Chapter 178: 174, He can imagine that kind of scene

Logan Ray raced down the streets, Titus Zane’s voice playing in a loop inside his head, Logan, I’m leaving, maybe never to return...

Titus, wait for me, I beg you wait for me, let me see you one last time...

He had so much to say to her, even though they weren’t destined to become lovers, he wanted her to be happy, always reserving a place in the depths of his heart for her, a sacred space no one else could touch, because it held their most precious memories.

"Sir, do you need help?" A young woman’s voice sounded beside him, Logan turned his head, his handsome face indistinct with either sweat or tears.

"I want to go to Style, is it on your way?" Logan continued running forward, the white Audi slowly following along.

"To see your girlfriend?"

The woman driving lazily rested one arm on the rolled-down window, undeterred by the prospect of traffic cameras.

Logan nodded, "Yes, she’s leaving, and I’m desperate to see her one last time."

With a screech, the Audi stopped beside him, the woman flung her hair back, "Get in, I’ll take you, guarantee you’ll see her!"

Logan quickly jumped into the vehicle, barely seated before the white Audi took off, drifting away like an arrow.

The woman had impressive driving skills, like a professional racer, the white Audi weaving through traffic, seemingly about to collide but always beautifully turning and slipping away at the last second.

The Audi stopped in front of Style, seeing Logan’s anxious expression, the woman smiled and said, "Don’t thank me, my name is Alice Ray."

Without waiting for Logan’s thanks, she shot off again like an arrow.

Without a second thought, Logan hurried toward the entrance of Style.

"Excuse me, is the guest from First Love on the second floor still there?"

He rushed into Style, and just as a waiter was taking the leftovers to the kitchen, Logan grabbed her arm, asking urgently.

"Are you asking about the beautiful lady in the gray dress?" The confused waiter asked, Logan, with an image flashing through his mind, nodded frantically, "Yes, her."

When they had grown up, the first gift he gave Titus Zane was a grey-blue dress because the fairies on television always wore a soft grey-blue.

"She has already left."

"How long has it been?"

The waiter pondered, "It must have been about half an hour."

As Logan let go of her and turned to chase out the door, the waiter added from behind.

"That lady sat in First Love for four hours, and when she left, I saw her eyes were red."

A string snapped inside his heart, Logan nearly collapsing, staggering, almost falling.

Fortuitously, his hand found support against the wall.

"Did she say anything?" Logan’s voice suddenly seemed much more weathered.

The waiter thought for a moment and said, "When the lady was settling the bill, she muttered to herself,"

"What did she say?" Logan propped himself up again, staring intently at the waitress.

"She said... waiting is really hard... um, that’s what the lady said!"

Logan’s body slumped, leaning against the wall again, his mouth’s contour tragic.

He could picture the scene: in a couple’s private dining room, she sat at the table, drinking glasses of juice, the kind he had asked the landlady here to freshly squeeze...

"Titus..." Logan called out mournfully, leaning his head against the wall, and as he closed his black eyes, tears spilled out from within.
