Chapter 1048: Chapter 511: Foreign Evil Spirit_4

Owen Bertram’s eyebrows furrowed, a trace of divinity from the "River God" causing him to inherently feel an immense revulsion towards these odd beings.

Santa was also considerably taken aback, with flames gushing forth from his body; he hollered out loud, "Foreign evil spirits! You’ve actually slipped in here, what on earth has happened to the Heavenly Palace?"

He sprung into action, wielding his fire staff energetically and unleashing streams of crimson flames. Under the scarlet flames, the "Foreign Evil Spirits" were instantly reduced to ashes. Santa didn’t stop there; he shouted at Owen Bertram, "Give it your all! We cannot let these things establish the ’Mirror World’ in the real world!"

Owen Bertram took a deep breath and resolutely raised the Stone Cone, sensing intuitively that this was far from trivial!

As he threw down the Stone Cone, three consecutive forceful waves of Origin power rolled out. The first layer blasted away the foreign evil spirits, the second disrupted their connection with the Mountain God Temple, and the third layer shattered all the foreign evil spirits in mid-air!

Winston and Oliver Archibald subtly withdrew, their respect for Mister Bertram burgeoning. The foreign evil spirits that Santa vanquished with his mighty divinity were less than twenty percent of those obliterated by Mister Bertram’s single strike...

With a weird cry from Santa, he looked at Owen Bertram with surprise, then turned to gaze at the Stone Cone in his hand. Finally, a smile spread across his fiery face, "Well, it indeed is the Origin Resurgence, the Human Race Great Saint Supreme treasures are awakening."

He said to Owen Bertram again, "Focus on breaking down the Mountain God Temple, leave these foreign evil spirits to me!"

Originally, Owen Bertram planned to incite Santa to fight fiercely with the Mountain God Temple, but times have changed, and now is not the time to be lazy. These foreign evil spirits gave him a feeling of extreme danger, so he subconsciously decided: He won’t let a single one escape!

Mister Bertram nodded at Santa, his whole being rising mid-air, the Stone Cone targeted at the Mountain God Temple.

More foreign evil spirits rushed out from the Mountain God Temple, heading toward Mister Bertram with their endless mutterings. Although unable to fly, they started to build steps like a swarm of ants, rising higher and higher to reach Mister Bertram in an instant.

Santa roared, but before his wave of fire could burst forth, the foreign evil spirits launched a counterattack, entangling him and momentarily trapping him!

Mister Bertram raised the Four Gourds with a cold snort.

The Gourds soared into the sky at a tilt, their mouths opening to release two Sword Pills.

Slap—

With one strike from the Sword Pill, the staircase the foreign evil spirits had built was immediately shattered. A Fire Pill followed suit, sprinkling a large amount of Eight-Tire Pure Fire!

Whoooosh! The flames twined around the scattered Foreign Evil Spirits, reducing them to ash.

"Roar!" Amidst Santa’s roaring, he broke free from the encirclement of the foreign evil spirits and wielded his fire staff with full force. Each stroke brought forth true flames, beating the foreign evil spirits.

Upon noticing Mister Bertram’s gaze, Santa’s face tingled with heat. He hurried to reassure, "I let down my guard for a moment; this won’t happen again!"

The old fire monkey was a man of his words. He chanted some sort of ancient spell, as his whiskers burned and extended with the flames around him, transforming into nine rivers of flame encircling the Mountain God Temple! Any foreign evil spirits that emerged would instantly be engulfed by a descending river of flame.

Mister Bertram focused all his power, his domain expanding, encompassing the entire Mountain God Temple!

However, the drop of his mighty authority nearly shattered Mister Bertram’s boundary - under the "judgement" of his will, the entire Mountain God Temple was filled with horrifying "crimes," far beyond the extent of his current ability to judge!

Mister Bertram drew a deep breath, relying on the Stone Cone in his hand to prevent his boundary from breaking. That passing instant held unimaginable danger, he was one step short of a complete "breakdown".

He quickly switched between his various authorities, then was delighted to discover one that was especially handy within the Mountain God Temple: Radiance!
