Chapter 170 - 170 170 We Also Drive a Luxury Car Now

Zhao Guang hadn’t wanted to make a big fuss, but then he thought about it and realized that a housewarming party was indeed in order.
Not having a celebration would make him seem stingy.
“Alright, but you guys handle the meat.
I don’t have that much; I’ll get the spices,” Zhao Guang agreed.
“I’ll invite some people over.
If the banquet is held here, there probably won’t be many attendees,” Yars said, noting that they were on the front lines where soldiers couldn’t just abandon their posts to attend a party.
“A smaller gathering is fine; it’s not a big deal,” Zhao Guang responded.
Not a big deal, huh?
It seemed he really didn’t value the house much.
That said, it must have been quite cheap.
While thinking this, Yars began to summon people to start the banquet.
Zhao Guang walked over to Xi Fei, “This is how you use it, be careful not to burn yourself.
With this, you won’t need wood fire anymore.”
Indeed, Zhao Guang had brought a gas cylinder along.
This device simply burnt fuel, so it could still be used in this world.
Seeing the gas cylinder that could burn without wood, Xi Fei, the Flame Mage, was utterly astonished.
Most importantly, this device didn’t even have a Magic Crystal Stone embedded in it.
Some magic items could achieve this, but this didn’t seem to be a magic item.
She just couldn’t understand it.
Zhao Guang hadn’t expected that his banquet would last an entire afternoon, and with some unable to leave their posts, they ended up having to rotate attendance which turned the meal into a rolling feast.
By the time all were served, even Zhao Guang felt exhausted.
This really was no job for a single person.
“Finally, everyone’s gone.
Let’s go inside and pick rooms.
I am staying here,” Zhao Guang said once the guests had left and chose a room for himself near the entrance for convenience.
“How could you?
The host shouldn’t stay here; you should be at the highest point,” someone objected.
The highest point?
The house was notably tall at three stories, but why would he want to live so high up?
Besides, moving up and down was inconvenient, and it didn’t suit his plans.
“No need, I’ll stay here.
It’s decided,” Zhao Guang insisted.
Facing Zhao Guang’s decision, the others couldn’t argue and reluctantly remained silent.
“Then I’ll take the room next door,” Xi Fei decided after a moment, pointing to a neighboring room.
“I want the room next to that; I’ll stay on this side,” Jeana claimed the other neighboring room.
The large villa ended up as intimate as a small cottage.
If he had known it would turn out this way, he would have brought a smaller house; it would have saved so much trouble.
Zhao Guang decided to stay in this house for the night since it was all his own effort.
But no sooner had he lain down than there was a gentle knock at the door.
“Come in.
Oh, Xi Fei, what is it?” Zhao Guang started to ask, but his eyes went wide with shock when he saw the situation.
Zhao Guang was dazzled by the white glare before his eyes.
Well, he thought, there’s no harm in secretly enjoying this.
“Master, have you awoken?” Xi Fei slowly opened her eyes, and it seemed there was a new light in her gaze.
Zhao Guang could feel that Xi Fei’s heart was much more at peace than before.
“I am awake; it’s already morning,” he replied.
After driving all night, Zhao Guang felt utterly drained.
“Driving is indeed hard on the back,” he lamented.
Xi Fei quickly got up.
“I’ll prepare breakfast for you, Master.” With that, she darted off like a rabbit.
He hadn’t seen such energy from her the day before when she seemed much braver.
