Lord Sun’s attention was mostly on Jason Gourd. Without looking at the demon being, he raised his hand and the Commander’s Token rose high and smacked down!

The demon being flapped its wings to stir up a gale, charging forward with bared teeth and claws. The forceful smack on its head drained all its death energy, causing its flowers to wither instantaneously. The demon being’s massive body crashed onto the ground with a thud, creating a huge pit!

After the Commander’s Token knocked down the demon being, Lord Sun waved his hand again, opening the small Spirit Fire World which was finely controlled and sized to the right fit to accommodate within the demon being.

In the mini-world, an elder appeared faintly. Three fire dragons sprang up and spewed flames, bundling the demon being layer after layer. The Southern Separation Heavenly Fire surged up from below, reducing the demon being to ashes in moments!

After packing up the mini-world, Lord Sun observed that world carefully through Jason Gourd’s Thousand Doors Eye. After repeatedly sending a few beams of radiance with the Thousand Doors Eye, Lord Sun realized that this was not a complete world.

The Gourd Vine Immortal Rope extended again, and the radiance from the Thousand Doors Eye moved further away. The void portal started shrinking, and Lord Sun didn’t have much time.

The world appeared more like an Extinction Domain, filled with death energy. There were numerous types of plants, but all were twisted and grotesque due to the influence of death energy. The earth was a patch of grey-black - the result of death energy influence - revealing fleshy lines that resembled giant earthworms.

A few feeble wandering souls roamed above the earth. There was even a ’food change’ among them; higher tiers preyed on lower ones, swallowing them whole and incorporating their bodies as part of theirs. There even were some wandering souls who, after the skeletal structure on their body was damaged, started hunting, often replacing that part with lower-tier wandering souls.

The majority of wandering souls in this world were Tire-4 and below. A Tire-5 could have dominance in a region while a Tire-6 could be the king. Lord Sun figured that this Tire-7 could be the most powerful entity in this world.

The void portal rapidly shrunk and Lord Sun raced against time to retract the Gourd Vine Immortal Rope, finally managing to bring back Jason Gourd before the portal closed completely.

In that short duration before, Lord Sun didn’t find an ’exit’ in that world, which meant that the world possibly was a separate, isolated ’Extinction Domain’.

"The power level isn’t too high..." Lord Sun muttered, then realized his bias. The power cap of Tire-7 isn’t low! Prior to the Origin Resurgence, the power cap in Eight Desolates World was limited to Tire-6.

Lord Sun waited for one more day, and on the second night, he yanked out a giant insectoid demon being resembling a praying mantis from the void portal, sending Jason Gourd over to inspect this world. This world had only demon insects but no demon beasts. The demon insects were equally formidable, having a power cap of Tire-7.

On the third night, a Tire-8 came. Lord Sun didn’t dare to trifle with it and waited for the Tire-8 demon being to leave. He grabbed a tiny window of opportunity to just get a glimpse of it by sending Jason Gourd over.

"It’s quite likely that these spaces are isolated compartments but why do these spaces have a direct void channel to Burning Hillock?" Lord Sun was puzzled.

"These demon beings that were sent over possibly were the most powerful in their respective worlds. Could it be that these worlds exist because of the Burning Hillock? As long as there are creatures reaching their power caps, they would be sent to Burning Hillock?"
