Mercenary’s War
Chapter 407 - 407 405 The Latest Intelligence

407: Chapter 405: The Latest Intelligence 407: Chapter 405: The Latest Intelligence “Buying intelligence?

What do you mean?”

“Here’s the deal: I have a detailed map of Teodulo’s camp, including GPS coordinates.

Additionally, I can tell you where Teodulo’s living quarters are located within the camp.

With this information, you’ll be able to find Teodulo’s camp by noon tomorrow.

Furthermore, I’ll throw in the layout of the camp’s guards for you.”

Even though Gao Yang felt the mission was unlikely to continue and had a premonition about what Justin’s intelligence would reveal, he was rendered speechless by Justin’s words.

After a moment of stunned silence, Gao Yang turned to Nate, who shrugged his shoulders and said in a low voice, “I suggest you purchase Justin’s intelligence.

It would indeed be a great help in accomplishing your mission.”

Gao Yang forced a wry smile, “Alright, Nate, you have the typical German rigidity, truly indifferent to anything beyond the contract.

As for you, Justin, you sold out Teodulo so quickly; he’s going to be very angry if he finds out.”

Justin shrugged and replied, “I’ve already completed my transaction with Teodulo.

We have no relationship now.

Since Teodulo didn’t sign any confidentiality agreement with me, and given that you have a need, everything about Teodulo has become a commodity that can be bought and sold.

So, am selling my commodity is completely ethical.”

Determined never to deal with Justin again, Gao Yang asked, “I have a question, how do I know that after I buy your information, you won’t immediately call Teodulo and sell my information to him as a commodity?

And after you sell me out, you call to tell me I’ve been sold.

If we follow this logic, it’s a vicious circle.”

Justin smiled and said, “I’m glad you thought of that.

You can set a time limit on the information from our meeting.

After the time limit, I can sell information about you, but I will keep it absolutely secret within the time frame.”

Gao Yang snorted, “Alright, how much do you plan to sell Teodulo for?”

Justin held up a finger.

Gao Yang shrugged, “A million US dollars?

That’s quite expensive.”

“It’s one US dollar, Mr.

Ram.”

Gao Yang was surprised by the answer, “One US dollar?

Are you joking?”

Justin’s smile was sunny and radiant.

After running his hand through his curly hair, he said with a smile, “I can’t give away the information for free.

It’s against my principles.

So, I’m willing to sell the information to you for one dollar.

Any currency works; I’ll sell it to you for a lira.”

“Thanks for your generosity, Justin, but tell me why.

Why would you do this?

It doesn’t seem like we have much of a relationship.”

Justin smiled, “Here’s the thing: my previous dealings were limited in scope.

My business transactions were mainly with intelligence personnel from various countries.

However, it’s tough and dangerous to deal with national intelligence agencies.

More importantly, the money to be made from them is limited.

Many people might think intelligence officers are as suave as 007, but unfortunately, those in need of buying intelligence from me often have very limited funds.

The input does not proportionally reflect the output.

Now I want to expand the scope and scale of my business.

National intelligence is hard to come by and to sell at high prices.

The underground world is different; the buyers are generous, and the information is easier to obtain.

I have a wealth of intelligence sources, so I’m now committed to serving clients from the underground world, like drug lords, arms dealers, mercenaries, and various military organizations.

I’m very interested in the recent rise of the powerful Satan Mercenary Corps, but I wasn’t too clear about your capabilities.

I know the Angel Mercenary Corps is number one among the small mercenary groups, but it was only after I met Mr.

Schumacher that I learned the Satan Mercenary Corps is number one among the micro mercenary groups.

I owe you an apology for the price I quoted to your agent.

Maintaining good relations with industry leaders is undoubtedly right, and as an industry leader myself, I’m very keen on forming a long-term partnership with you.

Hence, I’m selling Teodulo’s information to you for one dollar, to express my sincerity and apology.”

After Justin’s lengthy explanation, Gao Yang nodded noncommittally and then turned to Nate, “Have you started cooperating with Justin?”

Nate shook his head, “Not at the moment.

If this operation proves Justin’s intelligence to be accurate, we may purchase information from Justin in the future.”

Gao Yang laughed, “Forgive my frankness, Justin, but your way of doing business makes me reluctant to make any transactions with you.

I’m afraid one day I might be sold by you and not even know it.”

Justin said sternly, “Mr.

