Chapter 390: Chapter 0390: Settling Accounts with the Qin Family

"Swoosh!"

Shen Yan’s body shot out directly and crashed right into the tree previously hit by those two steel needles.

"Huh, what are you doing?"

Tang Ming looked at Shen Yan, who was hugging the tree, with confusion.

"It’s nothing, I just tripped a little," Shen Yan said without turning her head.

"She’s really nuts."

Tang Ming muttered disdainfully, unaware that Shen Yan’s entire face had turned red from holding back the pain since the tails of those two steel needles had penetrated the soft parts of her body.

"Huff, huff, huff!"

With her back to Tang Ming, Shen Yan discarded the dagger and, enduring the pain, pulled out the steel needles from her chest. After calming herself down, she turned to face Tang Ming.

"Hehe, your people have already transferred the money into my account," Tang Ming shuffled his phone and said with satisfaction:

"This old man is all yours now. From now on, don’t come bothering me again, or don’t blame me for not being nice to you."

"Alright, I’ll pass your words along to my superiors," Shen Yan nodded.

"Hey, what’s wrong with your chest?" Tang Ming suddenly stared at Shen Yan’s chest and said strangely:

"Wasn’t your sports outfit all white when you arrived? Why are there two red dots now?"

Shen Yan’s mouth twitched, and through gritted teeth, she said, "This is called trendy, the latest fashion in clothes that change colors. Is that a problem?"

"Oh oh oh, I’ve learned something new indeed, it’s very trendy."

Tang Ming nodded repeatedly and then turned to walk towards the neighborhood, thinking to himself with a weird feeling, "This ’trend’ must be quite painful."

After Tang Ming left, Shen Yan hurriedly helped Yaksha to leave the scene as well.

At night, in a special ward of a sanatorium, a middle-aged man wearing gold-rimmed glasses and a suit looked at Yaksha lying in the hospital bed with a grim expression, while Shen Yan stood respectfully behind the man.

This man was the supreme leader of the Poison Widow Organization, codenamed Shura.

"Yan Zi, you’ve troubled yourself this time."

Shura took a deep breath, looking affectionately at Yaksha, and thanked her.

"Serving the organization is my duty," Shen Yan responded neither haughtily nor humbly.

"Sigh, I didn’t expect Tang Ming to be so tough, even Yaksha, a Three-star Martial Master, failed to complete the mission. You’ve been trying to assassinate him so many times; it’s been tough on you," Yaksha said with a sigh. Originally, he had blamed Shen Yan for being too slow in her assassination attempts, but now that he saw Yaksha’s miserable condition, he realized just how arduous Shen Yan’s task had been.

"Don’t worry, boss, I’ll definitely kill Tang Ming and restore the organization’s reputation," Shen Yan promised solemnly.

Shura was startled and quickly turned to stare at Shen Yan, giving her a serious warning:

"Don’t you dare provoke Tang Ming. Even Yaksha, with the strongest power in the organization, barely made it back alive. If you take action, it’s equivalent to courting death, understand?"

Shura didn’t care about Shen Yan’s life or death, but if Shen Yan’s assassination attempt angered Tang Ming, it wouldn’t be as simple as a loss of fifty million.

"Oh!" Shen Yan nodded, thinking disdainfully:

"I’ve tried to assassinate Tang Ming so many times before; though I haven’t succeeded, I’ve never been captured. It seems that Three-star Martial Masters aren’t that great after all."

"Don’t get any funny ideas; this matter is for me to decide," worrying Shen Yan might act rashly, Yaksha warned her again, narrowing his eyes as he spoke:

"How about this, I give you a task to personally monitor Tang Ming’s every move and report to me regularly. I want to see exactly who this guy is,"

"Okay!"

Shen Yan agreed without hesitation, as if monitoring Tang Ming was what she did every day, so this task suited her perfectly. Besides, working for the organization came with extra rewards, so why not?

Not long after Shen Yan left, Ouyang Xiao, oozing charm, walked over to Shura in her high heels.

"I didn’t expect Shura to end up like this. Do you need me to take action?"

Ouyang Xiao stood beside Shura, looking at the old man in the hospital room, and softly spoke.

"Yaksha is already in such a terrible state, I don’t want to risk you too. Let’s just consider this a setback to avoid a disaster," Shura said bitterly, shaking his head, and then with a glint of cold light in his eyes, he continued:

"However, this matter is definitely not over. Damn Qin Aotian, he swore that Tang Ming was just a One-star Martial Master, but the truth is, he is a powerhouse capable of defeating a Three-star Martial Artist. He was clearly fooling us."

"What do you plan to do?"

Ouyang Xiao frowned slightly, and a shocking chill flickered in her eyes. This deal was negotiated by her, and now that it had come to this, she couldn’t shirk responsibility.

"Go and negotiate with the Qin Family. They must compensate us for our loss. If they dare not pay, then we’ll wipe out the Qin Family,"

Shura stated with a murderous aura.

"I understand."

Ouyang Xiao nodded, didn’t even glance at Shura, and turned to walk outside.

Late at night, Qin Aotian and his two sons sat together in high spirits, drinking and celebrating, all of them drunk.

"Father, now that the Poison Widow’s Three-star Martial Artist has made a move, that Tang Ming will surely die a miserable death. Our great grudge has finally been avenged!"

Qin Haitian called out with a flushed face.

"Although it cost us quite a bit of money, as long as Tang Ming is killed, even if I have to squander all our assets, it’s worth it." Qin Aotian drank down a cup fiercely and said contentedly:

"I want everyone to know that offending our Qin Family has dire consequences."

"Bang!" Just as Qin Aotian finished speaking, a sudden loud noise erupted, and then the villa’s door was kicked open.

"Who is it?" Qin Aotian spun around angrily and looked toward the doorway.

There, Ouyang Xiao, dressed in a tight black leather outfit, stepped into the living room with her boots.

"Ouyang Xiao?"

Qin Aotian stood up with his sons and approached Ouyang Xiao, saying discontentedly:

"What is the meaning of this? Even if you’re here to inform us of Tang Ming’s death, there was no need to kick in the door, right?"

Ouyang Xiao shifted from her previous seductive demeanor to a frosty stance, surveying the three members of the Qin Family coldly before speaking:

"Qin Aotian, your Qin Family has such audacity, daring to mock the Poison Widow Organization time and again. Do you really think we can be bullied so easily?"

"What do you mean?" Qin Aotian looked at Ouyang Xiao in confusion.

"Heh, this chick is really something. The first time I saw her, I wanted to do that to her. If it wasn’t for my current physical state, I would definitely have my fun with her in bed," Qin Haitao, already drunk, leered at Ouyang Xiao and jeered with a sleazy expression.

Hearing this, Qin Aotian quickly pulled Qin Haitao back behind him but didn’t take it too seriously. Although he was wary of Poison Widow, he had no fear of Ouyang Xiao—just a weak woman, after all.

"If today’s matter isn’t handled well, this foul-mouthed fool is undoubtedly going to die."

Ouyang Xiao narrowed her eyes and coldly glanced at Qin Haitao.
