356: Chapter Three Hundred and Fifty-Four: Dreams Come True 356: Chapter Three Hundred and Fifty-Four: Dreams Come True After borrowing a car from Morgan, Gao Yang and Yelena brought a carload of household necessities and food to his ranch.

The drive from Portland to the ranch in Idaho was a long one.

Plus, with Gao Yang and Yelena enjoying their sweet time together, they didn’t drive very fast.

It took them an entire day to get there, and they arrived at the ranch only after it got dark.

The two didn’t hurry on their way, and they also wasted a lot of time.

By the time they got home, it was pitch-black, and it was impossible to admire their home from the outside.

But at that moment, they didn’t waste any more time on that.

After opening the door and stepping into the grand living room, Gao Yang put down the things in his hands and said softly, “We’re finally home, baby.

You must be exhausted.”

Yelena, with a sweet smile on her face, replied, “I don’t feel tired at all.

Being with you, I only feel happy, very, very happy.

I can’t feel anything else.”

Gao Yang gently wrapped his arms around Yelena and sighed, “I never thought that one day, I would live with a beautiful girl I didn’t even dare to dream about, in a big house set in my favorite environment.

All of this feels like a dream.”

Yelena nestled into Gao Yang’s embrace and said softly, “Gao, thank you for being willing to love me.

I feel like I’m in heaven right now.

I can’t imagine how I could go on without you.”

Gao Yang patted Yelena’s shoulder and said softly, “Silly girl, we will never be apart.

This will be our home from now on; we’re going to have a happy life here, have lots of kids.

The only thing you need to worry about now is whether you like our house here.”

Looking up at Gao Yang with deep affection, Yelena replied softly, “Of course I love it here.

In fact, as long as you are with me, I’ll love it no matter where we are.”

Having been uninhabited for too long, the ranch house was covered with a layer of dust.

After affectionately kissing Yelena on the forehead, Gao Yang said softly, “Baby, it’s time to clean up our place now.

Go find a bedroom you like.

Let’s get your bedroom sorted out, and we’ll clean the other rooms tomorrow.”

With a shy face, Yelena spoke in a reproachful tone, “You just said this is our home, but now you’re talking about my bedroom?”

Gao Yang paused for a moment, then chuckled and said, “Sorry, baby.

I meant to say, our bedroom.”

After playfully hitting Gao Yang on the chest, Yelena went to choose a bedroom.

Then, while Yelena cleaned the room, Gao Yang went to unload items from the car, putting new sheets and blankets on the bed and placing a photo of Gao Yang and Yelena together, as well as filling the wardrobe with their respective clothes.

Naturally, there were also the beloved stuffed animals and knick-knacks that ladies cherish.

It’s a hassle not living in a house for too long, every time you come to stay, it needs tidying up.

But getting the house in order was a pleasure, a sweet and happy pleasure.

Yelena had no feeling of impatience as she tidied, while Gao Yang, lending a hand, also found joy in the task.

After everything was neat and tidy, Yelena looked at the freshly arranged room and said with a sweet smile, “Now, it finally looks like a home, our home.”

Upon hearing Yelena’s words, Gao Yang was momentarily lost in thought, then he said with emotion, “Our home.

What a warm phrase.

I finally have a home again.”

Gao Yang and Yelena were each other’s first love, and they truly loved one another.

In such a situation, what happened next goes without saying.

Not knowing how long they had slept, the sun was already shining into the room when Gao Yang half-awoke, and then he saw a pair of gentle, loving eyes staring at him.

When Yelena saw Gao Yang open his eyes, she shyly closed her own and buried herself in the bedding.

Gao Yang patted Yelena and chuckled, “Baby, it’s time to get up.”

After seeing Gao Yang, Yelena said pitifully, “You bad guy.”

Though Yelena’s face seemed to blame Gao Yang, her tone was filled to the brim with sweetness.

Gao Yang, filled with tenderness, said, “Baby, wait here for a while.

I’m going to prepare our breakfast…

no, make that lunch.”

