Chapter 851 - 851 Honeymoon trip (2)
Chapter 851: Honeymoon trip (2) Chapter 851: Honeymoon trip (2) After returning from the island, JK International seemed very busy, with Quan Jingwu staying at the company until evening every day. As for Jian Qing, the Jian Group had accumulated a pile of documents waiting for her signature, and she too was running to the Jian Group daily. Occasionally, the two little treasures were brought along to the company, and sometimes they just stayed in the old mansion playing with Snowball.
After a busy week, Jian Qing finally had some leisure time. She had taken a bath and now lay in bed playing toys with the two little treasures.
Watching nineteen yawn, Jian Qing’s lips curled into a smile as she reached out to hold him gently in her arms and patted him, “Nineteen, are you sleepy, hmm?”
Nineteen snuggled into her embrace, his chubby little hand still clutching a small wool ball, and his beautiful purple eyes misting over, clearly getting sleepy.
Jian Qing whispered soothingly to lull him to sleep and looked up at seventeen. Compared to Nineteen’s drowsiness, seventeen was eagerly fiddling with a toy car, full of energy.
Not until Nineteen had fallen asleep did Seventeen show any sign of sleepiness. Being very careful, Jian Qing laid down Nineteen and pulled up the blanket to cover him.
Under the warm yellow light, Nineteen’s exquisitely beautiful little face had a faint pink blush, breathing gently and sleeping sweetly.
Jian Qing looked towards Seventeen and “shushed” softly. Seventeen responded with a grin, his pink gums revealing two little baby teeth.
Pearly white; if you didn’t know better, you might think they were two grains of rice stuck there.
Jian Qing got out of bed to put on her shoes, then picked up Seventeen and left the room.
In the quiet corridor, their soft footsteps echoed.
Carrying Seventeen, Jian Qing approached the study room. The door was ajar and not closed, the light was on inside, and a man’s deep voice reached her ears.
Upon pushing the door open, the man’s gaze shifted towards her. Seeing who it was, he gestured with his hand and then shut down the computer.
Seventeen, nestled quietly in Jian Qing’s arms, started to squirm excitedly upon seeing the man sitting at the desk, stretching out his little hands towards him, a clear demand for a hug.
Jingwu stood up and walked over to them, taking Seventeen with one arm and wrapping the other around Jian Qing, “Why did you come over, how is Nineteen?”
“He’s asleep,” Jian Qing glanced at the computer on the desk and asked, “Haven’t finished your work yet?”
“Almost there.” Jingwu led her to sit on the sofa, with Seventeen sitting on his lap, his little feet swinging languidly.
Jian Qing leaned her head to the side, resting it on his shoulder, “Do you need to go to the company tomorrow?”
“No need,” Jingwu said.
“Hmm?” Jian Qing lifted her head, a flash of confusion crossing her stunning face, “Isn’t the company really busy these days?”
Jingwu’s eyebrows arched slightly as he replied calmly, “All the busy work is done. Now we have one more thing to take care of.”
“What is it?” she asked.
The wedding was over, and she didn’t know of anything else that needed to be done.
Jingwu smiled mysteriously and pinched her cheek gently, “Silly girl, we haven’t gone on our honeymoon trip yet.”
“Honeymoon trip?” Jian Qing was astonished.
He nodded, “Yes, a honeymoon trip.”
At the end, he made a point to emphasize, “A trip just for the two of us.”
He had been busy taking care of company affairs these past few days so that he could free up time to focus on their honeymoon trip. As for the two little treasures, naturally they wouldn’t be brought along; it was better to leave the little light bulbs at home for now.
Realizing what he meant, and hearing his particular emphasis, Jian Qing couldn’t help but laugh, “Are you planning to leave Seventeen and Nineteen behind?”
Hearing Jian Qing mention his nickname, Seventeen looked at her with his bright, puzzled eyes, looking adorably confused.
Jian Qing reached out to touch his little head, saying with a smile, “Seventeen, Daddy is going to abandon you and Nineteen, what are we going to do?”
“Ah… ya ya…” Seventeen grabbed one of Jian Qing’s fingers, babbling in a clear baby voice as if he had understood Jian Qing’s words.
Quan Jingwu bent down and kissed his forehead, his magnetic voice deep, “Seventeen, be good at home with Nineteen, and Daddy will take you to the zoo when he comes back.”
Seventeen kicked his little feet, his eyes, identical to Jian Qing’s, fixed on Quan Jingwu, while his rosy little mouth kept blowing bubbles.
“Pfft–”
Spittle flew everywhere, making Jian Qing lean against Quan Jingwu, laughing.
She muttered to herself, well done, Seventeen.
Quan Jingwu pulled out a tissue, his movements tender as he wiped away the sliver of drool hanging from Seventeen’s mouth, “Seventeen, do you want to hear a bedtime story, do you want daddy to lift you high, hmm?”
Jian Qing rolled her eyes, still threatening his own son at his age, how could he.
Seventeen’s plump little face wrinkled, and he suddenly grabbed Quan Jingwu’s hand, opening his mouth and biting his hand precisely and accurately.
It was more like he was holding onto the hand rather than biting, since his tiny emerging baby teeth had no biting force, only managing to coat Quan Jingwu’s hand with drool.
Jian Qing giggled softly, her eyes filled with adoration as she looked at Seventeen, then she glanced at Quan Jingwu with a deeper smile on her lips.
“Xiaojing, you’ve upset Seventeen.”
Quan Jingwu freed one hand to lightly scrape her nose, then looked down at the little guy biting his hand, at the face that resembled his, his thin lips slightly curving up.
He withdrew his hand, looking at the saliva from the little one on it, his severe germophobia nowhere to be seen. He wiped it with a tissue, then used his hands to lift Seventeen high up into the air, playing his favorite game.
“Giggles!”
As soon as they played the lifting game, Seventeen immediately forgot all about his little frustrations, laughing with eyes crescent-shaped, his bell-like laughter spreading through the study room.
Jian Qing leaned on the couch, looking at Seventeen’s laughing face and chuckled helplessly, “Xiaojing, stop playing with Seventeen, he really won’t be able to sleep if you keep this up.”
Quan Jingwu hummed a response, holding Seventeen steadily with one hand and pulling Jian Qing up with the other, “Let’s go, Nineteen might cry if he wakes up and can’t find anyone.”
Thinking of Nineteen, the little haughty boy, Jian Qing nodded, smiling.
Nineteen loved to act up more than Seventeen, throwing tantrums and acting cute at the drop of a hat.
…
The next day, when Jian Qing woke up, someone was already packing luggage.
She scratched her head and sat up to look at him, “Xiaojing, what are you doing so early?”
Quan Jingwu put the folded clothes into the suitcase, his actions practiced, “Our honeymoon luggage.”
“The honeymoon isn’t today, why are you in such a hurry to pack?” Jian Qing flopped back on the brocade quilt, yawning lazily.
Quan Jingwu zipped up the suitcase, picked it up and set it aside, then walked over to the bed, leaning down with his hands propped on either side of her.
“You’re wrong, our honeymoon trip is today,” his magnetic voice carried a low chuckle.
“What?” Jian Qing sat up abruptly, and in her excitement, her forehead knocked right into Quan Jingwu’s jaw.
Ouch, that hurts.
She clutched her forehead, frowning slightly.
