Chapter 1771: Chapter 643: The Divine Water Moat_2
The premature return of the Heavenly Palace woke all gods up, but not a single Divine Lord had fulfilled their duties! It completely disrupted their arranged scenery. Therefore, once these deities regained their divine consciousness and saw the situation within the Heavenly Palace, their first reaction was that of horror: what unexpected incident could have occurred leading to such a massive change?
Several years ago, the Divine Lords had collectively peeked into the future and supposedly ruled out all possible "unexpected variables"!
Then, they discovered something in the Ancient K. Prison of the Heavenly Palace, and upon close inspection, they nearly jumped out of their skin: at the core of this imprisoned object was a Divine Lord’s soul!
This happened to be one of the Divine Lords who had peeked into the future, prepared countermeasures and planned to lead the other god kings back. His divine soul must have been hidden extraordinarily well! How did it end up like this?!
Subsequently, they found out that a new owner had taken over the temple that was initially under this Divine Lord’s jurisdiction. Enraged, the gods realized: this was the unexpected variable! He had ruined our contingency plans! The gods, in loyalty to their own Divine Lords, decided to attack him collectively.
Just then, several Immortal Venerables used their divine powers to scrutinize the Heavenly Palace. The gods instantly grew anxious; they had just returned and were still relatively weak, like newborn infants, how could they possibly stand up against the Immortal Venerables? Yet, as they trembled, the Lord of Divine Water suddenly emanated an aura of intense disgust. This single emotion was enough to shield the entire Heavenly Palace, repelling all of the Immortal Venerables divine powers!
The eyes of the gods brightened: Such godly power, even the several Divine Lords at their peak, could not be as lavish as this!
They needed shelter when they were weak, and since the Lord of the Divine Water was willing to protect them... the gods settled down. They respectfully cultivated in their own Divine Palaces, absorbed Faith mental power continuously willing to follow Divine Water Master and accept his leadership.
The Heavenly Palace has already returned, and we have found shelter- wasn’t that the several Divine Lords’ plan all along? It seems their plot was successful, right?
As for whether or not the Divine Lords could return, and how the relationship between them and the Master of the Divine Water unfolded, they didn’t care. Their loyalty to the "Divine Lord" was unchanging. He was a Divine Lord, and there was no reason to exclude him just because he was new to this. It would be wrong to mistreat newcomers; as deities, they must not make such mistakes!
A few gods, driven by curiosity, secretly used their divine powers to probe into the Lord of the Divine Water, only to find him immersed in deep and profound mysteries. Even with their divine perspective, it made them feel overwhelmingly awed, a feeling none of the previous Divine Lords had ever brought about.
This one was even more formidable than the previous Divine Lords!
...
Little Loach was experiencing a strange sensation, it could see everything in the Heavenly Palace and observe the whole Upper Realm through the Palace. It goes without saying that all believers of the Lord of Divine Water in the Lower Realm were within its vision.
However, it felt as if there was a barrier of sorts separating its senses from these visions. Although it could easily penetrate this "barrier", it wasn’t exactly comfortable with the idea.
Mr. Sun also realized that he could operate through his younger brother and therefore could control everything that belonged to the Lord of Divine Water!
When he was the River God, Mr. Sun couldn’t do this. Mr. Sun pondered and realized: it’s probably because the River God faith was not complete, or rather, during that era, the Divine Path was broken and hasn’t yet been restored to a complete system.
Mr. Sun can now borrow the power of the Divine Lord!
Divine Lords rank parallel to Emperor Venerables and can suppress even Immortal Venerables single-handedly. But what Mr. Sun is focusing on now is not these potent divine powers or capabilities, it’s the realization that the Divine Water Master can see and control everything about all his believers. Now that the National Master is also a follower of the Divine Water Master, and an important one in the Eight Desolates World at that...
Mr. Sun rubbed his chin: "Hmm, hmm, hmm..."
Emperor Donahue appeared outside the Heavenly Palace. His immortal body was extremely gargantuan, flanked by a powerful and profound Dao melody. Behind him was a separate void, with three "Dao Fruits" forming in the middle. Dressed like an ancient emperor, he wore a crown robe and held a Dao weapon that embodied several authorities. His entry into the domain of the Heavenly Palace meant challenging the principle of the Upper Realm where both immortals and gods exist, leading to a distortion of the Upper Realm space and the constant eruption of terrifying phenomena.
The Immortal Country was thrilled!
The immortals felt they had suffered a major setback and hoped that with the power of Emperor Donahue, the situation could turn around, the Heavenly Palace would be broken into, and thrown back into the chaotic void.
Exactly what Emperor Donahue intended. Step by step, he pressed towards the Heavenly Palace, each step causing more intense tremors, with a horrifying force poised against the Heavenly Palace.
Little Loach was quite unhappy. Here to cause trouble? This is already my third shift for the day, and I’ve never been this diligent. Now you’re making me work a fourth shift?
But suddenly, Mr. Sun took control. It’s been a while since Mr. Sun has taken charge, as they were no longer in the Extinct Village, struggling together for survival.
But Little Loach didn’t resist at all. It was great that his brother wanted to take over, especially since it was feeling quite lethargic at the moment.
Mr. Sun saw through Little Loach’s eyes "everything" in the Upper Realm and then, with a thought, brought forth an enormous faith mental power from the Lower Realm.
