Mrs Hale, I Surrender -
Chapter 132 changed the method to torment her
Chapter 132: 132 changed the method to torment her
Huge floor-to-ceiling windows revealed a panorama of countless household lights and flickering neon. Zoe Bell had eaten something earlier and wasn’t hungry, so at the large dining table, only William Hale and Wyatt Hale were present.
"Sister-in-law, are you really not eating?" Wyatt Hale asked softly.
How could she let him face the abyss alone!
"I’m not hungry," Zoe Bell glanced at William Hale, "Don’t scare Wyatt."
William Hale nodded.
Wyatt Hale appreciated his sister-in-law’s staunch support.
Then, his older brother started to incessantly serve him more food.
"You must be quite hungry, eat more." William Hale’s expression was unchanging, but his hands never stopped moving, and soon, Wyatt Hale’s bowl was piled up like a small mountain.
"Why aren’t you using your chopsticks? Do you think your sister-in-law’s cooking isn’t tasty?"
"No, I’m eating!"
"Is it tasty?"
"It’s delicious, thanks, bro."
Wyatt Hale felt that his brother was probably trying to stuff him to death.
This sudden burst of brotherly love,
was really more than he could handle.
Seeing their "brotherly respect," Zoe Bell felt reassured and went off to deal with her own incense.
When she saw Wyatt Hale again, he was lying on a lounge chair, reaching out to touch his stomach, and, unable to speak ill of his brother, he could only smile and say, "Sister-in-law’s cooking is really too delicious, I accidentally ate too much."
"Then you should come by often."
"I’m really busy with school, I probably won’t have the time," Wyatt Hale replied with a wry smile.
Actually, he was incredibly bored.
Lately, he’d wanted to play video games with Lucas Bell, but Lucas said he was dealing with family matters and totally ignored him.
Utterly bored.
While his classmates were either in love or on their way to it, he was the only one racing down the single lane.
"Sister-in-law, are you making all this incense to sell?" Wyatt Hale casually picked one up, held it to his nose, and took a sniff; it smelled quite nice.
"You wouldn’t use all these yourself, and with your skills, it would be a shame not to open a store."
Zoe Bell looked him in the eyes, "Do you really think people would like it?"
"At least grandma and my mom do. They’ve been using your incense at home. Last time Auntie thought it smelled good and felt too shy to ask you directly, so she got two boxes from my mom."
"I can’t guarantee others, but Auntie is quite picky."
"If she says it’s good, then it definitely is."
Lately Zoe Bell was also considering what to do if she couldn’t dance in the future.
If she could turn a hobby into a business, that would naturally be better.
Opening a store is easy now, just set up an online shop, and you can sell your products across the country or even internationally."
After Wyatt Hale left, she discussed this idea with William Hale.
"Do you think I can start an online shop?" Zoe Bell sought his opinion.
"You can," he said.
William Hale had never thought of keeping her at home; he supported whatever she wanted to do.
"But I have no experience, besides setting up the store, managing operations later on, if there’s no traffic, wouldn’t I need to spend money on marketing?" Zoe Bell had researched this online.
"Do you need me to find someone from the industry for you?"
"No need, I’ll figure it out by myself first."
Then,
Zoe Bell used his computer to start getting the shop ready.
William Hale sat leisurely aside, flipping through documents, but his gaze remained fixed on her. His eyebrows slightly raised, reflecting on her words from earlier. He could not help but smile as his phone vibrated with messages from his friend tagging him in the group chat.
[@William Hale, when are you finally going to introduce us to your sister-in-law?]
[Believe it or not, I might just rush to your house.]
William Hale: [What’s the rush?]
[Eager to meet sister-in-law.]
[Don’t tell me you’re too busy with work.]
William Hale: [I’m not busy, but my wife is starting a business.]
Everyone: [...]
What’s going on?
Could it be William Hale, who is usually consumed by work, married a workaholic?
Late at night, instead of sleeping, maybe both of them are working away.
"It’s late, time to sleep," William Hale closed the document, ready to rest. He had been disturbed by Zoe Bell’s words today and had no mood to work.
However, Zoe was still focused on figuring out how to set up an online store and only gave him a glance, "If you’re tired, go take a shower first. I’ll be right there."
"..."
Boiling a frog in warm water finally had its effect.
Today was worth remembering, and William Hale also secretly thought about doing something together that she liked.
As a result, William Hale ended up lying in bed, waiting for her half the night.
What does this mean?
She had just said she liked him, more than just a little, and then she left him alone in bed?
Is this her way of showing affection?
Zoe Bell had never dabbled with online stores before, and for her, everything was new. By the time she felt tired and went to bed, it was already past one in the morning. She bathed in the guest room and tiptoed into the bed...
Suddenly, a hand reached out from behind and pulled her into an embrace.
"Zoe Bell, you did this on purpose."
"What?"
"Saying you like me, then leaving me hanging."
"..."
Zoe turned over, and in the dimness, their gazes tangled. His eyes seemed to hold an indissoluble dark ink, and his unique breath began to pervasively invade her senses. She could distinctly feel that William Hale was somewhat unhappy.
"You’ve been waiting for me until now?" she asked in a gentle voice.
"I wasn’t waiting for you..."
The last word was only half spoken before it was swallowed up between their lips.
It was Zoe who initiated it.
The kiss was deeply tender and lingering. She had just taken a bath, her body was warm, her lips were soft and hot, and her slender body was pulsating with warmth.
As she moved closer, she transmitted some of that warmth onto his body.
Her indulgence and initiative was undoubtedly the greatest temptation for William.
William Hale understood:
She was cajoling him.
But her kissing was green and clumsy.
He sighed, turned over, pinned her beneath him, and naturally took control.
Invasion, indulgence,
The room was so quiet that the sound of their kissing could be heard.
It was thrilling.
A slight tremble involuntarily escaped Zoe’s lips, a hint of red in her eyes, and William tightened his arm, pulling her even closer into his embrace.
"The doctor said, how many days can’t you engage in vigorous activity after getting a tetanus shot?" William bit her lip lightly.
"About three or four days," she replied.
"That’s quite long," he sighed.
"..."
Zoe clearly understood what he meant, turned over to face away from him, and covered herself with the blanket, trying hard to ignore the strangeness of the man behind her, but William insisted on snuggling up to her.
Her ability to study ballet for so long meant her physical condition was naturally superior.
The perfect proportion of head to body, the same height but with a higher waistline, and long straight legs.
Under the pajamas, so fair,
Exceptionally striking.
William’s breath fell on her neck, holding her leg.
Zoe’s pupils suddenly dilated, he...
What is he doing!
She didn’t resist, allowing him to mischievously lose control.
This love between a man and a woman,
Always had thousands of ways to relieve.
So, tonight she experienced yet another sensation.
Though it wasn’t a rainy day, she felt her legs were incredibly weak and sore. William fetched her a new pajama set and said while looking at the person covered by the blanket, "You bathe here, I’ll go next door to wash."
Only when he left did Zoe poke her head out from under the blanket.
Each day things escalated,
If they didn’t reach the final step soon, she would soon be worn out by him.
