Mercenary’s War
Chapter 651 - 651 Six Hundred Forty-Four

651: Chapter Six Hundred Forty-Four 651: Chapter Six Hundred Forty-Four Walking into the command center, Gao Yang took a glance, realizing that the so-called command center was actually just a temporary residence; it wasn’t dirty, but it was definitely in disarray.

The interior space was large; it seemed that this place was not a family home before, but rather a house with some special function, because a regular family residence wouldn’t have just one large room but would surely be divided into many smaller rooms.

On the first floor were only scattered moisture-proof mats and sleeping bags; there was nothing else.

Indeed, Ibrahim gestured for Gao Yang to continue upwards.

The second floor was similar, still one large, empty room, until they reached the third floor, which had been turned into an office space, divided into three separate rooms.

The largest room appeared to be a meeting room, complete with tables and chairs.

After asking Gao Yang to sit down on a chair, Ibrahim spoke a few words in Arabic, and then most of the people who had entered the meeting room with Ibrahim left, leaving only four people by Ibrahim’s side.

Gao Yang sat on the chair, while the rest of the Satan Mercenary Corps members intentionally or unintentionally dispersed and stood around the room.

Ibrahim sat opposite Gao Yang, smiling broadly, “I’m truly sorry, at first, I didn’t realize you were Camel.

But who could have thought, Camel would actually appear here.”

Gao Yang really wanted to know just what kind of person this “Camel” he had casually mentioned was.

Gao Yang raised his hand, smiling at Ibrahim, “Is there anything I can do for you?”

Gao Yang’s modest attitude was like a breath of fresh air for Ibrahim, who expressed his pleasure, “Respected Mr.

Camel, you are indeed as approachable as the legends say.

As a Syrian, I am very grateful that you have come to help us in our fight.”

Gao Yang nodded but didn’t speak, not knowing what to say and thinking it best to say little.

After showering Gao Yang with compliments and expressing gratitude for Gao Yang’s willingness to join the Free Syrian forces, Ibrahim changed the subject and began to express his difficulties.

“Respected Mr.

Camel, you know I’m a Syrian, and everyone in our organization is Syrian.

However, on the land of Syria, our performance doesn’t live up to our identity.

We don’t even have enough guns.

Not too long ago, I managed to get a batch of weapons, finally allowing our warriors to fight Bashar’s dogs with more than just bare hands.”

Gao Yang exhibited intense concentration, merely nodding his head to indicate Ibrahim should continue.

Ibrahim sighed with emotion, “Mr.

Camel, we truly want to play our part in toppling Bashar.

I’m not saying that foreigners shouldn’t come to help us, but even out of self-respect, I hope that Syrians can play a more significant role in this war.

But now, everything here is controlled by the Victory Front; we don’t even get the chance to join the battle.

After speaking, Ibrahim cast a cautious glance at Gao Yang and then switched to an impassioned emphasis, loudly saying, “Mr.

Camel, you are the best bomb expert.

With your help, we can surely make a greater impact.

We fear no sacrifice.

With the bombs you make, we won’t just have to rely on rifles anymore; we can achieve more glorious victories!”

Gao Yang now understood that Ibrahim was hell-bent on a death wish, dissatisfied with others dying in their place.

He was after guns, ammunition, and people only so that they could go to their deaths themselves.

Gao Yang looked at Ibrahim and said solemnly, “What do you hope I can do?”

Ibrahim said excitedly, “I hope to take down Aleppo Prison and let Free Syria take it down.

I think you can definitely do it.”

After an excited glance at the people standing in the room, Ibrahim spoke loudly, “I had the fortune to witness the combat strength of you and your team, it’s very impressive.

I believe with your involvement, we can certainly take down Aleppo Prison!”

Ibrahim was about to push them into a deadly situation, and Gao Yang cursed inwardly, but his face remained calm as he smiled and said, “Taking down Aleppo Prison is exactly what we came here for.”

Ibrahim said loudly, “Whatever your requirements are, I will fulfill them to the fullest.

Free Syria will fully support your operation.

When do you plan to start?

Our people are ready, even if we have to go right now, I believe you won’t refuse, right?”

Gao Yang thought for a moment and then shook his head, “Not today, tomorrow.

I need to check out the terrain of Aleppo Prison and get familiar with the fighting characteristics of your people.

We can’t be too hasty.”

Ibrahim nodded repeatedly and said, “Okay, okay.

Originally, the Victory Front planned to attack the prison today, but since they heard you were coming, the Victory Front’s plan for today might be canceled.

They had intended to fill a car with bombs and crash it into the prison gates.

However, their plans had to be postponed after the blasting expert they found was taken out by you.”

After finishing, Ibrahim chuckled, “They definitely have to postpone now.

The Victory Front’s contact just said that you can use their TNT as you wish.”

Gao Yang nodded, pointed to two rooms connected to the meeting room, and laughed, “This house is quite unique.

May I take a tour?”

Ibrahim immediately laughed, “Of course, please, this is our command center.

The room next door is my bedroom, and the other one belongs to my two deputies.

This house was the office of a local stone factory.

They also display products here.

It’s the sturdiest building around—very safe.”

Ibrahim not only showed Gao Yang his bedroom but also enthusiastically explained the uses of the house.

After taking a look, Gao Yang sat down again.

He had been pretending to be distracted, but now he fell into silence.

After what seemed like a long time considering something, he suddenly said to Ibrahim, “I’m sorry, but I have some things I need to discuss privately with my people, to reach consensus internally and come up with a plan.

Could you give us some time?”

Ibrahim replied eagerly, “I understand, I understand.

We’ll leave you to it then.

I’ll be downstairs; just call me when you’ve made a decision.”

Ibrahim left with his people.

Before leaving, he thoughtfully closed the door, leaving only Gao Yang and his companions in the room.

As soon as Ibrahim left and making sure there was no one outside, Gao Yang immediately went over to Rafael, lowered his voice, and whispered, “How is it?”

Rafael whispered back urgently, “The stone walls are too thick, and the house’s load points are very balanced.

We need a considerable amount of explosives to do the job.”

As Rafael spoke, he fiddled with the C4 in his hands, and soon lifted a piece of C4 that could be detonated at any time, whispering in an extremely faint voice, “But we could place a few of these in this meeting room and under that Ibrahim’s bed.

That would make things a lot easier, wouldn’t it?”

Gao Yang smiled, signaling Rafael to continue, and then whispered to everyone, “Who the hell can tell me who this ‘Camel’ that I randomly made up is!” (To be continued.
