Chapter 1719: Chapter 1719 I Just Like It

Battle, battle my ass, how can you battle like this? Anyone can just come out and crush them, and you still talk about battling, how do you battle like that.

"Didn’t you want to have a fair fight with me? Come on."

The Leopardman was about to explode with anger. However, although he was arrogant, he wasn’t really a reckless fighter. He just felt embarrassed about being killed by Li Yao with one arrow and wanted to regain his pride.

"I’ve looked into your information. At the time, we hadn’t entered the game yet, and your skills among you Earthlings were quite good, plus you had a knack for snowballing. By clinging to the Queen’s influence, you soared high, and by chance, you gained the allegiance of the Black Dragon Queen. From there, things spiraled out of control, the snowball grew bigger and bigger, and now you have control over several maps. Recently, you even obtained the allegiance of the Blue Dragon Queen and two hundred Frost Giant Dragon Warriors through your black dragon."

"You’ve become one of the strongest new-generation figures in the Dark Camp, but you must understand, this is because we entered the main space relatively late. If we had been there from the start, you wouldn’t have had such opportunities. You’re nothing more than a joke."

"In terms of overall strength, I’m not as good as you. But when it comes to combat skills and techniques, you’re far behind. If your true form fights against me, and we compare skills, you wouldn’t stand a chance."

The Leopardman’s eyes were full of fighting spirit. He acknowledged that Li Yao was more powerful, stronger now because battle isn’t just about skill and technique, but also personal strength and background.

"I’ve never seen someone as shameless as you. According to your logic, your grandparents and even your father’s generation have deeper roots than you. Are you saying because you were born later, the others are just trash? That’s absurd. What if they had another chance to be reborn and compete with you? Bullshit."

Tong Tong immediately burst out in foul language. This is indeed a robber theory; if you’re not capable, you’re not capable, stop making excuses.

Other alien players showed a flash of embarrassment. This world can’t possibly have true fairness and justice, and the so-called fairness isn’t measured by making oneself the benchmark.

Complaining about being born late is plain ridiculous.

So everyone persuaded him to back down, but the Leopardman was already humiliated and enraged, refusing to listen.

"Prairie Fire, I ask you, you boast of unmatched archery, called the Hunter King. Do you dare face me in battle without relying on your pets?"

Li Yao sneered, "I am a peaceful person by nature, not fond of disputes, yet you provoke me. Although I am humble and civilized, what I can’t stand the most is people like you who are full of excuses. Ifs mean nothing in this world. What I love most is fulfilling your so-called ifs, making you understand how insignificant you are in my eyes."

"So, are you agreeing to this?" The Leopardman didn’t care about anything else, he just wanted to prove that he could technically outperform Prairie Fire, that Prairie Fire was just relying on accumulated background, acting unscrupulously, yet as long as he accumulated enough, he could absolutely defeat him.

"Yes, I said, I love stepping on people like you. I won’t summon any pets, and I won’t use any ultimate skills. As for you, use whatever means you have. I will set a contract."

As Li Yao spoke, he tossed out a contract stating that he would neither use any ultimate skills nor summon any pets to face the Leopardman.

This move by Li Yao puzzled them; it’s like he’s cutting off his own arm, perhaps even a leg. How can he fight like this? The Leopardman is no pushover; although hot-tempered, he’s a formidable strongman.

Conceding so much, facing a Leopardman in full strength, loss is inevitable.

"Alright, I won’t use any ultimates either, to avoid accusations of bullying you." The Leopardman sneered.

"Should I swap my weapon for a Novice Bow, throw on any purple gear for fun? Otherwise, if you lose, you’ll blame it on me starting early and not encountering aliens like you, only to accumulate strength."

Li Yao’s words caused laughter beyond the Leopardman’s guild; even though they had a temporary alliance, they wouldn’t truly share a common enemy.

Many aliens also believed Li Yao’s strength stemmed from accumulation, but in essence, accumulation itself is a symbol of strength. This challenge request was deemed utterly shameless.

Moreover, although they understood the Leopardman’s desire to regain face, they disdained this way.

In their view, a true strongman would acknowledge an opponent’s formidable force, bide their time, surpass the opponent’s accumulation, and crush them both in skills and strength.

If not for the unique rules of this instance, they wouldn’t want to be stuck fighting against Starfire.

Even though the Leopardman had a face full of leopard fur, everyone could see the humiliating rage in his eyes, these words truly shamed him.

"Let’s not argue with words; no need to change gear. Let’s just use our skills, come and fight."

As the Leopardman spoke, he threw out a War Banner of Life and Death, whose function is for the system to stake and hold a bet, whereupon death results in double penalties, even if revived, the penalty remains doubled.

Moreover, a life-and-death battle is like match mode, where others can watch but not intervene, and the scenario temporarily enters a lock state, akin to entering a Mirror Space.

They can see it, but not touch it.

The five-second countdown began, and the two exchanged a glance.

Both of them entered the shadows, beginning a stealth mode.

As a Leopardman Druid, his true form is a hunter, so there’s no need to shapeshift.

There’s an elite shapeshift for Druids nowadays, where instead of turning into a leopard, they assume a Leopardman form. The advantage here is to maintain human form, easier to control.

Li Yao’s figure also faded and disappeared into the air.

The audience was dumbfounded; a duel between a Hunter and a Druid and it looks like a duel between two Rogues.

Yet spectators could see two faint silhouettes. They weren’t far apart, but neither could see the other and cautiously began to move.

They were amazed to discover Li Yao’s stealth technique was absolutely master-level. This was simply unbelievable for a Hunter. Even though Dark Rangers have the ability to enter shadows, it was quite beyond belief.

It wasn’t about a high stealth level; rather, each move of Li Yao’s harmonized with the forces of the world.

A Rogue’s stealth can hide the form, lighten the body, but still might make noise.

It requires constant practice for Rogues, adapting to various terrains is just the basics, primarily mastering everything around the ground, not revealing any flaw.

Li Yao’s displayed stealth was practically flawless, he glided elegantly, controlling every stone, grass, even dust on the ground, truly blending into the environment, as if dancing with the surroundings, pleasing to behold...
