Chapter 156: Chapter 0156: Bury You If You Don’t Tell the Truth
A few minutes later, Tang Ming’s phone rang; it was Liu Gaoze calling: "Tang Ming, the nanny van is now parked at the scrapyard on the outskirts. Get over there immediately and remember to be quick. I’m afraid the longer it takes, the worse it is for them."
"Uncle, don’t worry, I guarantee I’ll bring them back safely without them losing a single hair!"
Having gotten the address, Tang Ming immediately hailed a taxi to the outskirts.
Twenty minutes later, the taxi stopped outside the scrapyard. As soon as Tang Ming reached the gate of the scrapyard, he saw Monkey sneaking up from a distance, staggering over!
This guy was Chen Cang’s lackey, but why on earth was he here now?
Tang Ming’s mind was filled with suspicion as he quickly hid by the wall, waiting for Monkey to approach.
Monkey, carrying something in his hand, looked around sneakily as he entered the scrapyard and then headed straight forward.
Tang Ming darted out from behind the wall, quickly followed him, and as he caught up to Monkey, suddenly reached out and slapped him on the shoulder.
Already on edge, Monkey was stunned by the sudden slap on his shoulder. The items in his hands scattered on the ground. He turned around instinctively only to find Tang Ming, which scared him pale, his legs trembling.
Monkey knew well how formidable Tang Ming was and could imagine just how miserable he’d be if Tang Ming gave him a beating.
"Tang... Tang Ming, what are you doing here?"
Trembling, Monkey asked and glanced around, thinking of slipping away.
"I don’t need to tell you why I’m here, but I’m very curious about what you’re doing here."
Seeing Monkey trying to flee, Tang Ming put his hand on his shoulder and asked with a smile.
"I...I’m just playing here. Since you’re here, I’ll just leave now."
After speaking, Monkey turned to run towards the exit of the iron factory, but Tang Ming grabbed him and glared at him fiercely.
"Tang Ming, I really am just playing here, don’t hit me," Monkey said in fear.
Tang Ming was convinced the guy was up to something and wouldn’t let him off easily. The nanny van’s coordinates were here, and Monkey was here too; there was no way this was a coincidence.
"Spit it out, what are you doing here? Did you kidnap Liu Mengting and the others? If you dare lie to me, I’ll break your legs," Tang Ming yelled and then pretended to throw a punch.
"Don’t hit." Monkey hurriedly waved his hands, begging for mercy: "I live nearby, so I was just strolling here, I don’t have the guts to kidnap anyone."
"Bullshit, do you think I’m stupid? There’s nothing but the scrapyard nearby, no residential areas; where could you live? Or are you a ghost living in a graveyard?"
Tang Ming said angrily.
Monkey turned to look and indeed found nothing but farmland and wasteland nearby, no houses at all. He’d only been focused on lying and hadn’t paid attention to his surroundings; now that the lie had been spoken, it was too late for regrets.
But Tang Ming had a hunch. Monkey indeed lacked the guts to kidnap, but Chen Cang dared to! That guy had the money and the manpower. Kidnapping would be a piece of cake. Previously, Tang Ming had suspected the female assassin, but upon further thought, she had been in a car accident and couldn’t possibly have the energy to kidnap so soon. The only possibility left was Chen Cang.
"That son of a bitch, when I catch him, he’ll pay," Tang Ming thought angrily, his hatred making his teeth itch.
"Let me go, I’m really just strolling around here for fun."
The Monkey cried and pleaded.
Tang Ming, seeing this guy resort to playing dirty, simply slapped him across the face and bellowed, "Spit it out fast, or I’ll kill you, do you believe me?"
The Monkey, covering his swollen face with his hand and with tears forced out, said, "I really didn’t do anything, I’m just wandering around here."
"Still not willing to be honest, huh?"
Tang Ming sneered,
"You should know who I am. You guys laid out so much Poison, and I dared to eat it; I’m someone who doesn’t care about my own life. Killing you, this Monkey, would be a piece of cake. Tell me today, and I won’t make it difficult for you. If you don’t, I’ll bury you alive right away."
Having said that, Tang Ming grabbed the Monkey by the collar and started walking toward the fields outside.
The Monkey was truly frightened now. In his heart, not only was Tang Ming formidable, he was indeed someone reckless. When he got physical, he neither held back nor showed any mercy. If someone really dared to make a move, the Monkey was sure it would be Tang Ming!
Moreover, this guy feared neither heaven nor earth, dared to offend the Ma Family; what wouldn’t he dare to do?
So, the moment he realized he really was going to be buried alive, the Monkey broke down and cried on the spot, begging, "Brother Ming, please let me go. I didn’t do anything. I just went to buy some burn cream for Brother Cang."
"So, that pest Chen Cang is here too."
Tang Ming sneered and said, "Lead me to that dead fly quickly."
"Brother Ming, if Brother Cang finds out I betrayed him, he’ll kill me."
The Monkey shook his head as he spoke.
But Tang Ming laughed and said, "You’re afraid he’ll kill you, but aren’t you afraid I’ll kill you? Besides, how old are you, really, to be running around with dead flies all day long? What kind of things do you do with him? Do you think by following him blindly, you’ll have good days ahead? Let me tell you, with Chen Cang’s temperament, he’ll eventually bring disaster upon his family, and by then, you’ll end up with nothing and share in their misfortune. Think it through for yourself."
The Monkey hesitated, indeed thinking it over. He’d followed Chen Cang for a long time, but other than indulging in food and fun, he hadn’t gained any real benefits. After finishing his studies, whether Chen Cang would still need him was uncertain. Why should he be so devoted to following him?
"Brother Ming, this matter has nothing to do with me. It was Brother Cang who had someone do it, and I was just running errands."
The Monkey explained with a bitter face.
"Fine, once I’ve caught that dead fly, you’ll be free. Don’t hang around with him anymore, or you’ll lose your life sooner or later."
Tang Ming grabbed the Monkey, coercing and frightening him into leading the way.
They stopped and went, and finally arrived at warehouse number 24. Tang Ming, without any sign of alertness, asked, "Is the person inside?"
"Hmm."
The Monkey nodded, and Tang Ming knocked him out with a chop to the neck, then placed him in a corner of the wall.
Only then did Tang Ming quietly make his way towards the warehouse, from where bursts of conversation could be heard, and among them, faintly, was the voice of Liu Mengting.
Tang Ming approached the warehouse door, then slowly pushed it open, slipping inside. Since they were waiting for the Monkey to come back, Xiao Jun hadn’t locked the door, which conveniently worked out for Tang Ming.
Walking into the warehouse, Tang Ming saw Chen Cang blowing air into his crotch, looking obscenely disgusting, while on the shabby sofa next to him, Liu Mengting and Li Xiaoli had their hands and feet tied. There was also a Xiao Jun standing by.
Seeing that there were only these two losers present, Tang Ming quickly relaxed and boldly walked over.
