Chapter 1871: Chapter 678: Entangled Seal Beast_3

The "Observation Skill" was a technique Lord Sun found in some corner of the Library Pavilion in Hiram Garden. After reading it once, he casually began to cultivate it. It wasn’t a sophisticated technique; it’s primarily used by those refining immortality to evaluate the grade of Immortal Pills. There are many such techniques, most of which are more effective and accurate, and so this obscure "Observation Skill" gradually fell out of practice.

This Immortal Skill also includes many linked Divine Powers, one of which allows one to see through poisons.

Cash had opened his mouth ready to bite, but after hearing this, he dared not gamble anymore. He stared at the Immortal Apricot in his hand, readjusting his gaze and muttering, "How can I not see any difference?

Samara’s face changed as she stepped forward and slapped the Immortal Apricot out of Cash’s hand, glaring angrily at him. "Are you trying to poison our Lord?" Cash looked aggrieved, "How could I..."

Samara gave him a stern look, "Then quickly explain it all to the Lord!"

Lord Sun waved his hand not caring for Cash’s distress, little not realizing earlier that he felt something strange about his surroundings, but he couldn’t figure out what it was. After discovering that the Immortal Apricot was poisoned, he looked around again carefully and finally understood it: among the wild grass was a kind of Vine Wildflower, and on one particular flower, a few petals were missing.

Lord Sun had been observing this Farm at close range. He had already understood some of the rules within this small boundary of the One Heaven realm. It’s similar to a common saying in the Lower Realm: "Where poisonous snakes reside, an antidote can be found within seven steps."

Whether this idea is accurate or not, it reflects a sort of "mutual constrain" rule. The same goes for the small-scale rules within the One Heaven realm. Near dangerous farms, there are indeed some inconspicuous items. If one found the correct usage, it could neutralize the danger lurking in the farm.

The Vine Wildflower behaves in the same way; although it’s not poisonous, when its juice fuses with an Immortal Apricot, nothing changes on the exterior, but the apricot becomes an intense poison that could kill an Immortal King-level powerhouse!

Cash felt like he was willing to reveal his innermost heart to Lord Sun because he knew that Lord Sun was the team’s great opportunity. If his rashly presented compliment had caused Lord Sun to become suspicious of the whole team, then he would be the biggest offender in the team.

Lord Sun paid no attention to Cash’s urgency but instead asked Samara, "Do you have any enemies, or perhaps have you offended anyone recently?"

The poison was placed near the farm, obviously not a trap for Lord Sun, but for Samara.

Samara thought carefully and listed a few of her enemies: "But none of these people have the ability to find our farm."

Her enemies are all just common folks in the Cloudtop Market. While they held some influence there, they absolutely lack the capability to track this place down.

Lord Sun also frowned; could it actually be targeted against him? Many people in the Six Armies knew that Lord Sun was coming to the One Heaven...

Cash suddenly recalled something, "Sis, do you remember that Desolate Dragon Beast? We discovered this Immortal Apricot Tree because that Desolate Dragon Beast intruded in and greedily ate those apricots. Could it be that someone was attempting to hunt that Desolate Dragon Beast?"

Something clicked in Lord Sun’s mind: "The Desolate Dragon Beast?"

The Heaven Realm consists of many powerful Immortal Beasts that couldn’t be classified into any category and hence were collectively called Desolate Dragon Beasts — not that they necessarily hold Holy Dragon blood.

However, any creature that can be referred to as a "Desolate Dragon Beast" is powerful its combat strength lays above that of an Immortal King.

Lord Sun abruptly shouted, "Not good, quickly get into the Farm!" Everyone was confused, but obediently followed Samara in, quickly concealing themselves within the farm.

A certain distance away, separated by spatial dimensions and impossible to sense, a squad was resting within a vast grassland.

The team’s armor was bright; equipped with powerful Immortal Artifacts and Immortal Device mounts, their elite status is not inferior to the "Six Armies" where Lord Sun served. Among the three commanding generals, an exceptionally powerful Immortal King radiated immense divine might, indicating that he had at least four Dao Dings!

The King’s face was solemn, and a deputy beside him joked, "General, rest assured. We have prepared thoroughly this time and won’t let that Binding Seal Beast escape."

...

Hiding in the farm, Lord Sun suddenly felt an earthquake in the void layer above. With a thunderous roar, an incredibly enormous beast, ignoring all dangers within the One Heaven, forced a path through space and dashed into the dangerous zone of the Immortal Apricot Tree.

"Just as I thought..." Cash muttered softly.

In Lord Sun’s eyes, a brilliant flash leapt out, seeing on the body of the giant beast, there were more than a dozen ancient-looking chains. As it rushed forward, the chains floated behind it. One of the chains even had an enormous treasure seal of ten-stature tied to its end.

Too bad, it was the color crimson.
