Qin Muchuan glanced over. There were a lot of men and women gathered there. It would indeed be a struggle to whisk her away by force.

"Alright, let’s head back then!" His expression suddenly fell, and he took her hand, ready to return.

Lin Xiangwan still held onto him. "Actually, going to see the stars is a great idea. As a kid, I used to love star gazing, and I still do!"

"You liked star gazing even as a child?" Qin Muchuan’s voice raised in surprise, his gaze intense.

Lin Xiangwan smacked him. "All children love star gazing, okay?

"In that case, I’ll reluctantly accompany you!" Qin Muchuan conceded, albeit unwillingly.

Lin Xiangwan was rendered speechless. Somehow, he made it sound like she was the one desperate to see the stars.

But his melancholy expression pacified her, preventing her from arguing further.
