Chapter 943: Chapter 484: The Fall of the Harbor_1

"Chaotic Demon!" Owen Bertram quietly instructed as the recent "excellent employee" rose solemnly from the sea.

Owen Bertram had already used the "Pardon Authority" in advance to transform a large amount of seawater into some unique form of "life", like the mountains previously, these waters morphed into huge battle armors, attached automatically to the body of the Chaotic Demon.

This layer of water armor not only provides a strong defense for the Chaotic Demon, but also helps it acquire the "affinity" of the sea, acting freely without any obstruction.

The attendants and temple knights exclaimed in unison, "Seven Mountains Power!"

"Judgment Chief was right, there really is an ambush!"

However, the Fourth Judge felt relieved instead. As long as it wasn’t Owen Bertram, he was fine. Being confronted by a Demon Beast possessing the power of the Seven Mountains and unable to use the "World" Divine Artifacts, he still had confidence in his victory.

Endless seawater surged, lifting the Chaotic Demon into the sky to wage a fierce battle with the Fourth Judge. Among the Summit Navy fleet, powerful cultivators also surged out, taking to the air to clash with the attendants and Temple Knights.

But everyone knew that the real key to this battle was the duel between the two wielders of the Seven Mountains Power.

Their battle churned the sky and the earth, causing the formation of a massive storm with them at the center. Stormy waves surged outward incessantly, and if there happened to be a fishing boat nearby, it would inevitably suffer an unprovoked disaster.

Gradually at a disadvantage, the Chaotic Demon’s attacks were blocked by a pair of black flame wings of the giant sword. The water armor on its body gradually weakened under the "Sin Hammer", as various "sins" took effect. Finally, the Chaotic Demon let out a roar as the last of its water armor shattered under a "sin". The "Sin Hammer" then slammed down on the Demon.

Boom...

The Chaotic Demon fell heavily into the sea.

On his Flying Carriage Palace, Owen Bertram surreptitiously gave a thumbs up: He hadn’t noticed before, but this fellow’s acting skills were quite good, nearly on par with his own.

The Chaotic Demon was just an employee, not like the Bat Taoist or the Mesmerizing Demon. They could not communicate with the host through their hearts. As the Chaotic Demon fell heavily into the sea, his body kept emitting dark gases similar to fresh blood. As it fled deeper into the sea, it wailed internally: The boss told me to fake defeat to lure the enemy, but they’re too strong. I actually lost!

It seems hard work doesn’t suit me. I miss the old days when I could slack off...

"Boss, boss, hurry up, I’ve lured the enemy for you. If you don’t show up, I’m done for!"

Behind the Chaotic Demon, the Fourth Judge plunged into the sea. During the previous battle, he was careful of Owen Bertram suddenly striking. However, he saw through whether the Chaotic Demon’s defeat was real or a decoy.

Thus, unexpectedly, it was the Chaotic Demon who eliminated the last bit of doubt in the Fourth Judge’s mind, who then chased after him full force.

Once they enter the sea, Owen Bertram wouldn’t worry anymore.

As the Fourth Judge followed into the depths of the sea, the two reached nearly a thousand feet deep where it was pitch black with tremendous water pressure and freezing cold. Suddenly, the Fourth Judge felt a chill colder than the seawater above him and enveloped the entire seafloor at great speed.

The Fourth Judge felt colder than the freezing power. He was careful, yet still fell into their trap!

This power was eerily familiar to the Fourth Judge. He had clashed with it not long ago in the Blood-mist Valley, a power from the World of the Dead.

He raised his head and in the dark sea, he saw the figure that he and Ilda despised!

Then he looked down again. The Seven Mountains Demon Beings which had been chased earlier were gone. Below, two peculiar giant Demon Beasts rushed up to him, baring their teeth and claws.

One was a crocodile-shaped beast he was familiar with, and the other looked like a huge turtle!

Without hesitation, the Fourth Judge took out his spear, stabbed himself to transform into lightning to escape through the water. As for the attendants, Temple Knights, and King Port that was left behind, what could be more important than his own life?

Having turned into lightning, he swiftly broke free from the encirclement of Owen Bertram and the two strange beasts, increasing the distance between them rapidly. But why was there always a shadow overhead?

The Fourth Judge subconsciously released all his Divine Artifacts, even though the cost of overlapping them was something he couldn’t bear. But he knew that the shadow was Owen Bertram’s "trap". Owen was meticulously plotting to lure him out, thus the trap must be lethal!

Then he looked up and saw an indescribably large mouth descending and swallowing his magnificent Seven Mountains Divine Artifacts. Some of them were as large as mountains, but they were like small fish and shrimp in the mouth of a whale, swallowed without resistance.

Then as the Great Mouth swooped down, the Fourth Judge lost consciousness.

...

Owen Bertram was initially worried. After all, it was the power of the Seven Mountains. Could "Brother" deal with it? Or would he get hurt? But he didn’t have to wait long. Brother returned lazily, stating that he was a bit full and wanted to go back to sleep.
