Chapter 613: Chapter 611 Did I Forget About You_1

Mu Zixuan stretched out her hand, pinching his handsome face, "You’re so bored!"

Pei Mojing narrowed his long and slender phoenix eyes, "Since you’ve said so, I might as well be thoroughly bored..."

Mu Zixuan raised her eyebrows at him—

Pei Mojing took out his phone, hugged Mu Zixuan, and snapped a few envy-inducing selfies.

Then he added four words: My Goddess.

As Mu Zixuan was about to look, he had already swiftly sent it out.

"OK!" Pei Mojing’s face brimmed with a triumphant smile.

Mu Zixuan chuckled, realizing that this man could be so adorable at times.

Pei Mojing suddenly found his vision blurred by her laughter, his gaze slowly turning intense.

Mu Zixuan suddenly caught a whiff of something ominous.

Before she could struggle free from his embrace, Pei Mojing’s body was already pressing down on her.

Being in the Mu Family mansion was different than being outside; Na Xiaoxiao would under no circumstances share a room with Mu Zisu.

Mu Zisu had no choice but to open the door of the well-kept room next door.

Standing at the doorway, Na Xiaoxiao peered in and, for some reason, fell in love with the pink-themed room at first sight.

She stepped in and the more she saw, the more it felt not like a guest room, but like a girl’s bedroom.

Realizing this, her heart skipped a beat; after dinner, Qiqi had taken her on a tour of the main building.

She remembered that Shanshan and Qiqi’s bedrooms were both on the first floor, so whose bedroom could this be?

"Do you like it?" Mu Zisu stood by the door, tenderly gazing at the graceful figure.

Na Xiaoxiao actually did like it, but after discovering it was a girl’s room, she felt an indescribable feeling in her heart.

"This is..." She turned around, inquiring of Mu Zisu who stood by the door.

Mu Zisu’s deep and unfathomable eyes flickered with a spark, and he chuckled with a lift of his lips, "This is your exclusive room..."

"Mine?" Na Xiaoxiao was puzzled.

"Mmm..." Mu Zisu nodded.

"But before?" She finally voiced the doubt in her mind.

"This room, only you may live in..." Mu Zisu’s expression was resolute.

Only she had lived next door to him, here and in Canada before, and it wouldn’t change in the future.

Na Xiaoxiao sighed with relief; perhaps, she could now be certain that she had lived in this room before.

With this realization, she liked every corner of the room even more.

"I really like it, thank you..." She said with a smile in her eyes.

Mu Zisu helplessly smirked, "You don’t have to thank me in the future..."

Na Xiaoxiao chuckled, "Alright..."

"Hmm... get some rest early..." Mu Zisu nodded, raising his hand gently to close the door.

One door immediately separated them into two different spaces.

Na Xiaoxiao stood still for a moment before carefully making another round in the room.

Approaching the wardrobe, she hesitated slightly, then stretched out her hand to slide the door open.

Before her were neatly arranged women’s clothes, some hanging, some folded.

She reached out, gently picked up a piece, and unconsciously held it up against her body; it was just the right size.

Her eyebrows furrowed tightly, she was eighty percent certain that this room had been hers before.

But why couldn’t she remember?

She certainly didn’t think now that it was because of the inheritance.

Xiaoxiao just couldn’t figure it out no matter how hard she tried, it seemed that she would have to ask Mu Zisu, or Shanshan and Qiqi.

With that thought, she closed the wardrobe again and headed toward the bathroom.

Just as she went into the bathroom, the room door opened once more. Mu Zisu, in a black silk robe with his hair half-dry, walked in casually and lazily, locked the door, and then headed to the pink princess bed.

When Xiaoxiao came out of the bathroom wrapped in a bath towel, she almost screamed out loud.

She froze at the bathroom door, flushed with shyness, and incredulously looked at the person sitting beside the bed, elegantly flipping through a book.

"You... how come you..." Xiaoxiao was too astonished to finish her sentence.

Mu Zisu just glanced at her calmly, "It’s too dark at night, and I was worried you would be scared alone...

Xiaoxiao twitched her mouth corner silently, and looked up at the pink ceiling without saying a word.

Then, with extreme helplessness, she said, "I’m fine..."

"It matters to me..."

"......"

Xiaoxiao wanted to ask him how it mattered, but she decided it was better not to ask. If she didn’t ask the right question, he might answer with something outrageous.

"Come here..." Mu Zisu sat up straight.

Seeing his posture, Xiaoxiao suddenly stepped back.

Mu Zisu frowned. Was he really that terrifying?

"Come here, I’ll help you dry your hair..."

Xiaoxiao breathed a sigh of relief and chuckled dryly, "No need, no need, I can do it myself..."

"Be good... Don’t make me repeat a third time..." Mu Zisu had already stood up from beside the bed.

There aren’t many who can make him patient enough to repeat himself three times.

Or rather, so far, she was the first.

Hearing Mu Zisu’s vaguely threatening words, Xiaoxiao suddenly stood frozen in place.

Should she go over or not? Or not go over?

A torrent of indecision swept through her mind, but when Mu Zisu approached her, she still couldn’t decide whether to go or not; alright, she admitted, she was overthinking it.

And besides, it was no longer about what she wanted or didn’t want.

"So disobedient, huh?" Mu Zisu said playfully, with no trace of annoyance on his handsome face.

After speaking, he had already pulled Xiaoxiao toward the dressing table.

With no choice left, Xiaoxiao obediently sat on the stool and let Mu Zisu help her dry her hair while her hands tightly protected the bath towel in front of her, terrified that it might accidentally fall off.

After sitting down, she reflected that she should have changed into her pajamas first. Then she wouldn’t have had to worry about the bath towel slipping off.

Her hair was very long, reaching her waist—

This long hair was also what Mu Zisu cherished most; he loved seeing her with her hair flowing freely.

Looking at the two people in the mirror, one sitting and one standing, Mu Zisu’s gaze became distant.

He remembered how back then, she would gently and earnestly dry his hair, unaware of how captivating she was at that moment.

Through the mirror, Xiaoxiao looked at Mu Zisu with a softened expression, and her heart relaxed as well.

"Did I forget about you..." Xiaoxiao’s voice was light, but her words fell heavily on Mu Zisu’s chest like a huge rock.

His hand stopped abruptly, and he accidentally pulled out two strands of hair.

Xiaoxiao instinctively furrowed her eyebrows for a moment and then looked up at Mu Zisu in the mirror, waiting for his answer.
