It is not that ordinary power enhancements like Arthur's have no hope or can't surprise. They can, but only in special situations when the bloodline mutates or becomes capable of growth.

No matter how people stared at them for a reaction, they didn't do anything. Jade had also calmed down now. There was nothing on her face or demeanor that indicated that she had a confrontation with Arthur earlier.

Everyone could only stand around until it was time to enter the secret realm. Then they were split into groups and led to separate entrances.

The entrance that the people of the Blood Skull sect used this time around was the hollow space in the trunk of a giant tree. As people entered this large hole, it lolled as if they were walking into the tree.

Arthur wasn't surprised by this situation, as he has had much experience with the various unconventional ways to enter a secret realm. He had once used a pit as an entrance. That one was even more unconventional than walking into a tree trunk.
