or/and energy.

Anton ultimately chose to socket perfect skulls on the two sockets because it would add the option of replenishing life plus ten and regenerating mana plus thirty-eight percent.

He then asked Anna if she would prefer a staff or a circlet, and Anna immediately answered circlet.

“I can wear the circlet all the time,” Anna answered.

It was exactly as Anton had thought, so he didn’t hesitate anymore and transferred the Sorceress Circlet of Enlightenment from the game to the real world. When they saw the circlet, the three of them gasped at its beauty. It was truly a work of art. It looked like it was made from a single crystal and was glittering from the light of the day. It looked fragile, but based on his testing, the circlet was very sturdy. But to be honest, Anton could not say for sure because he hesitated in using his full strength in testing its durability, since he was afraid of damaging the item.

Anton then told his family all the options that the wearer of the circlet would receive. After he mentioned all the benefits, Anders said that the circlet was just like his armor and his mace. Legendary items. Anna seemed to care more about the beauty of the circlet instead of the stats that it would provide her, so he just wrote the options on a piece of paper and handed the paper to her.

When Anna wore the circlet, just like Anders Enigma armor, its size automatically conformed to the wearer.

“You look very pretty, Anna,” their father told her, and Anton verbally agreed with him, which made Anna smile.

A smile was now very rare for all of them, and they all treasured the moments that would give happiness, even if that happiness would only last for a little while.

After that interruption, they all returned to what they normally did each day, but Anton saw that Anna would stop once in a while, remove the circlet from her head, and admire it for several minutes.

Anton created his next character in the ladder season, which was the Paladin. His Sorceress and his Necromancers added twenty percent of each of their Energy stats to Anton's real body stats, and his Druid added twenty percent of its vitality to Anton’s real world vitality.

The additional stats were making him truly powerful, and he couldn’t wait until he received all the bonuses. Not only that, the next item that he would transfer was also going to add to his power because he would keep that one, and he would choose something that he could wear all the time, just like Anna’s. That meant a ring, an amulet, a headgear, or armor, and to be honest, he was currently inclined to get armor because that was the most powerful one. He might even get an Enigma as well, but he still had time to think of the best item that he would get.

Another six weeks passed, and Anders never missed announcing the passing of the week every seven days. Anton also had to utilize the enchanted item that he made that would allow their lifeboat to hover on top of the ocean for several hours so he could sleep, and he did it once every four weeks.

Anders was also relentless in continuing everyone’s sword practice because he wanted to make sure that everyone was strong physically. Anton also never forgot to transfer the minor potions every day and gave them to his father and Anna. At first, Anton expected Anna and their father to increase their wizardly rank during those six weeks, but he guessed that it would be harder when the rank was higher.

They had been traveling in the ocean nonstop for a total of four months and two weeks already, and Anton knew that they could arrive at their destination earlier than scheduled because of the speed of their travel. At the very least, after several months of travel, he could almost say that they had escaped the undead.

Anton also reached the maximum level for his Druid character in the ladder season, and twenty percent of the Paladin’s Vitality stat was transferred to Anton’s real body, causing his power and defenses to increase yet again.

Regarding the item that he would transfer from the game to the real world, he was torn between Enigma and Chains of Honor. The additional damage to undead and demons by the runeword armor Chains of Honor was the one option that kept the armor in consideration, and as someone who could teleport already, Enigma’s most important skill option wasn’t useful to Anton.

Ultimately, Anton chose the runeword armor Chains of Honor because he thought that the increased damage to undead would serve him the best, and since they already had Enigma, he didn’t want duplicate items.

When he transferred armor from the game, his father and sister noticed it since just like the previous items that he transferred, it emitted a powerful aura.

“Is that armor the same as mine?” Anders asked.

Anton told his father and sister that it was different from Enigma and told them its option. He then wore the armor, and just like before, it automatically considered his body size, which made the armor very comfortable to wear. Upon wearing the item, Anton felt its power, and since he hadn’t tested the items before, he now realized the huge power that his system’s legendary items would give him.

After that interruption, they returned to doing what they were doing every day. Anton then created the character next in line in the ladder system, which was the Assassin. A couple of weeks later, his Assassin character reached level seventy-five.

Anna announced that she could feel herself approaching wizardly rank six, but had not reached it yet and just like her, Anders told his children that he could feel rank four approaching as well. Anton knew that if they continued traveling for four more weeks, Anna and Anders would have reached the next rank, but they had to stop.

They finally reached the new continent after five months of travel.  Before approaching the land, Anton summoned a raven and, using its eyes, scouted the area first. Anton saw the road near the beach but didn’t see anyone. He commanded the raven to fly as far as it could under its control, and finally saw a town.
