"Really?" The elderly matriarch asked skeptically, her doubting gaze moved from Lin Xiangwan’s face to her grandson’s face.

Xu Feng’e, who loved to stir things up chimed in with a laugh, "It seems like Wanwan is quite doting towards her boyfriend, willing to even risk her life for him!"

Lin Xiangwan looked at him pitifully. "Just for today, let me go out and catch a breath of fresh air, okay? I promise to stay at home tomorrow!"

"We won’t live here for too long; your time to accompany the elderly is limited!" Qin Muchuan retorted.

"Can I go out for half a day? Even two hours will do. I just want to stay outside for a while!" Lin Xiangwan pleaded.
