The meeting with Rebrov and Voronin wasn’t exactly successful, but it wasn’t a complete failure either. Although nothing was said with Kofupake, Gao Yang still felt something was off because Rebrov’s attitude changed too quickly.

From being angry about Kofupake selling missiles privately to being all jovial after receiving the money, Gao Yang felt Rebrov’s attitude change was a bit abrupt. Even if he received a large sum of money, his anger seemed to dissipate a bit too quickly.

Gao Yang laughed, "You guys are always thinking about killing. This is business. As long as we’re not sure Kofupake is screwing us over, we can’t just kill the guy. What would that be? Number Thirteen shook his head and said, "You’re too soft-hearted, not like a mercenary at all."

Eileen said gravely, "Then what do we do? Rebrov seems problematic to me too. Should we make some protective preparations?"
