Miss Witch Doesn't Want to be a Diva -
Chapter 1086 - 136: A Small Gathering in the Flying Feather Star Domain_3
"It's hard to resist human nature, especially when there are easy options available," Deloris sighed, over the past two years she had probably seen too many degenerate rich kids.
"Alright, let's not talk about this anymore. It's still early, why don't I accompany you for a walk around the campus, to see the scenery and architecture here."
Saying this, the two of them held hands and walked downstairs. Tilan followed Deloris along the shaded paths of the Academy.
It's the holiday season now, with no classes, so there weren't many students on campus. The tall trees blocked the sunlight from the road, making it not hot at all. Occasionally, the sound of cicadas could be heard, and the soft sound of fallen leaves rolling in the breeze added a touch of tranquility.
The two of them strolled while talking about the events of the past two years, Tilan shared her experiences as a songstress in Academy City, and the amusing incidents during her training, while Deloris shared the big and small things she had experienced in the Flying Feather Star Domain.
"'White Feather-α' has the strongest commercial atmosphere, with many business and finance schools gathered there. Then there's 'White Feather-β', this planet is filled with many church schools. Tilan's once familiar Seraphiel, Valke, and 'Deklabi' are all studying at universities over there."
"It's just the summer vacation, and there's not much fun staying here, why don't we go to 'White Feather-β' for a trip?" Deloris could tell that Tilan wanted to see old friends, so she offered the suggestion.
"Okay." They agreed and decided to depart for 'White Feather-β' two days later.
In the afternoon, after touring the campus, the two returned to their residence. Deloris treated Tilan to a grand meal, and then they continued to explore the bustling shopping street of Dulan District at night.
During that time, like before, Deloris bought Tilan a lot of clothes, then took Tilan for a sightseeing boat ride on the Blue River in Dulan District. They enjoyed dinner and snacks while watching the scenery on both sides, playing until late at night before they went back to rest.
The next day, Deloris continued to show Tilan around the fun places in Dulan District, such as museums, opera houses, art exhibition halls, amusement parks, and the exotic animal park.
In the evening, Deloris received an invitation from a classmate.
"Is it a friend's party invitation?" Tilan asked, guessing, as she saw Deloris flipping through the messages.
"Yes, but I won't go this time. Keeping Tilan company is more important," Deloris said with a wink.
"You don't need to be so mindful," the girl felt a bit embarrassed, feeling that Deloris was increasingly enjoying teasing her.
"Haha, alright. If Tilan wants to go, I can take you to experience it." Deloris, thinking the girl might be curious since she hadn't attended such events before, invited her.
"Back at Edith Academy, you were the student council president, and everyone knew you were a songstress, so they didn't dare to be too flamboyant in front of you, and the gatherings and dinners were relatively proper." Deloris recalled.
"This time, the invitation is from a friend I get along well with, her hosted parties should be quite normal and relaxed, so it's not a big deal for Tilan to come along."
"Do you want to go take a look?"
"Mhm."
"It looks like Tilan has become much more proactive. In the past, you always used to avoid attending these types of parties," Deloris said with a gentle laugh, covering her mouth.
"Deloris has also become a lot more lively, you used to be more dignified and ladylike," Tilan retorted.
"Perhaps there have been some changes, but in front of friends, I am indeed similar to the impression you had before." Deloris gently pressed her chin thoughtfully, and this moment also showed her familiar elegant and intellectual demeanor.
"Maybe it's just seeing you these two days that made me so happy," Deloris smoothly tucked the hair by her ear.
"It's really nice, how Tilan came specifically to see me," at that moment, Deloris's tone completely reverted to how she used to be, which made Tilan feel a bit unaccustomed.
"Even though it's a small thing, it can still easily touch me," Deloris looked at Tilan in front of her and gently touched the girl's cheek with her finger.
"Even with very good friends, many gradually lose contact after college, without any conflicts or disharmony, just drifting apart with time."
"So, Tilan still coming to find me after becoming a songstress makes me feel moved too." Having come to the Central Star Domain, Deloris had seen too many aristocratic peers, and her once young lady-like confidence and pride had inevitably been somewhat challenged.
Business magnates were everywhere here, but songstresses like the girl in front of her were precious and rare.
"Next semester, I'll transfer over to Academy City as well. It might delay some studies, but I want to spend more time with Tilan."
"Mhm, welcome Deloris." The girl reassured the friend lying on her lap, her fingers gently brushed over Deloris's back and hair, and for a moment, the room was quiet.
