With that thought, Sun Daren let out a deep sigh and changed direction, heading towards the Summit Metropolitan Office. He decided to take his sister to the Capital for a visit.

Verna had been staying at the Summit Guard Post all this time because the backyard was full of delicious ingredients.

In recent years, the Guard Post had grown into a stone fortress overlooking the River, more imposing than many Prescott Group branches. The only constant was the small courtyard where Sun Daren had lived.

"Elder Brother!" Seeing him, Verna joyfully rushed over, and Sun Daren opened his arms to embrace her. One could only say... Verna’s momentum was just as strong as it had been back then!

Fortunately, elder brother wasn’t someone easy to fluster!

Sun Daren shook his head gently, as Verna’s every request at the Summit Guard Post was immediately answered. In no time, a procession of hunted animals was sent back, and Verna carefully picked through them. She mixed various ingredients together and made a big pot of food for her elder brother.

Owen Bertram finished his meal in one breath and let out a satisfied burp. It was then that he spoke to his sister: "Pack up, I’m taking you on a trip to the Capital."

The trio’s eyes sparkled. The Capital sounded great - there were so many delicious things to eat!

This time, Sun Daren only took the three sisters and didn’t inform any subordinates. With his flying magic, it took him only a day to reach the gates of the Capital City. Without entering the city, he first took the trio to a riverside restaurant outside the city walls and enjoyed a splendid feast. While they were eating, Andrew Oamond arrived with a group of Military Officers and escorted Sun Daren back to his lodging.
