"Ah—Ah—Ah—" cried the Man-Eating Flower King, "Don’t, don’t burn me down!"

"The only situation where I wouldn’t destroy someone who crossed me is..." Dugu Qianye said, looking at the fire in her hands.

"Wha-what situation?" the Man-Eating Flower asked.

"Becoming mine," Dugu Qianye stated.

Indeed, when Dugu Qianye had first seen the Man-Eating Flower, she thought to subjugate it. Plant spirits like this were rare, especially attack-oriented ones.

"I, I..." The Man-Eating Flower King wanted to refuse, but seeing Dugu Qianye engulfed in flames, playing with a fireball, its protest died in its mouth, turning into an acceptance, "I am willing."
