She covered her mouth and ran out quickly.

“Rinse your mouth.” Quan Jingwu put down the toothbrush, helped her down, and handed her the cup to rinse her mouth. His movements were so smooth, it was apparent he hadn’t done this before.

After swishing and spitting, Jian Qing leaned against him, watching through the mirror as he meticulously cleaned the toothbrush and put it away.

“Xiaojing, don’t worry, you’ll feel better in a while,” she softly reassured him.

Quan Jingwu wiped his hands then quietly lifted her up and walked out of the bathroom.

Jian Qing gazed up at him, a faint smile tugged at the corners of her mouth.

Her handsome husband was becoming even more adorable.

Quan Jingwu put her on the bed and sat next to her.

Jian Qing looked at him with bright eyes. Just as she was about to speak, he cupped her cheeks in his hands. She looked at him curiously.

“Sweetheart, I’m sorry,” he gently rubbed her face, his voice was husky and full of guilt.

“It’s because of me you got pregnant so soon and are now feeling this way. Sweetheart, I’m sorry.”

Jiant Qing’s lips curled up lightly, her eyes brimming with a warm smile.

Quan Jingwu’s previously furrowed brow finally relaxed into a perfect curve.

A gentle breeze blew in from the window, lifting the gauze curtain and softly caressing the two intertwined bodies. The air was filled with their shared warmth.

In the afternoon, Xiya and Zhan Mingyan came to visit Jian Qing.