Yelena immediately got up, her face radiating sweetness, and said, “No, I’ll go.

I’ve been looking forward to this day for so long.

As your wife, I must prepare your meals, especially today.

I want to prepare our loving breakfast for you.”

Being loved by Yelena, Gao Yang’s only thought was that having a wife like her, he needed nothing more in life.

After finishing the lavish and affectionate breakfast made by Yelena, Gao Yang, holding her hand, strolled on the grass outside the house.

Yelena really enjoyed the feeling of being carried princess-style by Gao Yang, wrapping her arms around his neck and feeling the warmth of his chest.

Suddenly, Yelena said, “Darling, I’ve won.”

Gao Yang was slightly startled and asked, “What are you talking about?”

Yelena said with a light smile, “You used to shield yourself with Catherine, claiming she was your girlfriend.

Do you know, my heart broke then, but I soon decided I had to steal you away, I had to make you fall in love with me.

Now it seems I’ve won, I know you love me, and you’ll marry me too.

I really want to announce to the whole world that I’m yours now.”

Gao Yang quickly said, “I don’t mind if you want to announce it, but please, let’s not let your father find out.”

Yelena chuckled softly, “My dad isn’t stupid, he must have guessed already.

Actually, the one I feel a bit sorry for now is Catherine.

She is now my best friend, we hang out a lot.

I feel that…”

Gao Yang cut her off, looking surprised, “You’ve become friends with her?

And you hang out?

Please, she’s a lesbian!”

Yelena, looking upset, gave Gao Yang a gentle slap, then pouted, “I know Catherine is a lesbian, so of course I keep my distance.

What are you thinking?

Catherine’s home is in New York, and her father works at Juilliard School.

When I first arrived in New York, Catherine helped me a lot.

Actually, I’ve always thought, maybe Catherine isn’t really a lesbian, because I feel she likes you, she’s always liked you.

Even though she hides it well, I can still tell.

But, perhaps even Catherine doesn’t know that she likes you.”

Gao Yang said helplessly, “Baby, we’re talking about a woman here, and yet you’re still saying she likes me.

I don’t think this is the right time to discuss this.”

Yelena smiled sweetly, “I’m sorry, I just feel a bit indebted to Catherine.

If it weren’t for me, maybe you would’ve been lovers by now.

Okay, I’m just voicing my sentiments.

I’m very happy now.”

Gao Yang, with a soft voice, said, “Right now, all I feel is happiness, so let’s not let others disturb us.

It’s not the time.”

Yelena, hugging Gao Yang, said with deep affection, “Sorry, when you were away, I thought about you all the time, I could only confide in Catherine about everything related to you, so now I also just want to loudly announce to all my friends that I’ve got everything I wanted.”

Now, Gao Yang had no feelings towards Catherine, having Yelena was enough for him.

So when Yelena brought up Catherine, Gao Yang felt no particular emotion.

After smiling lightly, Gao Yang asked softly, “My dear, as the lady of the house, where would you like to go next?”

Yelena’s eyes widened as she thought for a moment, then said, “Although I’m not a composer, I composed a few pieces while thinking of you.

I want to play the violin for you, to play my own compositions, is that okay?”

Gao Yang said joyfully, “You can compose?

That’s great, of course, I must listen to your own compositions.”

Yelena smiled, “Wait here for me.”

After returning to the house to grab her violin, Gao Yang lay on the grass watching Yelena as she stood in front of him, playing the music she had created for them both.

Gao Yang couldn’t discern too much technicality, but he instinctively found it very beautiful, incredibly melodic, serene, and clear.

In the violin voice, he could hear the flavor of longing, not one of sadness but filled with anticipation and joy.

As the piece came to an end, Yelena said with a light laugh, “I haven’t fully completed this piece yet, but I couldn’t wait.

I wanted you to hear it now.

I hope that by the time I graduate, I can perform this piece at my graduation concert.”

Gao Yang said seriously, “Okay, when you graduate, no matter where I am, I will definitely come to listen to you play this piece again, for sure!”(To be continued.
