Chapter 46: Chapter 0046: The Flying Wolf Gang Will Wait for You
For a long while, Liu Mengting finally shouted in the car, "Tang Ming, are you planning to commit suicide out of fear of punishment? That person committed suicide, it has nothing to do with you, so don’t have any dark thoughts, okay? Our Liu Family has lawyers who can take care of this for you!"
"Me, commit suicide? Not a freaking chance!"
Tang Ming thought to himself speechlessly and then casually said, "I’m fine, a little poison won’t take my life."
After waking the non-mainstream girl on the ground, Tang Ming directly asked, "Who sent you?"
The girl looked at the motionless Gu Cang in the distance, and the blood at the corner of his mouth, and shook her head: "I won’t tell you, you might as well kill me."
"I wouldn’t be that stupid."
Tang Ming chuckled softly, "Let me tell you, I have a thousand ways to torture you, especially considering that you are a woman, the pain you will endure is beyond imagination."
"What are you going to do?"
The non-mainstream girl was somewhat frightened. She wanted to commit suicide but found that the poison bag was no longer in her mouth. Now, even suicide was impossible.
"What do you think?"
Tang Ming said with a bad smile.
The girl knew that failing the mission meant death upon return; she would rather die now, clean and quick, than endure torture.
She glanced at the Maserati not far beside her, its rear end smashed badly, numerous panels already bent upward, resembling a collection of sharp daggers.
"I can only tell you two words."
The girl slowly regained her strength to attract Tang Ming’s attention.
"Say it."
Tang Ming was on edge.
"Fei Lang."
The girl smiled, eerily: "Will be waiting for you..."
Fei Lang?
Tang Ming was startled! This must be the name of an organization; he seemed to have some impression of it, but it wasn’t vivid. He frowned and said, "Are you with Fei Lang?"
Just then, the girl on the ground rolled to the side, crashing into the rear of the Maserati...
Tang Ming was startled, but it was already too late to react. When he looked up, he saw that the girl’s throat had been pierced by the bent metal plates, blood pooling on the ground.
"Two Death Soldiers, it seems this organization called Fei Lang is not simple," Tang Ming muttered to himself, realizing it was not safe to linger here, so he quickly got into the Ferrari and drove away from the scene.
"Miss, give your dad a call and inform him about this."
Tang Ming knew that a life had been lost. Although he hadn’t killed the person, he still had to let Liu Gaoze handle it to avoid unnecessary trouble.
The mountain road homicide was soon discovered, and within twenty minutes after someone called the police, the officers had arrived at the scene.
A valiant and beautiful policewoman stepped out of one of the police cars, heading straight for the scene. At this point, the area was already cordoned off with police tape, leaving barely enough room for a small car to pass.
At the scene, one body lay on the ground, another was beside the trunk of the black sports car.
Apart from the two bodies, there was a damaged black sports car at the scene. It was clear that this was no traffic accident, but a homicide.
Lin Xue observed for a moment then turned to a uniformed traffic officer beside her and asked, "Who reported the case? Did you get details?"
"The reporter is from a sports car club in the city. According to them, two sports cars were making a bet on the mountain road," the traffic officer replied, holding a notepad and pointing at the sports car, "Then they caught up and saw this scene, so they called the police."
"Were there any participants?" Lin Xue asked again.
"We asked. There were four people in total, one man and one woman in each sports car, and everyone confirmed that the deceased was from the Ferrari, but now the Ferrari is gone, and the man and woman from the Maserati have disappeared too," said the traffic officer.
"Has the forensic expert arrived yet?"
Lin Xue looked at the scene again and asked.
"They’re on their way, we can only seal off the accident site for now."
The traffic officer said, "Officer, the vehicle’s information has been reported, and I believe it will be traced very soon.
"Hmm, remember to notify me the moment you have information."
After Lin Xue spoke, she walked forward just as a police car arrived, carrying several forensic colleagues.
Lin Xue approached with a smile and greeted, "Officer Chen, it looks like we’ll be needing your help again."
"If the beautiful Officer Lin doesn’t find it troublesome, how could we burly men complain? What happened this time, two lives lost, causing such a stir?"
Forensic Chen shook his head indifferently; to him, dealing with bodies had become a routine matter.
"It appears to be a group of street racers. For some reason, they got into a fight, and now we need you forensic experts to examine and let us know the real cause of the victims’ deaths," said Lin Xue as she walked toward the bodies with the forensic team.
The forensic experts quickly set to work, dividing into two teams to examine the bodies. It wasn’t long before the causes of death were roughly determined.
Lin Xue walked over and rushed to ask Officer Chen, who had just removed his gloves:
"Officer Chen, how did they die?"
"The male was poisoned, with a very potent poison that can be fatal within a minute of entering the throat, or even faster," said Forensic Chen as he glanced at the female corpse beside him.
"The fatal injury on the female was in her throat; she was stabbed by the upturned metal sheets in the back of the car."
"Was it homicide, or suicide?" Lin Xue asked.
"We can’t determine that yet; we need to take the bodies back for a thorough examination," Forensic Chen replied before getting in the car, while the others began to transport the bodies away, having finished photographing everything necessary at the scene.
Unable to find the cause at that moment, Lin Xue headed back to the patrol car, planning to return to the police station. Just then, the first traffic officer came over and said:
"Officer Lin, my colleague just called, and we’ve traced the origin of the sports car."
"Oh?"
Lin Xue, interested, asked, "Who is the owner of the car?"
"It’s Ma Gangjian," said the officer.
"Him!"
Lin Xue, of course, knew who Ma Gangjian was; he was the one who had fought with Tang Ming and ended up in the hospital himself.
"Alright, I got it. Continue the investigation and remember to notify me if there are any new leads," Lin Xue said as she got into the police car and drove away from the scene. En route, she gained an important lead via a phone call.
Ma Gangjian’s car was supposedly parked in front of Tianjiao High School. When he was taken away by the ambulance, police had learned that the car by the school gate was the one he had driven there.
"Tianjiao High School? Could this incident be related to Tang Ming?" Lin Xue frowned. "I knew that kid was no good."
The patrol car arrived at Tianjiao High School, where the night was dark, lights illuminated the surroundings, and the ground at the gate was eerily empty except for the lonely figure of a security guard stepping out for a smoke.
Lin Xue parked not far from Tianjiao High School and looked around, just in time to see an old security guard throw away his cigarette butt and walk back into the guardroom.
Lin Xue quickly followed and upon reaching the door of the guardroom, asked, "Excuse me, what happened to the black sports car parked at the school gate? Has someone from the Ma family taken it back?"
