Su Wanxia pouted, thinking it was just letting him sleep alone for one night; was it necessary to give her the cold shoulder? Such a petty man!

She then went to the washroom to wash her face and rinse her mouth before rushing eagerly to the dining table.

"I’m so hungry... Achen, have you eaten yet?" Su Wanxia asked loudly, plopping down on the dining chair.

"Hmm..." Mu Yingchen replied in low tones, giving a noncommittal hum.

Su Wanxia shrugged disappointedly, he was still giving her the cold shoulder, huh! What a tightwad!

As she was enjoying her meal, the man who had been reading the newspaper suddenly stood up, walked over to her, and sat across from her with easy grace.

Su Wanxia immediately looked up and grinned at him.

Mu Yingchen could no longer contain the amusement deep inside, and with a reluctant smile, he thought: This woman, she’s impossible!

"After we finish eating, we’re heading to the airport..."

Su Wanxia almost spat out her food and quickly covered her mouth with muffled affirmations.

Once in the car, she quickly took out her phone and made a call to Gong Yining, imploring her to make time to accompany Jian Manhui.

Gong Yining, by nature, was very gentle and didn’t gossip like Kang Xiaolan and Yan Yirou. Knowing that something had happened, she didn’t ask too many questions over the phone and simply nodded in agreement.

Mu Yingchen looked down at her and smiled, "Because it has the house you designed..."

Most importantly, seeing how much fun she had with Meng Can and Mu Chuyang before, he felt a bit jealous since he didn’t have time to accompany her then. Now he definitely wanted to take her there to enjoy themselves...
