Chapter 165: 161. Nathan Moore’s lips curved into a faint smile.

As soon as the car door was closed, Nathan Moore’s voice rang out again. He turned his handsome face to look at Titus Zane with his usual domineering and assertive manner.

"Fasten your seatbelt!"

Titus Zane glanced at him without saying anything, lifted his hand to pull and fasten the seatbelt, but the expression on his small face showed an unclear mix of displeasure and resignation.

Only then did Nathan Moore let it go, and the SUV slowly started, merging into the night.

The journey was largely silent, Nathan Moore focused on driving, his dark eyes always fixed on the road ahead.

Titus Zane rested his elbow on the car door handle with the back of his hand propping his temple, his slightly squinted eyes giving off a dreamy expression.

He had never dared to imagine that Nathan Moore would take the initiative to give him a ride.

Half an hour later, the SUV left the villa area where Nathan Moore lived, which was a quiet location far from the city center.

So, as soon as the SUV entered the streets of the city, Nathan Moore asked.

"Where do you live?"

Titus Zane...

Looked bewilderedly at Nathan Moore, not responding.

Giving her a fleeting glance, Nathan Moore didn’t waste words and turned the steering wheel towards the direction of his villa.

Titus Zane snapped back to reality and quickly sat up straight, looking anxious.

"Stop the car! I’ll get off here!"

Having been confined by Nathan Moore for almost a year, she was all too familiar with the direction he was headed.

A slight curve appeared at the corners of Nathan Moore’s thin lips, very faint, almost imperceptible.

Steering the wheel again, he turned back toward the city center.

"Where do you live? I’ll drop you off."

Feeling that her earlier reaction had been too agitated, Titus Zane straightened up, adjusted her jacket, and said indifferently, "Take me to the bar. I feel like having a drink."

She didn’t want Nathan Moore to know which hotel she was staying at, and getting out here to find a taxi seemed difficult, not to mention, Nathan Moore might not even let her get out.

Nathan Moore didn’t speak, just glanced over coolly, his thin lips curving distinctly.

However, Titus Zane, who was in an awkward situation, didn’t notice.

Without asking for Titus Zane’s opinion, Nathan Moore stopped the car in front of the TRC club, opened the car door, and headed for the club’s entrance first.

As he passed the valet, he raised his hand, tossed the car keys over, and strode into the club with a determined gait.

After slamming the car door shut, Titus Zane hesitated for a moment before following him.

In the club’s performance hall, Nathan Moore sat at the bar, his casual coat partly open, with one foot resting on a tall stool and an arm draped over the bar. He held a wine glass in his hand and leisurely sipped red wine.

When Titus Zane approached, he didn’t even spare her a glance.

Choosing another seat now would seem too affected.

Walking up to the bar, Titus Zane tossed her handbag onto it and chose a tall stool next to Nathan Moore’s spot to sit down.

Just as she was about to order a drink, the Bartender inside the bar had already brought over a brand new wine glass, poured a glass of red wine, and placed it in front of her.

Titus Zane knew it was instructed by Nathan Moore’s look and didn’t hesitate to accept the wine, politely thanking the Bartender.

The latter smiled, nodded, and continued servicing other customers.

Titus Zane had the habit of drinking at night, especially fond of red wine.

She rested a hand on the bar and turned slightly, boredly watching the performance on the stage. Soon, she finished her glass of red wine and was about to ask the Bartender for another when Nathan Moore beside her already turned back, his defined fingers picking up the bottle and silently refilling her glass.

Although they had agreed they were even and owed each other nothing, Titus Zane had never expected them to interact so harmoniously, like old friends with an unspoken understanding, requiring no words, just a look for the other to comprehend.
