Lin Xue nodded slightly and whispered, "I’ll wait for you at the exit later, I have something to tell you."

Seeing Lin Xue’s secretive manner, Tang Ming also whispered curiously, "What is it?"

"You’ll know when the time comes. I’ll go out first and wait for you."

Though he hadn’t a clue what Lin Xue was up to, Tang Ming didn’t want to offend this policewoman over such a matter.

Tang Ming met up with Xia Wei’er and Liu Mengting among others and briefly recounted what had happened. Then the group started guessing what Lin Xue was up to.

After paying the bill and walking out of the supermarket, Lin Xue was indeed standing at the entrance waiting.

"Why are so many of you together?"

Seeing Tang Ming and the others, Lin Xue grew doubtful.

"Yeah. Brother Tang Ming came with me and Sister Meng Meng to buy stuff for tomorrow’s autumn outing. We’re not going to get caught, are we?"

Li Xiaoli tilted her head and asked.

"I didn’t say I was going to catch him."

"Alright, Tang Ming, come with me to the car. I have something I want to discuss with you alone."

"Sure!"

"Sister Meng Meng, could it be that the policewoman has taken a fancy to Brother Tang Ming and wants to have a car date with him?"

Li Xiaoli speculated with a gossipy expression.

After coughing, Lin Xue handed Tang Ming a small blue booklet.

"It’s not me who’s been demoted. This is something I’ve arranged for you."

This way, since you’re a public servant, the Qin Family should be more cautious. I hope it can prevent them from retaliating against you."

At that moment, her phone rang.

"Miss Lin, where are you? I’m still waiting for you in the security room."

Tan Ruoxi’s frustrated voice came through the phone.

Li Xiaoli tilted her head and looked at Liu Mengting, asking, "Meng Meng, what do you think?"

Liu Mengting said nothing, but a hint of unpleasant alarm arose in her heart.

"It’s really depressing. Just got rid of Xia Wei’er, and now here comes Lin Xue, Tang Ming, you really attract the ladies."

Li Xiaoli lamented helplessly.

"What have you done with Xia Wei’er?"

Tang Ming asked, puzzled.

"Hehe, inviting her to come out today was to make her back off."
