Chapter 337: Chapter 335 Don’t Affect Our Date_1

"Although I don’t know what happened between you two before, the most important thing right now is to help him regain his memory as soon as possible. Otherwise, with his condition, there are many people who never remember for their entire life," Na Ersi said seriously.

"Yes, I understand. I will try the method you suggested to help him recover," Su Wanxia replied, her spirits low. She was really struck by Mu Yingchen’s recent question of who she was.

"Okay, then I’m heading back now. You stay here and have some quiet time."

"Okay."

After Na Ersi left, Su Wanxia immediately lay back down and then yelled loudly towards the sky!

It seemed as if she wanted to vent all the troubles in her heart. When her voice stopped, she felt a sudden lightness inside, took a deep breath, and slowly closed her eyes.

Unbidden, the words Mu Yingchen had whispered in her ear after falling from the cliff echoed in her mind: Wanwan, I’m sorry.

Her hand clenched tightly on its own, and then she abruptly opened her eyes. With a start, she sprang up from the ground, and then she began furiously stomping her feet in frustration!

After a while, she suddenly stopped all her movements, placed one hand on her hip, pointed with the other towards the distance, and shouted at the azure sky and the cherry blossoms with her chin raised high: "Mu Yingchen! If I have to, I’ll chase after you again! Let’s see if you can still escape from the palm of this beauty goddess!"

Su Wanxia secretly cheered herself on and, at the same time, swore to herself that if Mu Yingchen truly couldn’t remember her, she would throw him into the sea to feed the fish!

Having come to this realization, she felt a surge of morale and cheerfully hummed a tune as she went to find Mu Yingchen.

After Na Ersi had examined Mu Yingchen, he stood by the window alone, gazing out at the scenery and spacing out.

He didn’t know why he had lost his memory, nor did he understand why he could remember the words Wanwan.

He was even more clueless about who he was. What had the old him been like, whom had he met, what friends had he made, and most importantly, was he really that girl’s fiancé?

He unconsciously placed his hand over his chest, feeling an emptiness there as if something was missing.

He slowly closed his eyes, and suddenly, the image of that fierce woman appeared before him. She called him Mu Yingchen? Was his full name Mu Yingchen? And why did thinking of her warm his heart... What was the reason for this?

The Wanwan he remembered was clearly that girl. What was going wrong?

"Brother Achen..." Na Wa’s voice suddenly came from behind him.

Upon opening his eyes, he turned to look at the girl bouncing towards him.

"Brother Achen, come out and play with me, will you? It’s so boring staying at home..." Na Wa said, reaching to pull his arm. This time, he deftly dodged, as if the movement was incredibly natural for him, not unfamiliar at all.

He was startled by his own reaction.

"Wanwan... what’s your full name?" Mu Yingchen asked, scrutinizing her.

Na Wa rolled her eyes and then let out a sly laugh: "Na Wa..."

Mu Yingchen nodded faintly, "Then what is my full name?"

Na Wa was stumped this time. His full name? She couldn’t help but curse herself for being an idiot. It seemed like that woman had called him by his full name back at the small pavilion by the lake. What was it again?

She absentmindedly scratched the back of her head and then, like a lightbulb turning on, said, "Brother Achen, your full name is Na Achen..."

Mu Yingchen’s deep eyes suddenly clouded with a dark current. He seemed to understand and nodded, then asked, "So, who was I before? What did I do?"

Na Wa was taken aback by Mu Yingchen’s question. She really hadn’t expected him to ask her so many questions upon waking up. Wasn’t he supposed to have amnesia? Why would he be asking her these things...

Na Wa had no idea that Mu Yingchen was inherently sharp-witted. Besides, even though he had amnesia, his IQ and all that were the same as before, top-notch!

Na Wa thought for a long time, unsure of how to answer him, but then she thought, since he didn’t remember anything, wasn’t it true that whatever she said would be the truth?

With this in mind, she couldn’t help but feel delighted, "Brother Achen, it’s like this. One day I followed the village lads up the mountain to hunt, and then we found you injured on the mountain. After that, I brought you back, and as time passed, feelings grew between us, and then we decided to get engaged, and then it led to the current situation..."

Na Wa blurted out a whole bunch, like a tongue twister, but the more Mu Yingchen heard, the more doubts piled up in his mind. It seemed that this girl’s claim about being his fiancée needed further verification!

Yet why was he so obsessed with the name Wanxia?

Na Wa, seeing that he hadn’t said anything, thought he believed her story and immediately began to pull him by his arm towards the door.

Mu Yingchen was pondering his questions and was caught off guard when Na Wa suddenly pulled his arm. Before he could struggle, she had already dragged him to the door.

Just as they reached the door, they were immediately greeted with a petulant shout, "Na Wa! Who allowed you to touch my man!"

Mu Yingchen was startled by her bold proclamation and then focused his gaze on Su Wanxia, who was walking towards them from outside.

Was it her? A sudden joy sprang up in Mu Yingchen’s heart, but his expression remained unchanged.

"This is my man--this is my fiancé, why shouldn’t I touch him?" Na Wa retorted to Su Wanxia’s brazen words, instantly flustered. However, she was too embarrassed to utter the words "my man."

Su Wanxia approached, giving Mu Yingchen an eye-roll, then huffed at Na Wa. She stepped forward and freed Mu Yingchen’s arm from her grip.

"You..." Na Wa pointed a finger in anger.

"What about me?" said Su Wanxia, chin held high in defiance.

Then she naturally wrapped her arms around Mu Yingchen’s arm, sweetly resting her head against his shoulder, and looked smugly at the frustrated Na Wa, "I’m holding my own man, how does that bother you? Run along and play, kid. Don’t interrupt our date."

After finishing her words, Su Wanxia prepared to pull the astonished Mu Yingchen outside.

"He—he is my fiancé!" Na Wa desperately interposed herself in front of them. Growing up, she had never seen such a handsome man. She had to keep him by her side no matter what; it would give her so much face, so much prestige.

Su Wanxia raised an eyebrow, then, under Na Wa’s stunned gaze, she planted a kiss on half of Mu Yingchen’s handsome face and declared like a queen, "See that? Stamped with my seal, now he’s my fiancé!"

Mu Yingchen simply couldn’t describe the shock in his heart, plus that faint and indescribable joy...
