Chapter 1105: Chapter 527: Little Vest_1
Santa mysteriously vanished from sight, a fact that filled Sir with regret. Nevertheless, he tried to communicate with the Demon Egg Phantom inside the Tier-7 Dragon Ship.
This time, even the Demon Egg Phantom expressed a clear objection. The Demon Egg Phantom, though unable to speak, would surely complain if it could: I’m already dealing with nearly Tier-7 Mechanism Insect Nest and a high-level Tier-7 Dragon Ship; what more do you expect from me?!
Tier-8, what are you thinking?!
Sir seemed a bit disheartened. The idea of combining the Mechanical Insect Nest, the Tier-7 Dragon Ship, and the Flying Sword Giant Beast was fascinating, stirring up a storm of feelings: What form would that take? The dragon ship made completely of flying swords, no longer releasing mechanical insects, but sword-winged mechanism bugs!
However, being continually rejected, he felt compelled to temporarily set aside this daring concept.
During their rescue mission for Santa, they had already bypassed the territory of the Flying Sword Giant Beast. Ahead laid a shattered land, with numerous fractured lines intertwining, a towering colossal beast statue crumbled into more than a dozen pieces scattered across the ground, each piece bristling with lances!
After countless years, not a hint of rust blotted these spears, although its once intimidating cold luminescence had faded, silently laying within the Ancient Annihilation Domain.
"This wall of weaponry, the last circle of defenses then, why did it meet its end together with the giant beast statue?" Owen Bertram descended lower. The open mouth of the gigantic beast statue was empty, and the whereabouts of the once Tier-9 Flying Sword was unknown.
"Getting here means we are not far from the Void Channel."
Sir became even more alert, fully activating Tier-7 Dragon Ship’s defensive power, and raising the three Chain Lock swords on the stern of the ship. They roared to life, providing protection to the ship.
Sir abruptly realized: "The killing intent around us is growing stronger." Even in the surrounding void, faint black clouds, formed by condensed violent energy, can be seen.
"But why can’t I sense the power of the Astral Void?"
The closer they got to the once Void Channel, the stronger the oppressive and deadly aura. Their previous assumption was that the Heavenly Track Reversal disaster had fractured the Void Channel, possibly attracting the might of the Astral Void, augmenting the strength of the Artifact Demons in the vicinity.
The inference made sense, yet there was no violent power from the Astral Void around them. Moreover, the spatial structure as a whole was extremely stable!
"Something’s off!" Nick Liam raised his arms and slowly rose from the deck of the dragon ship. Giant runes displayed on his fingers projected gigantic shadows, illuminating the surrounding void from different angles.
The void responded, though it was lightly trembling, it remained extraordinarily stable.
Nick Liam shook his head: "Within a thousand-mile radius, there are no weak spots in the void."
Tamsin Macy initially intended to keep her skills to herself but upon seeing the demonic creature showing off, she disregarded her safety and jumped down from the dragon ship, landing with a thud on the already broken ground, creating a huge crater.
Sir watched from above the dragon ship, only seeing a deep crater obscured by dust, unable to distinguish Tamsin’s figure.
Tamsin, with a gently falling fist, pressed on the earth beneath. A light golden wave spread along the fissures of the ground. Between these fissures, it was as if streaks of golden lightning formed, blinking outwards, reaching far beyond the naked eye.
"Found it!" Tamsin Macy stood up - A real tough cookie! She was taller than the crater she had made.
"Sir, follow me!" She sprinted on the huge ground, a hundred feet at a step. Owen Bertram immediately controlled the dragon ship to swoop down, following her at a low altitude, warning her, "The demons here are extremely formidable, be careful."
While Tamsin was apprehensive, she mustered courage to continue her path, "Don’t worry, sir, I’ll be careful."
Just as she finished her words, fifty miles ahead, the vast ground suddenly turned into piles of powder-like ash, collapsing. In the midst, a large, blurred shadow emerged with an overwhelming force!
Tamsin sprang back swiftly, tumbling onto the Tier-7 Dragon Ship.
However, the large shadow within that pile of dust was not aimed at Tamsin. That thing gave a hefty shake, the broken earth trembled, and a massive Fire Ring was pulled out of the ground!
"Howl-roar!"
After a thunderous roar, Owen and the others finally saw clearly that the huge shadow was a monstrous Metallic Gigantic Python. Its body comprised primarily of a magical whip, fused with numerous chains, swords, armor... and a variety of magical tool parts whose uses they couldn’t comprehend.
It was a Tier-8 being and seemed likely even more powerful than the previous Flying Sword Giant Beast.
However, its sturdy body was tightly wound in the Fire Ring. The Fire Ring contained six types of Spirit Fire, its main body composed of three Tier-8 Pure Fires, aided by three Tier-7 varieties.
Therefore, even though the Magical Instrument Giant Python was formidable, it couldn’t fully shatter the Fire Ring, at most pull it out from the ground.
The six varieties of Spirit Fire in the Fire Ring rotated counter to each other. Amid the rushing and whistling sound of the wind and fire, the Giant Python’s body was rapidly eroded. The Giant Python was in extreme agony because the Fire Ring’s real damage to it was not its body, but one of the Tier-8 Pure Fires within it. It possessed a special divine power that could obliterate its spirit!
