Mr. Mu Proposed Again Today
Chapter 179: Is it Wanwan?_1

Chapter 179: Chapter 179: Is it Wanwan?_1

Mu Yingchen and Mu Feng both nodded with silent smiles.

Su Wanxia couldn’t help but look at them with disdain. Even if she knew nothing about tea, she could still tell if it was fragrant and good, right?

Did she really need to bring the cup to her nose for a sniff before making any remarks, and then finally take a sip? How bothersome...

"Feng, did you give Xiaolan a gift yesterday?" She suddenly changed the topic and asked about Mu Feng’s activities on Christmas Eve.

Mu Feng raised an eyebrow, "Mhm, like Ji Hua, I bought two apples and went home."

"What, you went shopping together?" Su Wanxia asked suspiciously.

"Ran into each other at the fruit store," Mu Feng couldn’t help but glance at Mu Yingchen who was sitting beside him.

Su Wanxia immediately understood what his look towards Mu Yingchen meant. It seemed that everyone knew of his misdeed.

"Ah, you both got apples, while mine are so hard I can’t even bite into them."

Mu Feng couldn’t help but lower his head and chuckle, "Can’t bite, but can get rid of them. I’d better go back now, there’s a pile of documents in the office."

With that, he stood up with a smiling face and walked out.

As soon as Mu Feng left, Su Wanxia and Mu Yingchen were the only two people left in the spacious office.

"So you were presenting borrowed flowers," she said, chin lifted, looking at Mu Yingchen.

Mu Yingchen smiled, "I just bought the stuff before he could."

"You don’t need to explain, I already know everything that happened," she said with the air of a boss.

Mu Yingchen raised an eyebrow, "I was just shopping normally, I neither stole nor robbed."

Su Wanxia couldn’t help but curl the corner of her mouth. If Ji Hua heard this, he would definitely be beating his chest and stomping his feet in frustration.

He didn’t rob, alright he paid; if he said he didn’t rob then he didn’t.

"Aren’t you busy today? Still have time to sit and drink tea..."

"I had just sat down to rest when you saw me. Why? Is the boss going to fine me?" Mu Yingchen teased.

Su Wanxia looked to the heavens, speechless. Fine him? Who dared to fine him? He could take a month off work and nobody would dare fine him.

"Yes, there will be a fine!"

"How will you penalize me?"

Su Wanxia rubbed her forehead. Was this man getting addicted?

"You’re banned from eating for three days..."

"Not eating is fine, as long as I have you," he responded.

Su Wanxia instantly felt a wave of exasperation—her mind in disarray.

It was past seven in the evening when Mu Yingchen was still busy in front of the computer.

"Where do you want to go tonight?" he suddenly asked Su Wanxia who was lying down on the couch.

Su Wanxia frowned and thought for a while, "I don’t know."

"Then I’ll take you to a place."

"Where?" she asked, straightening up.

"You’ll see when we get there."

She couldn’t help but pout. Why had he become so mysteriously cryptic these past two days, any question she asked was met with an enigmatic response.

About twenty minutes later, Mu Yingchen finally stood up from in front of the computer.

"Let’s go."

She got up, instinctively wanting to ask where they were going, but suddenly remembering what he said earlier, she swallowed her question back down.

Forget it, she would just follow him.

That’s how Su Wanxia found herself being pulled into the elevator by Mu Yingchen.

As soon as the elevator doors opened, she immediately frowned and looked at Mu Yingchen, "Did you press the wrong floor?"

After speaking, she looked up to see the floor indicator herself, and sure enough, it was displaying the first floor, not the basement parking lot.

"No mistake," Mu Yingchen said as she looked at the floor display.

"No mistake?" She looked at him doubtfully.

"Yeah, let’s go."

She could only suppress the confusion in her heart and follow him. After exiting the elevator, they turned two corners, and her view suddenly opened up.

This was the lobby of the Mu Group’s first floor. Why had he brought her here?

Although it was past the peak end-of-work period, there might be others like Mu Yingchen who were working overtime at this hour, so everyone wore a shocked expression.

Seeing their big BOSS was as difficult as reaching the heavens.

After their shock subsided, everyone respectfully greeted him and then curiously turned their attention to Su Wanxia.

This woman surely had to be the legendary Miss Su, who had personally mentioned at the BOSS’s birthday party that she would become the young mistress of the Mu Family.

She indeed had an elegant and exceedingly charming aura, a match made in heaven with their President Mu!

Mu Yingchen then led Su Wanxia around one more time, and somehow, when they stepped out, a glittering and bustling square lay before them.

There were Santa Clauses and Christmas trees everywhere, along with colorful neon lights.

"What is this?" she asked, her face full of surprise as she looked at Mu Yingchen.

How had they ended up at this square after such a walk—she didn’t remember any square near the Mu Group’s building?

"This square is behind the Mu Group. If you don’t pay attention, you wouldn’t see it," explained Mu Yingchen, pulling her toward the direction of the square.

Today was Christmas Day, so the square was exceptionally lively.

In the center of the square was a very large circular stone platform surrounded by many people, all seemingly focused on something.

Curious, Su Wanxia also looked in that direction—

A hint of amusement flashed through the depths of Mu Yingchen’s profound eyes, "Let’s go and have a look—"

"Sure," she agreed readily, as she too enjoyed joining lively scenes like this.

After all, everyone has their curiosities, and seeing so many people whispering and watching something, she definitely wanted to take a look to satisfy her own curiosity.

As she excitedly arrived at the edge of the platform with Mu Yingchen, her face lit up in awe, and she opened her mouth in astonishment.

So many flowers, so many candles, so beautiful and magnificent!

Without giving it much thought, she knew this must be a handsome guy proposing to the girl of his dreams.

A wave of envy crossed her heart. Although the combination of roses and candles was cliché, it was a ladder of love that could best convey affection; it was simple yet beautiful and sincere.

She thought every girl must hope for such an ordinary yet extraordinary proposal.

"Hey? No idea which handsome guy is making such a grand scene, he must be proposing for sure!" a girl standing nearby said enviously.

"Yeah, look at the size of the arrangement, bigger than anything I’ve ever seen on TV. This must have taken so much effort."

"If my future husband ever proposes to me like this, I would accept without any hesitation," another added.

Listening to their conversation, Su Wanxia couldn’t help but smile, feeling expectant for her own romantic proposal.

On the bridge during the South-to-North Water Diversion project, he had also declared his love to her in a super romantic manner; she would never forget it, not now, not ever.

Lost in her thoughts, her gaze unintentionally shifted to him, who stood beside her.

The perfectly beautiful contours of his face, his enchanting handsome features, and that aristocratic demeanor towering above others...

"Look, is that ’Wanwan’ in the center?"

One sentence snapped her wandering thoughts back to reality; the name ’Wanwan’ struck her heart profoundly.

She suddenly turned her head and skeptically gazed into the middle of the vast flower sea and bright yellow candles—
