Gao Yang was very pleased with Eileen’s situation and her attitude, but he was still quite surprised when he found out Eileen didn’t come from Delta, as he had thought, but from the German KSK instead.

The surprise was brief, and after a little thought, he understood.

The process of forming Germany’s KSK was quite interesting; among the world-renowned Special Forces, KSK probably had the shortest history.

The historically older German Special Forces, GSG9, were strictly speaking a police force, so although Germany had a strong force, the military still lacked a directly controlled Special Forces unit.

In 1994, during the Rwandan genocide, eleven Germans were taken hostage and the helpless German National Defense Forces could only seek help from Belgium, which sent Special Forces to rescue the hostages.

Stimulated by these events, the German National Defense Forces decided to establish their own Special Forces.

In 1996, the Special Forces Assault Team was officially established, and this team was abbreviated as KSK.

Due to a lack of necessary experience, at the beginning of KSK’s establishment, the carefully selected soldiers were trained by other countries’ famous Special Forces, such as the United Kingdom’s SAS and America’s Delta.

Although KSK later developed its own training system and could conduct its own training, members of KSK are still frequently sent abroad for training and to participate in joint military exercises even now.

Because of these characteristics of KSK, it shouldn’t be surprising that Eileen, although German, had mastered combat techniques from the American Delta.

Despite its short history, KSK is said to have learned from many sources and is indeed very impressive; it has now become a formidable force.

Learning that Eileen came from KSK, Gao Yang was extremely pleased, very, very pleased, because although there were many people in the Satan Mercenary Corps with backgrounds in teams with Special Forces elements, there was no one from a genuine Special Forces unit.

Although he did not yet know if Eileen would choose to become a mercenary, before sharing the answer with Eileen, Gao Yang needed to consult Cui Bo.

Not intending to hide anything from Eileen, Gao Yang asked in front of her, “Rabbit, what do you think?

Should we take her in?”

Without hesitation, Cui Bo said, “Isn’t that a silly question?

Coming from KSK, it would be such a waste to let her go.

But do you think she’s willing?”

Gao Yang shrugged his shoulders and looked at Eileen, “Actually, I still have questions for you, but now I can tell you what your new job is.

Do you want to fight around the world and earn a high salary?”

Eileen waved her hand weakly and said, “You’ve been beating around the bush for so long just to tell me this?

What a joke.

What makes you think you have the right to invite me?

I’ll tell you clearly, I have no interest in PMCs.

One bad experience working for a private military contractor was enough for me.

I never want to deal with you losers again!”

Gao Yang expressed his surprise, “You’ve been a PMC?”

Eileen looked anguished, but she tried to appear disdainful and said, “Obviously.

Some self-proclaimed badass private military contractors or security companies are just safe havens for spineless wimps.”

Eileen’s tone was big and aggressive, indicating she indeed had an unpleasant experience, but Gao Yang wasn’t angry because he wasn’t with a PMC.

Clearing his throat, Gao Yang said in a deep voice, “I didn’t realize you felt so strongly about PMCs, but we’re not PMC.

We are mercenaries, the real deal as the term suggests, offensive in nature, who make money by fighting not by guarding homes.”

Eileen frowned, but then dismissively said, “Real mercenaries?

You mean like the cannon fodder active in Libya and Syria?

Hmph, still not interested.

As a cannon fodder group, you’re not worthy of having me.

Who do you think you are?

If someone from the Angel Mercenary Corps were here saying this to me, I might consider it, but obviously, you’re not them.

So, keep quiet, and don’t mention the name of a mercenary group just to embarrass yourself.”

This time, Gao Yang was truly shocked and said, “You know about Angel?”

Eileen scoffed, “Obviously I do.

If you think I’m an idiot who knows nothing about mercenaries, you’re mistaken.

I’m very familiar with this industry.

So, shut up.”

Gao Yang smiled and responded, “Good, since you understand, then I can tell you.

If you really are familiar with the mercenary circle, then you should have heard of our Mercenary Group.

We are…”

Eileen, impatient, said, “Enough already, stop acting like you’re all that impressive.

If you’re not from Angel, could you possibly be from Satan’s ranks?

If not, shut up.

I’m not interested in any mercenary groups other than Angel and Satan, nor do I want to earn the so-called high salary you’re talking about!”

Gao Yang’s speech was cut off, but after hearing Eileen’s words, his mood actually started to improve.

Then he finally finished what he had started to say.

“We are from the Satan Mercenary Corps, I am the leader of the Satan Mercenary Corps.

If you’ve heard of us, that’s good; it saves me the trouble of explaining,” Gao Yang said.

This time, Eileen was the one who was surprised.

Eileen’s mouth hung open, but since her eyes were concealed behind sunglasses, Gao Yang missed out on the feeling of being worshipped, leaving him somewhat regretful.

After scrutinizing Gao Yang for a long time, Eileen hesitantly said, “You say you’re with Satan?”

“That’s right.”

“The leader of the Satan Mercenary Corps is a Huaxia person?!”

“Correct, as you see.”

After another moment of stunned silence, Eileen hesitantly said, “You’re not lying to me, right?

You two are from the Satan Mercenary Corps that defeated Angel and made it onto the Mercenary magazine, not some other group with the same name, right?”

Shrugging, Gao Yang replied, “You said you were very familiar with the mercenary world; I thought you really were.”

Eileen, a bit lost, said, “The Satan Mercenary Corps is very mysterious, nobody knows who they really are, how am I supposed to know if you’re just bluffing.”

Gao Yang shrugged again and said, “I can’t prove that to you, and I’m not obliged to, but I’m in a good mood now, so perhaps you can tell me how I’m supposed to prove it.”

Without hesitation, Eileen said, “Talk about that time you clashed with Angel, where was it?”

“Somalia, Bosaso.”

Eileen started to believe him; in a daze, she said, “God, it’s just like I heard.

So, you really are Satan’s people, and you’re the leader?”

“Correct, the real deal, guaranteed authentic,” Gao Yang confirmed.

“Great, I’m in!”

“Huh?

What did you say?”

“I said, I’m joining you.

I want to join the Satan Mercenary Corps.

Believe me, I won’t disappoint you.

Do you want me to prove my abilities?

Do you still need to test me?

If so, please tell me, and I will show you that I have the strength to join Satan!” (To be continued.
