Liu Mengting looked at the two food enthusiasts’ expressions and couldn’t help saying, "Can you two foodies not get so excited every time someone mentions food? Can’t you wait until we get to the restaurant to be excited?"

"Meng Meng sister, you need to maintain your figure, but we don’t have to. We can just eat to our heart’s content since Uncle Liu is treating us,"

When the car left the Liu Family’s villa, a BMW 3 Series sedan was also parked outside. The car stopped beside the alley, and Liu Fei glanced at his phone before getting out to look for a better signal.

In the car, Li Xiaoli clutched her stomach and pouted,

"I’m so hungry. Can’t we get the steak sooner? The more I think about it, the hungrier I get."

Liu Mengting laughed, "You’re always craving food. Can’t you be more ambitious? Look at Tang Ming, he’s not like you at all..."

However, before Liu Mengting finished speaking, Tang Ming’s stomach growled.

His face flushed with embarrassment, and just as Tang Ming was about to make an excuse, a sudden burst of roaring engines came from the front. They then saw an SUV speeding towards them from the opposite direction, moving very fast and headed straight for their car.

Tang Ming’s eyes sharpened, and he instantly sensed the danger. The oncoming SUV was a Toyota Land Cruiser, its massive body like a land monster. If it really hit them, the framework of their small sedan would definitely be crushed, and naturally, the people inside wouldn’t fare well either.

Given the direction of the oncoming vehicle, the backseat passengers Liu Mengting and Li Xiaoli might not be in much trouble, but Tang Ming, sitting in the front passenger seat, was clearly the target of the oncoming car’s impact.

Drenched in cold sweat, Tang Ming made a split-second decision. He jumped over to the driver’s seat, quickly shifted gears, and accelerated. A harsh screeching noise filled the air as the SUV barely grazed the rear of the sedan and whizzed past, then charged to the back of the alley.

Inside the alley, Shen Yan was slowly following in her car, when out of nowhere, an SUV charged at her crazily fast.

Shen Yan cried out, then swiftly turned the steering wheel, but it was too late. She leaned back as far as possible to minimize the impact of the crash!

A loud noise resounded as the SUV slammed straight into the front of Shen Yan’s BMW.

At this moment, Tang Ming and his two companions got out of their car, still in shock, and Liu Fei ran over quickly upon hearing the commotion.

Liu Mengting, still shaken by the recent events, said with a trembling voice, "That was terrifying, I have no idea how that person was driving."

Fuming, Liu Fei said, "Meng Ting, you stay here with the others, I’m going over to take a look, to see which blind driver is driving recklessly."

Tang Ming immediately advised:

"Big Brother Liu, don’t go over just yet. Since we’re all alright, let’s just leave, or else we’ll have to go to the police station if they show up, and then we won’t get anything done today."

"Yeah, it’s not our business; let’s just go. I’m still looking forward to eating steak."

Li Xiaoli also quickly chimed in, not willing to spend her time bored in a police station.

"Xiaoli, your heart is truly big."

Liu Mengting genuinely admired and said to Li Xiaoli.

To think of eating after they nearly had a car accident, it was a remarkable state of mind that even impressed Tang Ming, who was listening on the side.

Thinking it was the SUV that had crashed into her, Shen Yan walked over in a rage, intent on revenge. However, suddenly from the passenger side, a handgun was extended, its dark muzzle pointed at her.

The person inside the SUV also began to reverse the vehicle while the one holding the gun threatened in a hoarse voice, "We’ve got your license plate number. Don’t say anything foolish when the cops arrive, or we’ll kill your entire family."
