Chapter 1030 - 1030 1015 Jue and Zhans Couple Extra (14)
Chapter 1030: 1015, Jue and Zhan’s Couple Extra (14) Chapter 1030: 1015, Jue and Zhan’s Couple Extra (14) Bai Jue, with one hand in his pocket, glanced at him, “Your company? Ha, if she hadn’t stolen my father’s company secrets for you back then, your lousy company would have gone bankrupt long ago. I had originally planned to let you off this time, but I never expected your shamelessness to be such an eye-opener for me. If you insist on making a spectacle of yourselves in front of me, then I have no choice but to thoroughly take care of you.”
In order to deal with them, his return to Beijing was delayed by several days. He wouldn’t let them get away without paying a painful price; they would never learn otherwise.
Stepping on a sore spot, Jason felt a sinking feeling in his heart, his face turning a ghastly green and purple, as if he had swallowed a fly.
“Bai Jue, I’ll fight you to the end!”
Bader suddenly charged out from a corner of the dining room, rushing towards Bai Jue with a raging momentum.
Under the light, he drew the sharp blade hidden at his waist.
The sharp dagger, glinting with flecks of cold light.
Bai Jue curled his lips into a smirk, and moved so fast that it was a blur to them.
He grabbed Bader’s wrist, applied a slight force, and Bader grimaced in pain, his grip on the dagger loosening and it fell to the ground.
Then, he threw a punch directly to his face with the back of his hand.
“Ah!”
The iron-like fist landed, Bader turned his head aside, cried out in pain, and spat out a mix of blood and teeth.
“Bai Jue, no!” Fang Xue picked up the dagger from the ground, pointing it shakily at Bai Jue, her face filled with panic.
Bai Jue glanced at the dagger in her hand, the corner of his lips lifted sarcastically, “What, you want to kill me?”
He moved his hand upward, clasping Bader’s neck. Bader’s face instantly turned red, and his breathing became labored.
“No, I don’t, Bader is also your brother, please don’t hurt him, okay?” Facing his icy gaze, Fang Xue almost couldn’t hold the dagger steady.
Bai Jue suddenly laughed, but his eyes remained cold.
Bader was her son, isn’t he the one she gave birth to after carrying him for ten months? When Bader tried to kill him just now, he didn’t see her jump out to protect him. Ha, she simply didn’t deserve to be his mother.
“Mom, save me!” Bader struggled to breathe as he called for help.
Seeing his face turning purple, Fang Xue became panicked and gripped the dagger tighter, “Bai Jue, I beg you to let Bader go, release him!”
“Bai Jue, this is my house. If you dare to mess around, you won’t be able to leave here either,” Jason threatened fiercely.
“And what if I don’t let go?” Bai Jue looked at Bader, a cold smile on his lips. “Whether I can leave here or not is not for you to decide.”
With that, his grip on Bader’s neck suddenly tightened.
Fang Xue waved the dagger around frantically, “Bai Jue, stop it, I’m telling you to stop! Did you hear me?”
Bai Jue glanced at the sharp dagger, then at her anxiety over Bader, and suddenly, he really missed Zhan Mingyan.
He loosened his grip and kicked Bader in the stomach. Unprepared, Bader flew backward and crashed violently against a column, then fell to the ground.
Seeing this, Fang Xue rushed over to check on Bader’s injuries.
“Bader, how are you?”
Bai Jue looked at Jason, “It’s time for you to give back what you owe my father.”
Jason clenched his fists but did not dare to make a move against Bai Jue because of his fighting prowess.
“From now on, I don’t owe you anything!” Bai Jue looked at the woman helping Bader up, his gaze calm, devoid of hate, only alienation and unfamiliarity.
Fang Xue opened her mouth but didn’t know what to say.
Bai Jue gave them one last look and turned to leave. His nonchalant departure made Fang Xue anxious, and after a moment of hesitation, she quickly followed him.
She couldn’t just lose her powerful and influential son like this.
By the time she got outside, Bai Jue had already gotten into the car.
“Bai Jue, Bai Jue, wait for me…”
Bai Jue glanced at the rearview mirror and, without a hint of hesitation, drove away.
“Bai Jue, wait, I have something to tell you.”
Fang Xue chased after the car for a few steps, but in her haste and high heels, she accidentally twisted her ankle.
She fell to the ground, watching the disappearing car with a sense of unwillingness in her heart.
Before Jason and his team could come up with a countermeasure, Bai Jue struck swiftly and ruthlessly, giving them no chance to catch their breath.
Within less than three days, Jason’s company declared complete bankruptcy. Consequently, the first to suffer was Fang Xue—Jason not only divorced her, leaving her not a cent, but he also kicked her out of the house.
Bai Jue fastened the buttons of his shirt, rolled up his sleeves, and the phone on the bed buzzed. He glanced at the caller ID and picked it up.
“Speak.”
“Jason’s father died yesterday. He divorced Fang Xue and plans to take his son and daughter to leave M Country. Fang Xue had some private savings behind Jason’s back. According to the information we gathered, she secretly asked someone to look at a villa in the suburbs…”
Bai Jue lost interest in the rest of the speech and hung up the phone.
Thinking of seeing a certain person when he returned home, Bai Jue’s lips curled up slightly.
He grabbed his car keys and stepped out.
As he was about to leave, he called Jian Luo, but Black Jack answered the phone instead.
“Why are you the one answering the phone?”
“Speak,” said Black Jack, his voice magnetic and slightly hoarse from just waking up, Bai Jue’s call clearly disturbed his dreams.
“Hand the phone to Jian Luo, I need to ask him something,” Bai Jue said.
On the other end, Black Jack looked at the person deeply asleep beside him and gently rubbed his chestnut hair with his distinct fingers.
“Luo, wake up!”
With his eyes closed and pulling off the blanket, Jian Luo asked, “What is it?”
“Bai Jue’s call,” Black Jack said softly.
Jian Luo turned over, “Never mind him.”
When it came to sleep, nothing else mattered.
Listening to Jian Luo’s words over the phone, Bai Jue looked skywards speechlessly, a faint sadness on his face.
Can we still be good friends?
“Bai Jue, disturbing my sleep so early in the morning, you did that on purpose,” Jian Luo said groggily, looking at the ceiling and gnashing his teeth.
Even young masters get out of bed on the wrong side.
“Jian Luo, where did you buy the chocolate you ate a few days ago?” Bai Jue got straight to the point.
Jian Luo, dizzy with anger, said, “You could have just asked Black Jack directly.”
Was it worth upsetting his whole morning routine?
Bai Jue slapped his forehead, he had been so busy these last few days that he nearly forgot that Jian Luo’s chocolates were always bought by Black Jack.
Having learned where to buy the chocolates, Bai Jue opened the car door and sat inside.
“Thanks, brother,” he said.
Hearing the sound of the car door closing, Jian Luo asked, “Are you returning to Beijing today?”
Bai Jue made an affirmative sound.
“Get lost, get lost, so you don’t disturb us anymore,” Jian Luo said disdainfully.
After hanging up the phone, Bai Jue chuckled and drove away.
The Grand Master Zhan’s birthday banquet was booked in a hotel under JK International. When Bai Jue learned the location of the banquet, he paid all the hotel costs before Zhan Ze could, securing the place.
