Mummy Evolution -
Chapter 141 - 141: Cockier Zainah
Two days later.
Zainah stirred, lashes flickering as a soft warmth cradled her body. A sleepy groan escaped her lips. She burrowed instinctively into the arms of the man holding her, breathing in the faint, familiar scent of him.
Sett always had that scent.
That powerful scent she could not describe in words.
Memories of the last two nights flickered through her mind. Him above her, below her, beside her. In myriad positions, with myriad tricks up his sleeve. Her moaning like there was no tomorrow, him biting her ass.
Each moment was vivid.
Especially his cocky grin whenever she reached an orgasm.
Such a hot musk. Does he want to charm me all over again?
"Sett, baby," she murmured, voice thick with drowsiness, "I feel cold."
Without a word, his arms tightened around her, drawing her into the firm plane of his chest. She could feel the slow, steady beat of his heart beneath her cheek.
Heh, that's my personal blanket for you.
"Better?" he whispered, his voice a low rumble.
The memories came back again.
This voice had been the devil that made her want more and more.
Zainah felt herself become a bit restless. Yet, a small, contented hum vibrated from her throat. The warmth of his body truly was more homely than any blanket. She pressed a kiss against his bare skin, lingering there, her breath warming the space between them.
"You are like a kitten," Sett said with a smile. "So cute."
And she was so warm and soft to the touch.
And so damn good looking.
"Kitten?" Zainah looked up, green eyes bright.
Sett looked down at her — messy hair, flushed cheeks, glowing skin. His chest tightened.
She opened her mouth as if to say something...
Hesitated...
And then—
"Meow."
Sett's brain short-circuited.
One second he was melting. The next, he was pinning her down to the bed, a wicked grin spreading across his face.
"Bad kitten," he growled, voice thick with hunger.
Zainah could only laugh breathlessly as his domination began.

"Aii... Sett, you're too rough sometimes," Zainah grumbled, eyeing her reflection in the mirror he had summoned from his Inner Tomb. Her fingers brushed over her skin — her bare body was littered with small, dark bite marks, blooming like wildflowers across her neck, shoulders, and thighs.
Sett, standing a few feet away as he buttoned his shirt, caught her gaze and smiled — utterly unrepentant.
"It looks good on you."
Zainah turned, scowling adorably. "Yeah, to you. What if Zarah sees this, huh? I'll die of embarrassment!"
Sett shrugged, lips twitching in amusement. "You were crying for it last night, though."
The pillow she threw at him hit his chest with a soft thud.
He caught it easily, laughing.
"Idiot!" she murmured under her breath.
"You didn't call me a liar," he teased, voice low, deliciously wicked. "You know I'm right."
Zainah huffed, cheeks pink, and turned back toward the mirror.
"Oh shut up already!"
Sett moved in behind her, wrapping his arms lazily around her waist. She leaned instinctively into his warmth, and together they stared at their reflection — her messy hair, flushed skin, his taller, clothed form wrapped possessively around her naked body.
The sight sent a strange shiver through her.
The sight of her naked body leaning against him was euphoric. And her body, now much more toned due to being a Tomb Raider, also looked so good to her.
I did not used to like looking at the mirror much, right?
Why?
I am quite pretty myself… Why didn't I like it much?
Perhaps because she did not like her own life. Perhaps. But now that she loved her life, she was also loving herself a bit more. When did I start liking how I look this much?
Was it always there... and I just never saw it?
"I'm pretty," she whispered to herself, almost surprised.
Sett smiled against her hair. "You're beautiful."
A tiny smile tugged at her lips.
She caught his hand and slowly guided it down, pressing his palm against the most sacred part of her.
"Do you like it?" she asked, voice low, a mischievous glint in her eyes.
Sett pretended to think, lips curving. "Hmm... no?"
She elbowed his firm abs, laughing softly. "Player."
Sett was smart enough to dodge the question.
"Not a player," Sett whispered, lips brushing the shell of her ear. "I just know my Zainah too well."
Zainah flushed hotter but said nothing, studying their entwined forms in the mirror.
"We look good together," she said after a moment, almost shy.
Sett lowered his head and rested his head atop hers, eyes half-lidded with contentment.
"We look like we were made for each other."
Their reflections smiled — messy, wild, and absolutely capable of charming almost anyone.
Zainah marveled at how natural it felt now.
No shyness. No stiffness.
After sharing everything in bed — the gasps, the moans, the raw, naked vulnerability — what was left to hide?
They had seen each other at their best, their worst... and loved every broken piece.
Sett's hand slid along her waist again, fingers toying idly.
"Hey," Zainah warned with a soft whine, catching his wandering fingers. "Don't start again... I'm sore. You forget your body's sturdier than mine!"
Sett chuckled and obediently stopped. Instead, he helped dress her gently, smoothing the fabric over her skin. He even used a bit of healing magic to ease the soreness from her muscles... but left the bite marks untouched, wearing a boyish grin as he admired them.
Zainah noticed — and glared.
"You're incorrigible."
He only grinned wider, shameless.
As she adjusted her clothes, she pointed a stern finger at him.
"And don't you dare brag about our... secret moments to Zarah or anyone else, got it?"
Sett chuckled, brushing a kiss on her temple. "You're in no place to make demands, my lady."
Zainah narrowed her eyes, voice dropping to a sultry threat.
"Keep running your mouth, and the next time you put that thing of yours in my mouth... I'll bite."
Sett froze.
Visibly appalled.
Zainah smirked — victorious — as he wisely stayed silent.
Hmph, hmph.
Then, she regretted saying that five seconds later when she found herself giving him head again. At least, he tasted great.
This bastard.
