Chapter 1123: Chapter 152 The Bell Rings_2

"This is the ’Sacred Seat Console,’ a product of the Holy White Melody, rare within the Federation. Its function is to protect your consciousness and to enter the Aijieka Sea, gaining the ability to communicate across the Star River." Compared to ordinary immersion cabins, this creation possesses power several tens of times stronger, allowing even unskilled mortals to traverse the Aijieka Space safely without relying on the network.

Before the Aijieka Network was constructed throughout the Federation, similar Sacred Seats were the mainstream superluminal communication method for spreading information. After the Aijieka Network was completed, this method was slowly replaced and faded from the view of ordinary people.

"What should I do?" asked Blanchi as she walked step by step towards the device. At this moment, there was no way back. She could only inquire about the next steps from the other party.

"After you lie down, I will activate the Sacred Seat and connect to the Western Star Domain, thousands of light-years away. Then you will meet several major figures of the Western Star Domain."

"Your task is simply to inform them of the current status, and have them support your decision."

"Just inform them, and they will support me?"

"Yes, because they actually have no choice. If you are captured by the Court of Judgment, the Western Star Domain won’t see a second hope for the next hundred years." As La Gui’er, the ’Hope’ among the Seven Virtues, she understands this power all too well.

"I understand." Blanchi laid down in the immersion cabin.

The cabin door slowly closed. Through the transparent glass dome, one could see the girl with chestnut-golden long hair slowly falling asleep inside. Candles around the Sacred Seat began to light up one by one, strange ripples continuously spreading from the points of candlelight, seemingly softening the surrounding space, making it overlap step by step with the Aijieka Sea, gradually entering the higher-dimensional universe.

In response, La Gui’er clasped her hands together, closed her eyes in prayer. As her prayers were recited, the swaying and dizzying sensation in the surrounding space gradually stabilized, making the entire connection process safer.

...

As if dreaming for a long time, when Blanchi awoke again, she found herself seated in a quiet palace, supported by a cold grey stone chair, the interior of the palace utterly dark.

At some point, a few candlelights flickered in the palace, and where each candlelight appeared, a similar stone chair emerged with a figure of indistinct features sitting on it.

As if receiving some notification, one by one the candles lit up, stone chairs appeared in the cold palace, ultimately with 397 stone chairs standing, each occupied by a nebulous figure.

Though Blanchi couldn’t see these people’s faces, she could clearly sense their consciousness or soul. Given her location in the Aijieka Space, as a Songstress, her talent ability became even purer and stronger, unblocked by the interference of reality’s power.

"Four hundred years, I hadn’t thought I would witness such a grand gathering again." An old voice resounded, coming from a stone chair at the front, where an old man stooped over.

"Though this is abrupt, Lady Blanchi certainly did not convene this meeting just to see us. Please, let’s quiet down and listen to Lady Blanchi’s speech." He spoke again, quieting the members of the hall.

As if countless gazes and consciousnesses focused attention on her, the sensation in a soul consciousness state was particularly vivid, causing Blanchi immense pressure. Those present weren’t merely the Western Star Domain’s power possessors alone; Master Level figures of Sequence 7 occupied most of the seats, even having an elusive perception of a few Sequence 8 top-rank Transcendents. If not for the restraint of those present, only the surge of mental consciousness could overwhelm Blanchi into a stupor.

Among her peers of Songstresses, she was the weakest, now only Sequence 5, far from the talents like Tilan and Ores.

"I..." Blanchi took a deep breath.

"I am currently staying on a Starship prepared by the film company; the Court of Judgment members by my side have been cleared. Now, I hope to return to the Western Star Domain and need your assistance."

She didn’t elaborate why it had to be done, but those present needed no explanation to understand the implications behind it.

"Have you truly decided? In fact, we do not wish to push you urgently."

For Yade and others contacting Blanchi, they made no move to assist nor protect those arrested members because these true power leaders understood it wasn’t yet mature enough timing. Blanchi was still too young, so young as to make them hesitant to bet rashly. This wasn’t a simple protest, but truly an internal war, a war which would demand the death of millions or billions to conclude. Should they fail again, countless would accompany this aftermath.

Federation’s internal issues went beyond the Northwest Star Domain alone; there were many others, inclusive of a financial crisis now pushing major forces within the Central Star Domain into internal conflict, something very clear to the Western Star Domain’s actual backstage figures.

Though the Western Star Domain was also impoverished, they were very cohesive despite internal scarcity. Had it been delayed further, surely the Central Star Domain would encounter more problems first, and then, they would welcome back Blanchi, centering around her as Songstress, gathering representatives from various Western Star Domain places, agreeing on subsequent paths — this being the most stable, lowest risk, and feasible approach.
