Chapter 72: Chapter 72 Little Dragon Hatchling: Jingjing is mine! 3

Mo Yinhe handed his son over to Ye Shen and returned to his bedroom.

It was only after he returned to the bedroom that he realized the other mischievous Little Dragon had also run away. He searched the entire bedroom, not even sparing the space under the bed, but still couldn’t find her.

Mo Yinhe stood with one hand on his hip, the other pressing his brow. He had underestimated her strength.

The her of the past didn’t know medical skills. She had repeatedly assured him that as long as she smelled the Zhanlong Fragrance, she would be a lamb to the slaughter, completely at his mercy.

But now, how had she managed to escape, despite being so thoroughly drunk she was acting like a little fool?

Mo Yinhe grabbed his coat and went to the small building to look for her.

As expected, he came up empty-handed.

Mo Yinhe decisively checked the surveillance. He discovered she had indeed returned to the small building. Her small figure struggled with each step, staggering as if on an arduous journey. After returning to the small building, she had transformed back into human form in less than ten minutes.

In the depths of the winter night, bundled up tightly, she returned to the villa—not to his room, but to his son’s bedroom.

Mo Yinhe strode forward, arriving at the entrance of the children’s room just as Ye Shen was coming out.

Through the partially open door, Mo Yinhe saw Xiaobai inside the bedroom. Like a soothed little lion, Xiaobai had his arms wrapped around Si Mingjing’s neck, his large eyes ringed with red as he buried his head in her embrace. The two of them clung together like conjoined twins, as if not even a volcanic eruption could separate them.

"Brother, it’s handled," Ye Shen said. "Miss Si is amazing; Xiaobai stopped crying as soon as she arrived. Why don’t you let Miss Si stay with Xiaobai for the night?"

Mo Yinhe suppressed the frustration of facing a night alone in his room and shot Ye Shen a glare.

In the bedroom, Si Mingjing continued her comforting gestures, gently rubbing Xiaobai’s round little head. "Don’t cry," she soothed. "I promise to stay with you tonight."

Her peripheral vision, however, caught the tall and imposing shadow outside the children’s room—broad-shouldered, long-legged, lofty, a natural-born leader.

Fortunately, she had Xiaobai tonight; otherwise, she wouldn’t have been able to return to the small building, find the Silver Needle to save herself, and revert to her human form.

But that perfume was truly potent. She could only revert to her human form; her legs were still weak, and she couldn’t flee far.

After careful consideration, Xiaobai’s bedroom was the safest place.

Si Mingjing felt a lingering fear, yet she couldn’t help but laugh inwardly. Mo Yinhe, I don’t believe you’d dare make a move on me in front of your son!

"Jingjing, Little Master knew you couldn’t leave me."

Ye Nianbai happily scrambled out of her embrace, jumped off the bed, and ran to the door. With a SNAP, he closed it firmly, not forgetting to lock it.

Recalling that his dressing room was connected to his father’s, Ye Nianbai, after closing the bedroom door, also went to lock the dressing room door.

He even made sure to close the windows.

He secured everything tightly, leaving no chance for his dad to come in and drive Jingjing away.

Lastly, he proudly shook the adorably cute Dragon Horns on his head. He then rolled back into Si Mingjing’s embrace and hugged her neck tightly once more. "Jingjing, I want to hear a bedtime story."

A bedtime story? What the heck was that?

She hadn’t even attended elementary school.

However, when she was young, her mother liked to hold her and tell her bedtime stories. She still vaguely remembered some of them.

"Okay," Si Mingjing began. "A long, long time ago on Earth, there were four continents: the Atlantis Continent, the Mu Continent, the Lemuria Continent, and the Gendaya Continent.

"Each continent was home to glorious civilizations, beautiful landscapes, and majestic cities. However, they all faced a cataclysm, swept away by a prehistoric great flood. Tens of millions of inhabitants could not escape, and along with their continents, they sank Undersea."
