Chapter 1153: Chapter 543: Beast’ear Mountain (Part 3)_3

Owen Bertram hung up the call for the second time. Santa felt a sigh well up within him; times had indeed changed! Nowadays, youngsters did not have genuine respect for their elders, always trying to put them in a spot.

We’ve gone this far and now he’s saying "pretend I didn’t say anything"? Bloody hell, be clear, would you? He’s left me hanging...Santa activated the Communication Talisman again and asked Owen Bertram one question: "Where?"

Owen Bertram chuckled in response: "Beast’ear Mountain."

Santa left Ethereal Devin and company behind, invoked the Spirit Fire Power, and immediately rushed towards Beast’ear Mountain. The Spirit Fire Power was swift, so there was no need to worry about being late.

Once Owen Bertram had called upon his two powerful reinforcements, he proceeded leisurely into Beast’ear Mountain.

He flicked the Divine Insect with his finger: "You go ahead."

Berry discovered that the so-called "bow" on his back had been untied and the "gold wire" constricting his insect feet had been loosened. But now, this wire was wound around his neck! Owen was leading while holding the other end of the wire, asking him to go first.

This dude had the audacity to treat him like a pet dog when he considered him a brother!

"What do you mean by this?" Berry was not pleased. Despite his light-toned voice, Owen replied calmly, "Remember to behave."

Berry: ...

He was very tempted to expose his identity right at that moment! Just to see how embarrassed Owen would be! But then he realized that he himself would feel very awkward. He chose to endure this for once and quickly crawled into Beast’ear Mountain with the rope tied around him.

Since the infusion of Divine Rhyme, Berry’s body had undergone huge improvements, and his speed was now on a par with spirit dogs.

Inside Beast’ear Mountain, between two of the tallest peaks, in a deep valley, drumming sounds were heard. Hundreds of devout believers, led by dozens of witches, were continuously praying and bowing to an ancient stone temple with chants in their mouths.

A ring of huge firepots was lit around the valley, illuminating the whole area.

Where the stone temple had been transported from was unclear. It was both wide and high, about 15 feet on each side, carved out from a single rock. The Divine Venerable Totem inside was also a part of that rock.

Many strong stone-chain sculptures were extended from the base of the stone temple to tie it to a big base in the middle of the valley. The base seemed to be cast in black iron, deeply rooted in the valley.

As the believers and witches continued their worshipping, the three witches who were leading them held the True Spirit Totem high above their heads. An invisible force was drawing the True Spirit Totem up to fall into the stone temple.

Followed by a hum, divine power poured out of the stone temple like a tide. The Totem of Divine Lord awakened!

Circles of treasured flames emerged from the Totem of Divine Lord, and then, as if like clouds and mist, dazzled outward. All the believers could feel an enormous consciousness descending.

Berry charged forward as though a fierce dog, which caused Owen to stumble. Annoyed, he pulled the rope: "Stay calm!"

"The Ancient Gods are appearing..." Berry said.

"It’s not the right time." Owen said: "The Divine Lord has not yet fully returned to the stone temple. If we rush out now, it might get scared and hide away, we’ll never find it again."

Berry was somewhat anxious but he was helpless since the rope was held by Owen around his neck. In his mind, he swore: Wait and see, I’ll tell Uncle and Master Basil, you bullied me too much!

In front of the stone temple, the old man walked step by step towards the temple with tears in his eyes after getting cues from the three witches. He knelt deeply before saying his wish: "I pray that in my wife’s next life, she will be wealthy and not suffer in this human world."

A light mist arose from the Divine Lord’s Totem, and in a whoosh, the old man was enshrouded.

The followers and witchers who were down kept praying and praising.

Owen jerked the rope: "Let’s go."

The Gourd Vine Immortal Rope could extend infinitely. Owen killed his way in with the Divine Insect. In Owen’s hands was the Ice and Snow Divine Sword, but he was showing some restraint. However, Berry did not care for such things and rushed straight towards the stone temple!

The Divine Rhyme enveloping Berry made the believers and witchers hesitate. But upon seeing that the "Divine Insect" had opened its mouth, releasing something similar to a bird-catching cage rushing towards the stone temple, everybody shouted in unison: "Desecrators of God! Kill them!"

Supporters and witchers surged forward, and three unisex witches combined their strengths to demonstrate the strength of the Sixth Great Realm.

The "bird-catching cage" spat out by Berry whooshed and released countless mystical colors, all entwined with the stone temple. First, it weaved a cage of radiance, enveloping the entire stone temple.

A burst of bright light exploded from the Divine Lord’s Totem, tearing violently at the cage. The cage was not able to confine it!

The entire stone temple began to sway. Powered up by a huge divine force, it was elevated and looked all set to break away from the chains and fly away.

Berry was flustered. Capturing the Ancient Gods single-handedly was indeed impossible. He yelled: "Owen Bertram, if you don’t make a move now, when will you?"

In such a tense moment, Owen chose to ignore the fact that "this fellow knows the real name of this officer". The three unisex witches who were attacking him were merely striving to achieve the fighting prowess of the Sixth Realm through artificially harnessed divine power. They were nothing compared to him. Owen swung his sword, and the Tire-7 Ice and Snow Divine Sword radiated a giant ice-blue glow, directly blasting the three witches off their feet.
