Chapter 1360: Chapter 1,343: A Way Out for You

Kiev.

Without lingering for too long, after making quite an impression, all members of Satan had arrived in Kiev by the third day, with everything ready.

Returning to Ukraine, it hasn’t been too long since their last visit, but this time, it’s different from the first time. Not to mention, Little Donnie spent some time in Kiev and didn’t come away empty-handed.

This time in Kiev, Gao and his team had many important things they needed to bring. Their weaponry couldn’t be left behind, especially with several big bags of cash, totaling a hefty $27 million US Dollars. These two types of items certainly needed to be handled with extra care.

When the plane landed, Gao and his team didn’t have to take their stuff out from the airport and load it onto vehicles themselves. Shava, the leader of the White Shark Gang, personally brought several cars right onto the runway to pick them up.

Along with Shava, Nikolai Yashkov, the driver Gao had unintentionally recruited last time, was also there. During Little Donnie’s stay in Kiev, Nikolai acted as his driver, so naturally, he couldn’t drive a taxi during this time, frequently driving a second-hand Mercedes around Kiev with Little Donnie.

Nikolai could get inside the airport to pick them up only because Shava brought him; otherwise, he wouldn’t have the ability to drive into the airport.

Wearing a suit, Gao came down from the plane and laughed heartily, walking toward Shava, who was already spreading his arms wide. After a firm hug with Shava, Gao said loudly, “Long time no see, my friend.”

Shava was now a significant figure in the city of Kiev, having expanded his territory quite aggressively recently, both in acquisitions and operations. However aggressive he might be, he still retained his rustic charm.

After a hearty hug with Gao, Shava admired the plane behind Gao with some envy. Then he shifted his gaze and laughed heartily to Gao, “Knowing you were coming made me very happy, my friend. Let’s go, I need to treat you well.”

Shava brought over a dozen cars, some of them quite new luxury vehicles, while the rest, although not luxurious, were still pretty decent for Kiev standards. Gao pointed toward the convoy Shava brought and laughed, “Brother, lend me a few cars to drive?”

Shava brought a lot of cars and people, partly for grandiosity and partly to show off. As soon as he heard Gao’s request, he waved his hand and said, “Lend? I’m giving them to you. Any car you find useful, just take it.”

Gao didn’t hold back. He waved to his team, shouting, “Go pick a few suitable cars, enough to use, and get Nikolai to lead the way to send our stuff back.”

During Little Donnie’s time in Kiev, he had already secured a base. Doing business couldn’t be done staying in hotels all the time; after all, it was inconvenient. Of course, it was inconvenient because what they were doing was not the kind of business that could see the light of day.

After giving out instructions, Gao thought for a moment and then said to Li Jinfang and Number Thirteen, “You two come with me. We’ll first go to Shava’s place and bring all the stuff.”

The group got into the convoy, taking all six of the larger SUVs and off-road vehicles, and then started loading all the stuff they brought onto the cars.

With a lot of people, loading was quick. Watching everyone load the items onto the cars, Gao nodded toward Glolov and then smiled at Shava beside him, saying, “Alright, let’s go, buddy. I’m starving, hope you prepared something besides vodka for me.”

Shava laughed heartily, loudly saying, “Of course, of course! That’s a given. Get in my car, let’s go.”

In the car, Gao didn’t talk much, just chatted casually with Shava. It wasn’t until Shava’s car arrived at the destination that Gao realized that after Shava gained some wealth, he finally moved his base from the old warehouse to a nightclub.

Although not finding the nightclub’s taste to be particularly high-end, a nightclub was certainly better than a warehouse without even a door. When the car stopped at the entrance of a fairly large nightclub that didn’t look new but well-maintained, Shava pointed to the sign of the nightclub with satisfaction and smiled, “How about it? This is my newly acquired business. Tonight, I’ll arrange a few beauties for you, as many as you want!”

Gao smiled and said, “This place’s nice!”

Shava was quite proud. Despite having a backdoor, Shava still led Gao through the nightclub and up to the second floor, which had views of the dance floor below and well-soundproofed rooms that became completely silent with a closed door.

In a large, lavishly decorated room with a quite tacky style, Shava clapped his hands loudly and said, “Brother, sit down for a bit, then we’ll go drink. Right here, trust me, you’ll be satisfied.”

The room was crowded, besides Gao and his team of three, there were many of Shava’s close confidants and underlings, probably about a dozen and more, all the people who had fought out of the slums alongside Shava.

Gao liked this aspect of Shava, staying true to his roots.

Unlike those who, once they make a name, rush to establish rules, Shava’s approach might not be good for quickly building authority or facilitating more expansion, but Gao felt dealing with someone like Shava was more straightforward.

As Shava welcomed Gao to start drinking, Gao waved his hand and said to Number Thirteen, “Give me the stuff.”

Number Thirteen handed over a bag he was carrying directly to Gao. Gao took the bag, pulled out a passport from it, handed it over to Shava, and said in a serious tone, “Here’s a gift for you.”

Shava took the passport with a blank expression, glanced at it, then widened his eyes and looked at Gao, saying, “This is a passport? But why is there no photo? Why are you giving me a passport without a photo?”

Gao waved his hand and then smiled at Shava, saying, “I’m giving you all a backup plan. This passport already has an American visa.”

Shava said blankly, “I understand what you mean, but I, I don’t want to leave right now.”

Gao shook his head and smiled, “I’m not asking you to leave now. I just want you to know, if someday you get tired of Ukraine and want to try your luck in America, I can send you there anytime. The passport is fake, but the visa is real, valid for three months.”

After speaking, Gao turned his bag over onto the large coffee table in front of him, pouring out over a dozen passports. He waved his hand and smiled at Shava’s underlings, saying, “There’s one for everyone. I said I’m giving you all a backup plan, for all of you.”

Shava picked up a passport, examined it, and said to Gao, “Can leave at any time?”

Gao shrugged, smiled, and said, “Attach a photo, give me a heads-up, and you can leave anytime. Hence, arrange a few of your buddies to go on a trip to America first to see if my pass works or not.”

Gao indeed gave Shava a backup plan. Shava nodded, raised his passport and laughed loudly, “America, not bad. Brothers, who wants to travel to America?” (To be continued.
