My Copy System: I Can Copy Abilities Through intimacy
Chapter 18: There’s An Explanation To It

Chapter 18: There’s An Explanation To It

"This won’t be easy," Allen whispered, just a few steps away from the palace. His limbs were shimmering—not just from the shocking revelation, but from Kealion’s looming confrontation and the traitors now following behind him.

Elara and Natasha followed cautiously, their eyes locked on Lilitu and Thalvron, who moved in sync just behind Allen.

The air was thick—not only with tension, but heat. Even the moon seemed to pause in the sky, its pale light casting silence across the terrain as if waiting to witness what would unfold.

The palace walls loomed ahead, proud and immaculate. The silver doors stood shut, elegant like the tail of a peacock. Yet its polished surface did not gleam—it absorbed the night’s light, swallowing it whole.

Allen froze a few paces from the entrance. His predator instincts flared wildly. Something was wrong. The vibrations... the wind within the palace felt distorted. Off.

And then he saw it.

They were being followed.

His system’s voice echoed urgently in his mind:

> [System Alert: Ten Elven threats approaching.]

[Intimacy: Kill all traitors.]

Allen’s gaze snapped upward. A figure was falling—a shadow descending fast under the grip of gravity, its legs charged with brutal intent.

"Watch out!" Allen roared, stumbling back, his eyes wide with alarm.

BOOM!

The being struck the ground with crushing force, the impact breaking stone beneath him. A powerful swing followed, dust spiraling into the air as his glowing white eyes pierced through the cloud.

Elara and Natasha took stance, back-to-back, cautious, alert.

When the dust cleared, it was Kealion standing there—towering, furious, monstrous. His muscles bulged more violently than ever before. His strike had been intercepted. Thalvron had stepped in, his arms crossed to shield Lilitu from the blow that would have turned her into a smear of blood and bone. Each second, his form seemed to grow stronger, his strength rising to match Kealion’s perfect physique.

Then came the others, from every corner of shadow—emerging like wolves drawn to the scent of weakness:

Queen Elizabeth — Throne Queen Number One

Queen Liora — Throne Queen Number Two

Queen Stephanie — Throne Queen Number Three

Princess Clara

Princess Mia

Elder Maxen

Defiled Elder Caelen

Elder Garric

And even Elder Amaterasu

They surrounded Allen’s group, silent and deadly.

Kealion stomped his feet again onto the ground, manipulating the rock Thalvron stood on and launching him high into the sky like a missile.

"Kealion, stop!" Elara cried—but her voice only poured fuel on his rage.

My own daughter calling me by my name and even commanding me...! Kealion roared furiously in thought.

"When men are speaking..." Kealion hissed, vanishing into a blur across the night. "...pests like you should know when to stay quiet!"

"Lightning Bolt," Allen said—not a chant, just an execution. His fingertip flared, a surge of energy blasting Kealion head-on. It staggered the titan momentarily. Elara followed with earth manipulation, a boulder hurtling into Kealion’s chest. It shattered—but it created much-needed space between them.

"TRAITOR!" Kealion roared. Though he skidded backward, not a bruise marked his flesh. His body was still, unshaken. "You brought vampires into our walls! After we accepted you with no formal introduction!"

"I didn’t even believe they existed," Maxen said grimly, "not even after confronting the Demon King."

"Why does beauty always come with a price?" Queen Elizabeth muttered with a sneer.

"Tell me... what was your plan?" Kealion’s voice thundered as the ground trembled beneath him.

"It’s not what you think!" Allen shouted, his aura flaring. "There’s an explanation!"

"Then give it to the devil when you meet him in hell!" Kealion charged again—this time joined by the others. Even Amaterasu moved, though unease painted her features.

I was saving this for later... but I’ve got no choice now, Allen gritted his teeth.

"System... extract ’Fifth Flame’ from my blood. Synchronize it with Lightning Bolt."

> [Command Executed.]

[Synchronization Complete.]

[New Ability Acquired: Hell’s Lightning — SSS-RANKED]

Lilitu stood firm. She had anticipated something... but not this. Yet even now, she never wavered. Thalvron stood in front of her always, like a volunteering shield.

Elara and Natasha stood frozen, their limbs paralyzed in dread—their eyes clearly seeing death approaching.

Just before the full fury of their enemies struck, Allen’s mind mapped every position. A single thought changed the weather, armed by the weather control ability he copied from Lilitu. The skies darkened—not black, not white, but crimson. And in that hellish sky, lightning cracked—not from heaven, but from the abyss.

Allen’s palm dropped.

Lightning obeyed as if he were a choir conductor.

He wasn’t casting it—he was conducting it.

It struck all ten Elves—queens, elders, and princesses alike. Some were knocked unconscious. Others fell groaning. Even the elders reeled, but not much damage was taken.

But Kealion? Barely scratched.

His body was a fortress. Hardened like diamond. Impervious to surface electricity. Only direct damage to his inner body would make him bleed. His exterior skin was synonymous with the metallic, non-electrically conductive nature of a diamond.

The arena gasped in silence.

Even Thalvron stared in awe at Allen’s power. But the danger wasn’t over.

"Bringing traitors into our walls is unforgivable.... you have paid our kindness with selfishness!" Kealion roared, charging forward once again.

Amaterasu didn’t flinch. The strike hadn’t injured her—but the fact that she tasted her own medicine, her own ability—evolved and used against her, stunned her more than pain.

"DON’T MOVE!" Allen commanded—not to Kealion, but to his system.

> [Executing Cursed Word — Level Two Upper: "Don’t Move."]

[Target: Kealion]

[Warning: Target’s power is immense. Curse duration limited to 0.5 seconds.]

[Cursed Word Activated.]

Kealion froze—mid-sprint, one hand raised in fury, mouth wide with a roar. His feet, which could crush mountains, stood rooted to the earth.

That was enough.

Allen vanished. Lightning in his feet. Red light trailing behind him.

He picked up Elara. Then Natasha. Then Lilitu. Then Thalvron.

He moved like a storm, teleporting through air, distance torn apart by sheer velocity. Tears stung his eyes—not from fear or pain, but from wind screaming past his face. His lips flapped like flags in the sky and his teeth clenched.

When all were safe within demon clan territory, Allen returned to the palace scene.

He left behind a black-burning message written in smoke and floating in the sky:

"The Child Has Been Born!"

And in a blink, he was gone again.

Kealion’s motion resumed—but there was nothing left to strike. Only scorched ground and fading lightning.

The others had seen it only as a red blur—instantaneous, incomprehensible.

Only the smoke remained—writing etched in ash across the sky.

"Another one of your selfish tricks," Kealion muttered bitterly, regaining his posture. "I won’t fall for it."

Caelen and the others stirred, some half-paralyzed.

"Maybe we should’ve given them a chance to speak," Caelen smirked.

"What? I see... You didn’t want to be beaten down again?" Kealion growled, his voice raw with rage.

Even Amaterasu let out a low chuckle.

"When... and how did they escape?" Elizabeth asked, brushing dust from her robes.

"Tch. You’re all useless," Kealion snarled. He stormed toward the palace, pried the silver doors open with brute force, and shoved them wide—still needing to bend low to pass through.

His final words echoed before he disappeared into darkness:

"Use every resource you have. I want their heads. Make sure every street is guarded.... Elves must not fall into the maws of vampires."

Then his mind sharpened with fury:

The Copy System must’ve chosen the wrong vessel. I’ll kill Allen—and give it a chance to choose again.

"Place a bounty on Allen’s head. Post his face everywhere. Whoever brings me his head—man or woman—will sit beside me on the throne... as heir."
