Because the count was annoyed but didn’t want to just let her go, he brought her to their house in the dark forest where they held the children they kidnapped. The room in the back of the house soon became hers from then on.

They had only given her just the necessities like water and food. She was always kept in the dark since the count realised it seemed to have made her silent and more calm. Because, when in the dark, no one would even know someone was there. However, if the light fell on her room and she saw something, she would scream and just attack anything.

Basically, like a thoughtless puppet, her life still hanged despite losing all the hope for a normal life from then on.

However, the counts used her as a way to scare off the disobedient children they brought there.

They put those children inside her room so they get scared of the dark or the crazy woman who aggressively attacks anyone that is around her whenever she feels like hurting someone.

The children that went inside most of the time, got hurt really bad with her biting all over as it was the only way she could actually hurt someone. However that day, Felix for whatever the reason, ended up facing a totally different thing from others.

Apparently, a henchman of the counts always stood by the door just in case things got too aggressive.

So was that day too. He was there from the morning because that morning, there was another kid who was pushed inside. Yeah, that kid was Lucas. But Lucas managed to hide well.

When that man realised what weird thing was happening to the new kid, he ran away to notify the count.

During those few minutes he was gone, the other man came and opened the door.

He was actually a new guy. He was only ordered to ask the man by the door to let the kids out.

But, no one was there by the door, so the new guy entered the room not knowing how he had to be careful.

The light landed on the room with the door opening making a clear view for the woman. She immediately attacked him while Lucas dragged away the unconscious Felix. The people that know about this woman’s behaviour wouldn’t leave the door open. They would immediately close the door before the woman could see around.

The new guy got himself in big trouble that way, not having any idea about any of those things.

It was at least not the worst since she didn’t run away and caused another big mess.

When the count came there, they faced a big bloody mess and they were all focusing on immediately pushing the woman inside, locking the room again.

It took some attempts to drag the man outside and settle things just like before. When they inquired him and figured out what exactly had happened, Lucas had already gone far away and the counts gave up going after them because it would be troublesome. Alas, they might get lost in the forest and wouldn’t survive there. They underestimated Lucas and Felix but it was an advantage to them since they managed to take their time to find a way to exit the forest without worrying much.

Count Xander, at that time, dismissed what his sister did to the child. It wouldn’t cause any problems anyway. Now that the kid was gone, he let it go as a normal accident. Other counts actually didn’t know any of that because count djdjdhid hid it from them. He didn’t want others to know about it.

The man who informed him about it was also manipulated by him into believing he heard things wrong just like how he convinced himself. Alas, after seeing the fate of that other man, he forgot about that and was more focused on treating his buddy.

However, it bothered the count again when he found out his sister was pregnant. When he realised it, it was too late to do anything else other than letting the child be born. But no way he would want to raise a random kid.

And, his sister definitely wouldn’t be able to raise the kid either.

He thought of killing the child once it’s born but it would be a big sin to take a life. He didn’t want to take part in such a thing despite having done worse things.

So he plotted to do something different.

This child could be that young heir’s. Because no other man has ever gone near her and might not even go again as she is like a wild animal that attacks everyone. And, from the timing and what that man said he heard, it’s clear.

It was the child of that kid.

So, he should take responsibility.

By that time, he knew Felix was back in his mansion. While the other counts planned and sent one count to apologise to please that child and make him shut up, count sjsdd was secretly plotting how to dump the kid to that boy once it’s born.

No one would know anything and he wouldn’t have to worry about anything.

He plotted what to do for days till the day his sister finally gave birth.

He hid all those things very well from other counts because he didn’t want others’ opinions to get in his way.

No one even knew she was pregnant.

The count didn’t even have any physician attend to her during the birth other than a maid that was trustworthy to him.

She suffered during the pregnancy, and also during the birth, pain and fevers making her weak.

And, unexpectedly, she died in the process of giving birth. She had been in poor health and it took her life away pushing out the baby.

But the count couldn’t even be sad because he was already tired of dealing with her. He was rather happy about her dying. And, he thanked that baby for releasing him from that burden.

He was finally free.

And, he was ready to get rid of the baby too so he would be completely free...
