"Don’t worry, I definitely won’t bully your girlfriend."

Wen Han watched Ji Qingluan, his mouth opened but no sound came out. He had rejected Ji Qingluan for his entire youth, and she was still holding on to her feelings. But thinking back, she had never done anything inappropriate toward him. Even when he got married, she was wishing them well. Now facing Su Mu, there surely wouldn’t be any trouble.

Su Mu turned to look at the Wen family and smiled faintly:

"Then I’ll go for a walk with Qingluan."

"Sure."

The coffee shop wasn’t very crowded. They found a corner seat and sat face to face. A waiter came over to take their order. Su Mu ordered a lemonade, while Ji Qingluan chose a black coffee. Hearing this, Su Mu glanced at Ji Qingluan and spoke softly after the waiter had left:

"I rarely see women who drink such bitter beverages."

Ji Qingluan smiled:

"Apologize?" Su Mu questioned, puzzled. "I don’t think you’ve done anything that you need to apologize for."

"Appearing unannounced today, I must have caused you some trouble."

"No, believe it or not, your arrival eased my burden quite a bit."

"Really? But Wen Han’s expression changed when he looked at me, like I was a wolf ready to snatch you away at any moment."

Su Mu smiled without saying a word.

"Su Mu," Ji Qingluan continued, "I’m glad Wen Han has taken this step to pursue his happiness. I once thought he would end up lonely. Compared to his loneliness, I’d rather see him happily spend the rest of his life with someone, even if that person isn’t me."
