Chapter 680: Chapter 415: The Ancient God chose the wrong person_1
Leroy Baker and his group of three took their orders, standing tall and heading out with a saluting bow. Following closely behind them were separate teams of Beans Soldiers.
Leroy Baker roared with laughter, "Everyone, let’s see who can kill the most Red Barbarians in this battle!"
"Alright!" The other three responded loudly.
Due to the presence of Red Barbarians, Westeros City was heavily guarded and, come nightfall, the Arrays were activated. Taking the lead, Greystone tossed his Great Spear into the air. Endless Spiritual Light came rolling from all directions and converged on the Great Spear, coalescing into a giant golden phoenix. With just one peck at a city gate, it shattered effortlessly. Shrinking in size, the Spiritual Light Phoenix charged through the gate with Greystone and the Beans Soldiers following closely behind.
Catherine gathered massive amounts of Water Spirit, which transformed into a raging river outside her body, crushing a section of the city wall. She also led the Beans Soldiers into the city.
Leroy Baker fumbled around in his arms, pulling out a sturdy mountain cleaver and slashed it out without decorum. This unassuming blade turned out to be a Tier-6 Magical Instrument! A giant blade light, hundreds of feet long, burst from the edge of the sword, breaking through the Array and creating a large gap in the city wall. He, too, charged into the city with his Beans Soldiers.
Only Glenn Mitchell faced issues. The axe he obtained in Eden Cave broke, and he had been using a Tier-4 Flying Sword he found at the Summit Metropolitan Office. Even though it was a pretty good Tier-4 weapon, it was not compatible with his Realm. Several strikes from his sword were blocked by the city’s defensive Array.
Glenn Mitchell’s eyes bulged. The Array and city walls that had looked like a piece of cake had turned into roadblocks for him. The root of the problem was simple: Poverty!
Seeing himself falling behind, Glenn Mitchell gave a loud shout, channeling all his Fifth Realm strength into a sword strike, creating an opening in the Array; then he yelled again, and the second sword blow broke the city gate, allowing him to finally rush in with the Beans Soldiers.
Greystone, Catherine, and Leroy Baker had already reached the Red Barbarians’ base!
The Biological Test Material Group 7 had six remaining members who were stationed in an odd-looking Divine Temple in the city. The heavily guarded temple was built of giant rocks, with a tall stone tower in the center.
Before Leroy Baker even arrived, he started chuckling weirdly and tossed out a net. The net quickly expanded and covered the entire Divine Temple. Then it sank down, seeping into the Divine Temple regardless of the building’s existence. With a yank, Leroy Baker hoisted up the net, lifting hundreds of people from inside the temple into the air.
Most of them were Nanni cultivators, with the six Red Barbarians among them.
Greystone yelled out angrily, "Cheating!"
Next to her, she drew forth a large bow, and the bowstring was drawn back, condensing a Spiritual Light arrow. With a swoosh, the arrow shot forth, piercing through the net and killing one of the Red Barbarians!
The arrow also passed through seven or eight Nanni cultivators.
Raising her left hand, Catherine spread all five fingers, pointing them towards the net. Her veil fluttered without wind. Within a certain area in the net, all fluids were drained by her, turning over a hundred Nanni cultivators and two Red Barbarians into mummies!
Leroy Baker screamed in fury, "You’re cheating!" He quickly pulled back the net, and the Fish Lines, sharp as blades, shredded the remaining people in the net - both Nanni citizens and Red Barbarians – into pieces, which rained down from the sky...
Having just rushed into the city, Glenn Mitchell’s frustrated face was green with envy. Was this battle already over?
Greystone fumed, "I am fierce and valorous in battle. If we had competed fairly, I would definitely have ranked first!" But in the current situation, she had only come second to last.
At least there was one fool who ended up last.
Leroy Baker, on the other hand, was grinning from ear to ear, pleased as punch. Souls of the six Red Barbarians and countless Nanni cultivators floated motionlessly in front of him, suspended like drowned bodies in water. The Dominion of his superior still exerted its effects, locking everything in place.
Leroy Baker suddenly lost interest. After all, he, as an Eastern landlord, was a Fifth Great Realm figure, and he had countless treasures on him. He could be undefeated across the Fifth Realm in a real duel. However, under the support of his superior, this battle felt more like a slaughter: how can I find any pleasure if you do not even resist?
Then he noticed something, "How large is our superior’s Domain, anyway?"
Their superior had chosen Lonely Peak as his seat, located not more than twenty miles from Westeros City, which was about five miles in radius. Their superior sat atop on Lonely Peak, his Domain covering the entire County Town, which meant that after the First Honor, his Domain had at least expanded beyond twenty-five miles!
Under normal circumstances, after achieving the First Honor, if the Sixth Great Realm Master’s Dominion encompassed more than five miles, it would be considered satisfactory. Outstanding ones could reach about ten miles.
Lord Johnson of the Sixth Great Realm, known as the "Lord of Hundred Miles" in the Cultivation World, had his title because the maximum scope of his domain after the Six Merits – his "Domain" - should reach one hundred miles. Only by reaching this standard can one aspire to the Seventh Level.
The Domain after the first Merit was usually the smallest and increased incrementally with each subsequent Merit. If the Domain size could reach ten miles after the first Merit, then the title of "Lord of Hundred Miles" could be anticipated!
So, what kind of level is it in the Sixth Great Realm when the superior gains his Domain after the first Merit? It was approximately on par with ordinary goods like Harrison Ainsworth, Colby Dominic, Lin Ronald, and Julius, who could never match it - a super genius.
