Miss Witch Doesn't Want to be a Diva
Chapter 1154 - 163: Return to the Floral Crown Star Domain

Four-leaf Crystal Star Domain, Grey Dust Crystal Headquarters.

An elegant mansion with a blue roof is situated at the corner of the headquarters' edge. It is both quiet and conveniently located for meetings and work at the headquarters. This is where Tilan currently resides.

On the west side of the mansion's second floor is Tilan's private study. The room is especially large, filled with numerous ancient books and texts. At the moment, Tilan is lying beneath one of the bookshelves, with many open books piled beside her. Her smooth long hair spreads on the floor as she slightly extends her arms, placed at her sides.

Gazing at the ceiling, the girl occasionally closes her eyes, sometimes opens them, thinking about the recent events in her mind.

The Federation is in chaos. Even though she is not currently in the Central Star Domain, she can feel the crisis slowly spreading out from this eye of the storm.

The Western Star Domain, where Blanchi is located, has shown strong determination and resolve. They will not easily surrender or give up, and on the Federation's side, there is no reason to tolerate such division. War is unavoidable.

If the Federation wins, the rebellion in the Western Star Domain will be pacified, and a long phase of law and order management will follow. It is expected that post-war policy arrangements will face much debate, making it difficult to truly appease the local residents... She recalls her experiences in the Central Star Domain, speculating on future developments.

What if the Western Star Domain wins? The probability of this is low, but if they truly do win, then... Tilan opens her eyes and shakes her head. Even if they win this battle, the Federation Central Star Domain still has five major fleets.

The best outcome would be winning and then negotiating with the Federation to forge a peace agreement so that the war can be settled.

She has a desire to help end this conflict, but currently, both sides are quite heated, and it's probably unlikely anyone will heed her advice. The residents of the Western Star Domain have accumulated grievances and hatred that need to be vented, while the Federal Official believes it has a natural justice, not allowing the birth of a separatist force.

Sigh, willing but powerless. Not to mention the Central Council's various factions, it's extremely difficult to unify voices and opinions. Even the star domains in the southeastern region have their own thoughts. Most of these star domains strongly support the Federal Official, believing the Western Star Domain's rebellion must be harshly suppressed. A few star domains think the Western Star Domain's push for independence is understandable, and many star domains believe it's none of their business, after all, it's an issue several thousand light-years away. Without the development of superluminal travel technology, both sides might not meet for tens of thousands of years.

The overly vast territory causes more than 90% of the Federation's residents to never leave the star domain where they were born. It's no wonder they don't care about a distant world that appears only on TV programs, much like how you would focus on the capital and a few famous big cities of a country but know little about the countless unknown counties and remote areas within the country.

The thoughts swirling in her mind make Tilan slightly weary, so she simply closes her eyes and takes a short nap amidst the stack of books.

It's the height of summer now, and the surrounding environment is very peaceful, with the occasional sound of cicadas coming from afar.

At 2 p.m., Tilan wakes from her nap, shakes her head slightly to smooth out her hair, puts down the books, and walks out of the mansion.

Behind her residence is a maple forest. These maple trees are quite tall, with yellow and orange leaves arranged in layers. Walking through the forest, one can hear the faint sound of stepping over fallen leaves.

Strolling through this leaf-covered maple forest, Tilan feels much refreshed in body and mind. The wind blows her skirt slightly, occasionally lifting the leaves to brush her ankles, feeling the coolness and moisture of the leaf stems.

Stopping under a very large maple tree, Tilan looks up at the canopy, where the layers of overlapping maple leaves block the sky, reminding one of the clouds illuminated by sunset.

She leaps lightly, her body gracefully stepping over the branches along the way, then landing on the green branches at the top of the canopy. Sitting here allows her to gaze beyond the forest towards the distant city.

The birds chirp in the forest; Tilan raises her hand slightly, catching a small bird that lands in front of her. Its body is round and fluffy, with bright yellow feathers, while the edges of its wings are brown and black.

This little bird first stands on the side of her palm. Tilan deliberately turns her palm over, watching it spread its wings and land on the back of her hand. Then Tilan smiles and turns her palm face-up, watching it continue to hop and fall in the air.

"Clumsy, but quite cute." Tilan then thinks for a moment, taking out grains she usually feeds to White Kite and offers them to this little fellow to eat.

After pecking at these grains, the small bird leaps up, turning its head and disappearing into the sky.

That little guy, ate and ran off, Tilan can't help but shake her head as she watches.

Continuing to sit on the branch, Tilan reaches out to pick a few leaves, closely examining the pale red and yellow patterns above, recalling an old method of making bookmarks, seemingly by removing the leaf surface and leaving only the leaf's veins.

Keeping a few leaves she likes, the rest of the leaves are curiously folded in the girl's palm, first trying a square pattern, then a paper airplane, but unfortunately, the leaves are too small and have a certain resilience, quickly reverting to their original shape.

So Tilan stops attempting overly complex patterns and instead simply rolls them up one by one, simulating the layered shape of a rose, finally freezing them together at the gathered base to secure the structure.

That's better, looking at the finished Maple Leaf Rose, Tilan feels a bit satisfied, then gently rubs it with both hands, watching it soar into the sky, carried by the airflow into the distance.
