Chapter 99: Don’t Fall

AiLin eyed the Sparrow Nightclub with a wide grin over her face. The bags were being filled inside Li ZiChen’s car and looking on it only made her more delighted. While this could be counted as robbery, the money were never taxed and simply they were money that OuYang laundered to make sure that he wouldn’t be losing a single cent to unnecessary taxes. So even if he cries to the police, they won’t help him. He wouldn’t even be able to cry to them knowing that the money was illegal.

Duffle bags after another filled the back of the black sport car and she was even more delighted when she saw one that was filled with expensive jewelries.

"He must have bought them," she sang with a giggle as she looked over the bag that sparkles with many colored gems. "Gorgeous."

Li ZiChen smiled as AiLin was much chirpier than before. She was on her feet, jumping like a child upon seeing the gift boxes under the Christmas tree. Money was the thing that made her the happiest and it made her more happy as these money were clearly taken from the hands of the people who had hurt her.

"What will you do with the money?" Li ZiChen inquired her who turned and hummed back at him.

"As much as I want to take them all, some of it needs to be given back to the original owner," she patted the heavy duffle bag, "I can’t take something that isn’t mine so willfully."

"But you’ll take his money," he joked and she grinned.

"This one is different," her eyes sparked as she walked toward the car only to see Li ZiChen had pulled it open before her. She met eyes with him, her eyes counting the lines of his lips that caught her attention. Immediately she turned her face away and ducked her head, entering the car and sitting beside the driver seat as Li ZiChen was the one to drive the sport car.

He then sat inside the car, closing the door which turned on the AC almost immediately. She turned her body and removed her heels, pulling her skirt that hampered her movement up to her knees as she removed her heels. It annoyed her to no end when the buckles on the back of the heels refuse to be loosened. She had to bent forward, pulling her skirt higher above her thigh and her upper body bending forward.

Li ZiChen eyed her. His mouth sparse as he watched her cleavage being more accentuated as she bent down. Her pink lips puckered like fresh pink tulips, her smooth thighs milky as if urging him to take a bite.

He turned away and then spoke while staring at the tinted window that still showed him her figure, "Do you want me to help you with it?"

AiLin didn’t think much and she didn’t like things bothering her for too long. If she could pass this problem to someone else she was more than glad to do it, "Yes," and when she said that she tilted her head in question. "But how can you help me?—ah!" She didn’t finish her sentence when Li ZiChen had grabbed the back of her knees. He pulled her toward her leg toward him, causing her upper body to slip up and her head to slide on the car’s window. Her eyes widened as she watched him easily place her feet on his laps. He removed the buckle on the back of her heels, his movement slow as if he was trying to enjoy to moment.

She shivered as her feet pressed down to his laps which unfortunately brought all the memories of what they had done— where she had pressed herself down on him while she enjoyed his reactions and those heavy needy breaths.

His long finger sauntered above her ankles, his nails sharp as it drew a line down to her sole when he removed her red bottom heels. He then slipped the pair of heels to the back of the car while she watched everything while closing her mouth. Only when he stared at her did she realize that she was covering her lower half face as if her life depended on it.

"You," she coughed and slowly pulled her own feet from his laps, her toes suddenly— or maybe not so suddenly— landed on his laps, near the place she shouldn’t have touched. When the edge of her thumb felt the hot rod hidden carefully under that black trousers, a loud gulp resounded in the car.

She looked at him, finding Li ZiChen’s eyes bright her than ever but also delirious.

It took her a while to pull back her leg and sat properly.

While covering her face with her hair, she turned to look at the mirror, only to meet his eye contact that made her more heated, and she pouted, complaining aloud, "Don’t fall for me, Li ZiChen."

She saw how his eyes curved. Gone was those gentle smile only replaced with one that was extremely mischievous, "Mhm be careful AiLin."

She snapped back at him, raising her eyebrow, "I’m surprised by how each day you become more bold."

"What do you mean? I’ve always been this way," he answered. His hand landed on the steering wheel and god forbid that these eyes would look down to his lower half which is what she isn’t supposed to do. "You know FaIn?"

"One of OuYang’s friend, a friend mutual to Jiang NianNian," she responded, "There are others in OuYang group, one is the son of the defense secretary, TaLu. HangZhou, now a famous singer. FaIn had taken his father’s footsteps by working as a policeman. Though that shouldn’t be impressive, his father’s authority is deep rooted that his peers follow all his orders despite his rank being lower than them."

She stared at his face, studying how his eyes didn’t budge, "But you know about this. You also never asked what kind of Video was inside that USB that OuYang kept against me. It’s not that you’re curious but you... knew about it from the start don’t you?"

"No," Li ZiChen responded, "I don’t know most of the story, I only know the gist of how they’re part of the people you wish to punish and the rest is merely a guess. But people had often told me that my guess is always right on the mark. Don’t give me that look AiLin," he said as he chuckled, "I know how uncomfortable you are when someone took control over your actions and that wasn’t what I wanted to do. However, OuYang had always been on my list."

"Hm," she said but she wasn’t exactly convinced. However she needed to say the things that she was holding before she forgot.

Rubbing the back of her neck she then muttered, "About tonight," she stared at him who was looking at the road, "Thank you."

The look of enjoyment rested on Li ZiChen’s face. It wasn’t the look of proud that one would feel after hearing someone thanking you for your action. It was a smile of enjoyment as if he felt rewarded for his action had garnered the thank you that he had wished to hear from her. He then placed on her lap a cold bottle of water, "Get some sleep. The road back home is going to be tiring so you should keep your eyes shut for a while."

AiLin refused in her head at first. She doubted she could sleep. Her emotions were a mess and honestly she thought that she would need some alcohol to ease down all the heaviness she felt in her heart but while thinking so, she had curled into sleep and her eyes had been lulled to close.