Ram, Mr.

Schumacher, I am very pleased to maintain you two as long-term partners, so I can enter a lifetime confidentiality agreement with you.

Regarding the intelligence on the Angel and Satan Mercenary Corps, I won’t sell it to anyone.”

Nate shrugged and said, “Sounds good.

Well, I will consider partnering with you.”

Gao Yang had decided not to have any further dealings with Justin, but there was no need to reject him in haste now, so he nodded, “Alright, Justin, I’ll buy your information.

If I verify that there’s nothing wrong with it, then perhaps we can start a long-term cooperation in the future.”

Justin extended his hand with a smile, “Pleasure doing business, and now please make the payment.”

Gao Yang searched his person for a while, eventually pulling out several hundred-dollar bills.

He simply did not have any small change, so after placing a hundred US dollars in Justin’s hand, he laughed, “Keep the change as a tip.”

Justin shrugged, flicked the banknote, and then said in a deep voice, “I’ve recorded the route we took here.

Now open the Bluetooth on your GPS, and I’ll transfer the route to you.

Then, you can follow the GPS guidance straight to Teodulo’s camp.

It’s that simple.”

Gao Yang said, “Wait, our GPS often fails to receive satellite signals, and the recorded routes are intermittent.

Does your GPS have this problem?”

Justin shrugged again, “Of course, there is no such problem.

My GPS has an enhanced signal kit, but if your GPS has poor signal reception, that’s a serious problem.

Alright, I’ll give you my GPS, a small gift.”

After placing a GPS on the table, Justin reached into his shirt pocket and took out a pen, looking up, “Could someone give me a piece of paper?”

Gao Yang had no paper on him, but after Nate spoke up, a soldier pulled out a notebook, tore off a sheet of paper, and handed it to Justin.

Justin bent over the paper, scribbling and sketching quickly.

Soon, a simple diagram emerged.

It had to be said that Justin, with an intelligence background, was quite adept at drawing.

Even though it was only on a piece of 32nd-size paper, he had densely filled it with the layout of the buildings and the distribution of the sentries within the camp.

“It needs to be highlighted that Teodulo’s house is located in the central area of the camp.

Compared to the other thatched huts, it’s not particularly distinct.

Behind his residence there is a large tree.

I don’t know what species it is, but around eight meters above the ground, there is a Y-shaped fork that is quite noticeable.

In the tree, there is a lookout post with at least two soldiers.

Additionally, there are at least two soldiers at the door of Teodulo’s house.

Inside his house, there are two rooms, front and back.

Teodulo and his three women live in the back room.

Teodulo himself carries only a handgun, but each of his women has a Uzi Submachine Gun.

From what I’ve observed, his women seem to have some combat skills, which you need to be wary of.

During the day, Teodulo might leave his room, but at night he should be inside.”

Justin’s intelligence was very detailed.

Gao Yang took the map drawn by Justin without any pretense, and the GPS as well, and laughed, “I still don’t know if we can take on this task.

If we can, then I really must thank you.

You’ve been a big help.”

Justin smiled slightly, “I’m honored to be of help to you.

Also, let me give you a piece of advice.

About three miles north of Teodulo’s camp, there is a small town with two seaplanes.

You can take the plane directly to Caqueta River from the town, and from there, you can quickly return to Pailano’s camp.

The map to the town is on the GPS, just follow it.”

“Why don’t you use this route to get to Pailano’s camp?”

Justin laughed, “There are only two planes in that town.

One can carry a maximum of ten people, and the other is a super small cargo plane.

We have too many people.”

Gao Yang nodded, “Got it, I’ll remember that.

Thanks for the intelligence and advice, Justin.

I will seriously consider your suggestions.”

Justin smiled and pulled out a business card from his top pocket, handing it over with both hands, “If you need anything, call this number.”

After receiving the business card, Gao Yang pocketed it as well, and then chuckled, “It seems I’ve once again landed a great deal, Justin.

But let me remind you, don’t turn around and sell us out to Teodulo.

That wouldn’t be good.”

Justin laughed heartily, “Rest assured on that front, your intelligence is not for sale.”

After Justin finished speaking, Nate suddenly extended his hand to Justin and said expressionlessly, “To ensure you do not sell our information to anyone, please hand over your communication tools for me to keep.

I will return them when you leave.

I mean all devices that can be used for communication.”
